This one bedroom, Direct Oceanfront condo is located at the Caravelle Resort on the 15th floor. Great balcony views including King bed in the master with a Queen sleeper sofa in the living area. Fully stocked kitchen, and plenty of space to relax. The facility has a heated outdoor pool, indoor pool, hot tubs, dedicated kiddie pool and lazy river. There is a fitness facility and convenience store on the premises.

Guests will have full access to the onsite Tiki bar (Marco Polo Lounge) and newly opened up RJ's restaurant. The Due South Sports bar located at the Grand Cayman Resort is also available for use.

IT IS ON THE QUIETER END OF THE BEACH, FIRST HIGH RISE ON THE BEACH IS NOT CRAZY AND CROWDED LIKE SOME AREAS. THEY HAVE EVERYTHING THAT THE OVERCROWDED RESORTS HAVE LIKE AN INDOOR WATER PARK THAT INCLUDES A POOL, LAZY RIVER WITH FLOATS, KIDS POOL, AND HOT TUB. THE OUTSIDE INCLUDES BEAUTIFUL LANDSCAPING, 2 HUGE DECKS WALKING ON TO BEACH, LARGE HEATED OUTDOOR POOL WITH LAY OUT AREA, HOT TUB, BEAN BAG TOSS, KIDS PLAY AREA, PING PONG TABLES AND MORE(BREAKFAST NOT INCLUDED)

WAYS TO SAVE WITH ME

1)I DO NOT charge credit card fees like most on here – The Payment system charges us 3% every booking. Most owners direct that back to guest but I eat that myself

2) I DO NOT charge any silly administration or booking fees like most on here – Sneaky way of owners charging guest more money… I do not operate like that.

3)I DO NOT charge any silly damage waiver fees like most on here – Once again a sneaky way for owners to get more money…I don’t do that.

4) I have had the same housekeeper since the beginning for my guest… My actual cost for this service has rose over the past few years due to the demand and economy rising but yet I kept the same price for my guests as it cost me much more. On top of that I offer more towels then most rentals so once again I eat that difference in cost.

5) I have the minimum set up for refundable damage deposit at only $100 dollars which is refunded within 7 days of checkout. I have seen a lot of owners have it from $300-$500 and even more. Who wants to fork out that much money just to be held until check out, not me and of course I wouldn’t ask you to do that either.

Long story short: there is no one wants to go to book a unit and see like 10 different random charges so I try to keep it simple as can be. (VRBO charges service fee which I have no control over)

Short Getaway

This property is perfect, 15th floor so you have great views! It's in a great location for restaurants and shopping. Has all the amenities you'll need for a great vacation.

Everything was just like they said it would be. I loved that I could walk out on the balcony and see the ocean, it was a beautiful view. It was easy access to the pool and the ocean The room was clean. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends, O would definitely go back again.

Property was ok but not great

Unit itself was clean enough but overall property was a bit rundown. Shower had very little water or water pressure, bar of soap was not even enough for one person, and toilet paper was as cheap as you could get. It had a nice balcony and beautiful view of the ocean. Was in a good location.

Disappointing

Parts of the unit had not been cleaned. The combination lock on the door was a nightmare to work. The parking lot ramps were very dangerous. The elevators were horrible with long delays and once getting stuck for several minutes. The entrance from the building to the beach was not kept cleared of sand on the steps.

Vacation

My husband, myself and our two kids 10 and 9. Stayed in Jay’s Condo. The kids slept on the pull out couch and was plenty big enough for the two of them. The condo looked newly updated from the photos and was just that way when we arrived. Everything was clean and in nice condition. Cleanliness is super important to me and this condo was great! It was also just a short drive to Broadway at the beach as well as the Beach boardwalk and many other places. Jay was very informative and responsive to any questions we had. Would definitely recommend!

Unit is small

First and foremost, our communication with the host was incredible. Very fast responses, was able to accommodate us to move dates because of my son’s national competition. Jay is an amazing host. As for the unit, it is smaller than it appears in pictures. This unit will sleep 2 comfortably. A family of 4, not so much. The cleanliness was fair. There were food crumbs from previous guests still in the sofa bed when we pulled it out. When we first arrived, it was as if the unit hadn’t been swept because of the sand still in the floor. There is not a washer/dryer in the unit, which is possibly user error as I was under the impression that there was because of my selected amenities using this app. There is a small laundromat at the resort, but only a few of the dryers work, and when I flipped the lights on to the laundromat to go pick up my clothes, roaches scattered everywhere. So use that information however you please. Bathroom is very small. There’s a wider area before the shower and toilet to accommodate anyone getting ready for the day/evening, but the shower and toilet area is very small which can be difficult for a larger human to maneuver. The kitchen/hallway area is very small. Do not expect to get by anyone comfortably if they are in this area. My main problem with the unit is the price for what you’re getting. I have paid far less for larger condos without the said issues. The listing is misleading, and in my opinion not worth the price being asked.

Great time

Great location and beach access. Slow elevators to get but then went fast. Need more pool chairs but pools were great as well as pool bare.

Nice place. Had some construction going on next door until about 10:30 pm. Nice view.

Nice for a couple more than 2 adults may feel cramped.

Great place for young kids/family

Baseball Getaway!

Stayed for the week to watch our son play college baseball at The Ripken Experience. Perfect for 2 of us! Clean, conveniently located, and just as described. Loved the sound of the ocean and sunrise every morning. Everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Awesome View

The condo we stayed in was very nice. The view was amazing waking up every morning listening to the waves crashing and watching the sunrise. Jay our host is a great person to work with. The only one bad thing about it was some of the dishes was put up dirty from the last attendant that stayed there but we have a problem washing them so it didn’t damper our stay at all

Beautiful stay

The property was very clean with lovely decor. Kitchen was well stocked. The balcony was wonderful, with comfortable chairs. The beds were very comfortable. The location is convenient to restaurants and shopping. Would highly recommend this vrbo and hope to stay again!

Besties Trip

My Best Friend (for 50 yrs) and i came for a relaxing trip. The beach was AMAZING! Maybe leave info on the umbrellas and chairs so people k ow you have to rent them so they know cost.($50 for the day). We had a blast, thanks Jay!! Sunrise and sunset were absolutely beautiful we got some awesome photos WE WILL BE BACK!!!

It was pretty good. First got there and wish the place was a little bigger but quit nice. Beautiful view of the beach from back. Perfect for stolling the beach at night. And a couple of problems but all and all it was good.

Several things were in need of repair but overall it was a very nice condo. Bright and cheery colors and decor. Beautiful view of the ocean.

First family trip

First off, we had a blast! The room itself was so adorable and very very clean. We had a spectacular ocean view. All the appliances worked. And having having smart tvs were a blessing for the children to wind down while I cooked. The host was spot on. That's why I'm giving a five star review. The only downside was waiting on the elevators took forever. Parking was hit or miss. And the game room will take your money bc only two of the games work. I don't hold that against the host at all and I would deff stay here again!!!

Disappointed

First negative experience with a VRBO rental. Could not get to property details, which I’m assuming was a VRBO issue. Called Jay, who answered & gave the info we needed. Later sent a text to Jay (still couldn’t get to VRBO to message) because the bedroom TV was saying we needed a password for Youtube TV (living room worked fine). Jay responded that he had installed the TVs at the same time & basically said “sorry”. Wi-fi was really bad. Kept getting knocked off our devices, and TV’s kept getting hung up. Water in the sinks and shower would be scalding hot one minute, then cold the next. Went to get ice from the hallway ice machine, and it did not work. Kitchen floor wasn’t real clean at check-in, but the rest of the condo seemed fine. We had a good time and enjoyed Myrtle Beach, but wouldn’t rent at this property again.

Beach Trip 2023

We loved your condo..everything was described perfectly..very clean..the bed was awesome..can’t think of anything that I would ask to be changed..Would recommend this place to everyone..we’re looking forward to booking with you all next year..
