Fun fact: the facade of the building is the only remaining face still built in brick at the seafront of Koksijde

The Neighborhood:
Anyone who loves the sea should visit Oostduinkerke for a weekend. The large nature reserve contains the highest dune in Belgium, the Hoge Blekker (33 meters) and is ideal for anyone who wants to walk.
Oostduinkerke is a quiet coastal town on the Belgian coast in the middle of 97 hectares of dunes. The West Coast area has 130 kilometers of footpaths, a third of which are unpaved. This beautiful dune area is a protected nature reserve. Oostduinkerke is one of the best destinations on the Belgian coast, because of its extensive protected nature reserve and cultural activities.
The sandy beach of Oostduinkerke is almost a kilometer wide at low tide and it stretches all the way to Dunkirk in France. A nice place to enjoy the sun, build sandcastles or explore the beach.<
The beach is ideal for para-karting and sand yachting due to its length (30 kilometers to Dunkirk), slope and absence of beach entrances.
Oostduinkerke was a fishing village. Today most residents work for the hotels, camping or restaurants. This can be inferred from the many villas and huge apartments available to guests. Horse fisherman's beach. Catching shrimp with the help of horses is no longer profitable, but in terms of tourism and folklore it is certainly a tradition that should be continued. The shrimp festival takes place in the last week of June. The shrimp parade is held in the streets of Oostduinkerke, led by Mieke Prawn and her ladies. The history of Flemish fisheries can be viewed in the Oostduinkerke National Fisheries Museum. Here you can find ancient landscapes, including a fisherman's house and bar. You can also visit the OD1 Martha, a fishing boat off the coast and you can explore the sea world in various North Sea aquariums.

We also provide a few dishwasher tablets if a dishwasher is available.
HYGIENE ESSENTIALS:
The owner does provide a few hygiene essentials that will cover the first few days of your stay. This includes luxurious bathroom essentials such as shampoo, shower gel and hand soap. Toilet paper is also provided in the toilets.
CLEANING:
The accommodation has been professionally cleaned and prepared. After your check-out, the cleaning and inspection of the accommodation are included in the price. However, we do ask all guests to leave the accommodation in a tidy state to respect our hard-working cleaning colleagues.
