Bondegård i hjertet af Chianti 3 km fra Castellina in Chianti, 23 km fra Siena og 37 fra Firenze, 600 meter over havets overflade. Nedsænket i skove og vinmarker er et ideelt sted at flygte fra byens kaos eller blot slappe af fra arbejde. Derudover gør nærheden til de største kunstbyer og de vigtigste veje vores struktur et fremragende udgangspunkt for at besøge Toscana.

Lejligheden, der kan rumme op til 4 personer, har 2 soveværelser med dobbeltsenge, 2 badeværelser, brusebad med hydromassage og et stort køkken udstyret med alle bekvemmeligheder.

Fra et af de to soveværelser har du adgang til den store terrasse med veranda med udsigt over den store have med grill, ideel til udendørs grill.

Den store have (ca. en hektar) er beskyttet af en 2 meter hæk, der giver vores gæster fuldstændig privatliv. Strukturen ligger 50 meter fra vores hus, så for enhver information eller behov kan turister stole på os 24 timer i døgnet.

A great stay in Chianti

We had a three day stay in Casanuova, while touring wineyards in Chianti. This house was everything we hoped for. Privacy with a great view, and a fully equipped kitchen. Danielle was a very kind and helpful host, and we would happily return for another stay.

Beautiful and Relaxing

It was a perfect home base for my husband and I for daytripping around Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna, and a welcome break from staying at a hotel. The town is close to the property, and an easy stop for breakfast and coffee on our way to other destinations. Unfortunately it was raining most of the days we were there, so we did not get to enjoy the exterior as we had hoped.Note to others: the street to the farmhouse is not paved and there are many potholes, so drive slowly and carefully!

Fantastic isolation

The house was beautiful and the location was wonderfully quiet and set back from the main road. It’s quaint and cozy. There’s a short gravel road up to the cottage but it’s an easy drive. I would definitely book again.

Wonderful Property

Wonderful Property very convenient to all of our favorite Chianti villages and restaurants. Very quiet, not even a distant dog barking at night. Minor issue with hot water but this was quickly addressed by the manager. We look forward to visiting again in 2025. unusual for the Chi

Traumhafte Chiantilandschaft

Unser Aufenthalt war wirklich schön. Das idyllische Ferienhaus entsprach unserer Vorstellung. Gleich als wir ankamen begrüßte uns eine ältere Dame, gab uns die Schlüssel und erklärte uns die Einrichtungen im Haus. Sie sprach nur italienisch. Dank Google Übersetzung war es kein Problem. Morgens Frühstück auf der Terrasse umgeben von Zitronenbäumchen und nachmittags hinter dem Haus mit Blick über die Chiantihügel. Wir hatten unsere Räder dabei und sind damit gerne nach Castellina gefahren, um einzukaufen, durch den Ort zu bummeln und etwas essen zu gehen. Da konnte unser Auto zu Hause bleiben. Rad zu fahren in der Umgebung ist etwas beschwerlich wenn man von der Straße (alle ohne Radweg) abweicht. Es liegt Geröll auf den Wegen und bei starkem Gefälle nicht einfach zu fahren. Unser Hund war dabei und konnte im herrlichen Garten alles begutachten und frei laufen. In der Nähe bellen zwei Hunde wenn jemand kommt. Uns hat es kaum gestört. Im Ferienhaus selber war alles Notwendige vorhanden. Besonders gut hat uns der Lavendelduft in der Unterkunft gefallen. Wir werden bestimmt einmal wiederkommen!

Beautiful Location in the hills of Tuscany

This charming farmhouse made our stay in the Tuscan region perfect. While we never met the host, they were very easy to communicate with and responded quickly. The farm and area is beautiful! We rented a car and did day trips to Montepulciano, Siena, Volterra, Lucca and Cinque Terre. The house is also convenient to the local town. We found excellent restaurants and also bought groceries at the Coop. Would highly recommend staying here if planning a trip to this region of Italy.

Nice stay in off season

My husband and I stayed here for a few days in February. It was a nice location for day trips to Florence, Volterra, San Gimignano, and Siena. Since it was the off season, almost no shops in Castellina in Chianti were open (and very few in San Gimignano) which was fine for us. We loved a hiking trail that ran right past the property. Check in was provided by the Italian Mama, who was very helpful and sweet (no English). The place was pleasant and quiet and dark at night, great for sleeping. Lots of birds during the day. We were a little chilly in the evenings (19 C) and didn’t notice until the last day that to increase the temperature we were supposed to email the owner, so that’s on us, but I do wonder if the language barrier at check in might have prevented such useful information from being communicated. Overall a lovely visit and it is easy to recommend.

Beautiful cottage

Charming quaint cottage with everything you need to have a comfortable stay. The property contains a road way we used to walk everyday. We saw deer and a fox as well as beautiful mountain vistas. The town of Castellino is so charming with friendly people, a nice market and a couple nice restaurants. Bonus was the winery on the adjacent property. Take advantage of this lovely winery, have lunch and a tour you won’t be disappointed, make a reservation. This is also a great location to take day trips to all the Tuscan hill towns of San Gimigiano, Montepulciano, Siena and Greve. Enjoy

Beautiful farmhouse in Chianti

We had a great time staying at Castellina in Chianti. The farmhouse is well equipped, comfortable and a wonderful base to explore Tuscany. The sunsets and views were amazing. We hope to come back some day!

Amazing stay

We had a wonderful stay in this glorious Tuscan hideaway. The owners are really helpful but don’t intrude during your stay, the facilities were great - exactly as described and they provide some self-catering basics to get you started. The view and garden are to die for and the wifi was pretty good. Everything was immaculately clean and well appointed. The area is beautiful and the local village - a 5 min drive (not walkable) was a highlight. Thank you Daniele.

Perfect!

The most beautiful experience! The little house is even better than the photos! Close to the quaint village, however, it should be noted that there are no grocery markets open on Sunday so do account for that. Lovely stay that I would highly recommend!

Peaceful Tuscan Retreat

Everything about this stay and working with Daniele was wonderful! The location is serene and beautiful. Being only a few minutes from a quaint town with grocery store and delicious restaurants is also great. We found a car to be necessary since it is located in the country (although pretty close to most of the sights one would want to see in the Tuscany region). Daniele was helpful and easy to work with. We didn’t want to leave. :) thank you so much Daniele!

Farmhouse in the Chianti Region

We have stayed in vacation rentals and VRBO's all over the US and Europe and this was the absolute nicest cleanest home we have ever rented. The location in the Chianti Region was perfect and there seems to be a Winery on every corner. We loved it and hope to return

Wunderschönes Häuschen in Toller Lage

Traumhaftes Anwesen. Entspannung pur. Werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Die Gegend ist einfach Mega. Auch unsere Hunde haben sich sehr wohl gefühlt.

I'm Daniele Sandrelli the owner of the farmhouse. The villa is situated in the center of our farm. We produce saffron, wine and lavender. My family lives here since 1865, but the farmhouse was restructuring on 2005. In the past was an ancient agricultural structure building at the beginning of the 1900's. Restructuring the villa was inspired by the typical Tuscany style: stone walls, "cotto" tile floors, joists roofs and beds in wrought iron and big terrace with porch.
