First Floor
Game Room: As you enter, you'll be greeted by a spacious game room complete with a pool table, shuffleboard, big screen TV, and ample seating.
Bedrooms: Two bedrooms are located on this level, each featuring plush carpet, luxurious bedding, TV, and private baths with granite vanities and shower/tub combos. Both rooms open to covered patios.
Kitchenette and Laundry Room: A convenient kitchenette with a large sink, microwave, and refrigerator, plus a laundry/mud room with a washer and dryer.

Second Floor
Main Living Area: Open floor plan with a dining area seating 6 (extendable for more), a cozy living room with leather couches, a gas fireplace, and a big screen TV.
Gourmet Kitchen: A chef's dream with granite countertops, custom wood cabinetry, gas cooktop, separate oven, microwave, French-door refrigerator, and RO water filtration system.

ACCESSING THE HOUSE: The road to the house is off the highway and gravel. There is a private gate that can be manually opened and closed. The driveway up to the house is gravel with a slight incline up to the house Entry to the house is through the door on the back side of the house. There are 2 bedrooms on the bottom level. All other bedrooms, main kitchen and living and access to the hot tub are upstairs. Guests have full access of the home except for any locked doors and garage which are for owner's access only. The barn is for owner access only.

Running Wild offers extreme seclusion among tall pines with visits from the Wild Horses of Alto. Despite its remote feel, it's just 2 miles from Ruidoso Winter Park and Ski Apache turnoff. 3 miles from Alto Lake, and 10 minutes from Ruidoso's Midtown and Grindstone Lake.

Ruidoso, nestled in Lincoln National Forest, features over 10 miles of hiking and biking trails, 3 lakes, and championship golf courses. Enjoy day trips to White Sands National Monument and Valley of Fire State Park. History buffs can visit Fort Stanton and Old Lincoln, famous for Billy the Kid’s escape. Year-round activities include quarter horse races at Ruidoso Downs and winter skiing at Ski Apache.

Some areas around Ruidoso and Alto are hilly to mountainous but paved and generally easy to get around year round. Due to the remote nature of this special property, access is from a gravel road. During winter months, guests may experience snow pack, typically no issue for 4 wheel drive vehicles. In the event of major winter weather, guests are encouraged to have access to tire chains. For extended stays, travel insurance is always recommended.
Hot Tub Rules: NO GLASS OBJECTS in or around the tub. NO BUBBLE OR OILS, they will make a mess, clog filters and jets and damage components. NEVER LEAVE CHILDREN UNATTENDED.
