AEGEAN COTTAGE is located in Sidontas Makrotantalo Andros, a mountainous, rural area just 9 kilometers from the island’s port, Gavrio, in the northern part of the island. It is a traditional 93 sq.m. cycladic farmhouse, built of local stone on a rock at the beginning of the 20th century, overseeing the settlement of Sidontas and the family estate with olive trees.
It was last renovated in 2023, showing respect to the local architectural elements, in both the interior and the exterior. Since then, it has been evolved in a fully equipped country house, which has all the necessary facilities and amenities for comfortable, calm, relaxing holidays in nature.
This vacation rental offers significant options to the visitor. It can comfortably accommodate up to 7 people, which makes it an ideal solution for families and groups of friends. Its proximity to hiking route 14, the most beautiful on the island, makes it ideal for hikers. Digital Nomads will find, in addition to other amenities, a fast internet connection.
A breath away from this holiday home you will find the most beautiful beaches of the island. Zorgos, Pisolimnionas, Fellos, Agios Petros, Chrysi Ammos, Vlychada, Ateni, Kypri, Vori, etc. You will also be able to eat in the best taverns, renowned throughout Greece for their excellent cooking and local ingredients. Finally, you won’t miss the nightlife. Batsi and Gavrio offer everything one would need to have fun.
Let’s also mention the important attractions of the island: Museum of Contemporary Art Vassilis and Eliza Goulandris, Archaeological Museum of Chora, Archaeological Museum of Paleopolis, waterfalls of Pythara, Afanis Naftis etc., all ideal destinations with our farmhouse as a starting point.
Of course, if you just need to relax after a day full of activities, you can relax on the veranda, under the pergolas and, after dining in the outdoor dining area, relax in the hammocks listening only to the crickets and the occasional sheep bells.
AEGEAN COTTAGE is fully equipped. Its amenities include air-condition and heating, subscription TV 43" and Netflix, free Wifi, fully equipped kitchen and kitchenware, refrigerator, dishwasher, laundry machine and many many more.
Our family accommodation is available all year round. During off-season periods, it is recommended mostly for hikers. Please check thoroughly the area description (you can utilize Google Maps, search for Aegean Cottage) before proceeding to booking.

For hiking enthusiasts, it is noted that the residence is located within close proximity to the starting point of the certified ANDROS ROUTE trail, as well as trail 14, one of the most beautiful on the island.
As for the beaches, Zorgos, Pisolimnionas, Fellos, Vlychada are a few minutes away by car, as well as Agios Petros, Chrysi Ammos, Kypri, Vitali.
There are options in the area for quality food, such as the well-known Kossis, Steki tou Andreas on Paralia Fellos and Taverna Zorkos on the homonymous beach, a few minutes by car. If you want to buy supplies to cook at home, you will find super markets in the port of Gavrio, 9.5 km from the house.
