*** COUNTRY HOUSE MULINELLO ***
6 p., 90 m2. The building is the result of subsequent work on the 17th century tower house. It was restored in 1990 according to the Tuscan tradition and furnished with furniture from the owner's family.
Tucked into the hillside, with perfect views across to Montepulciano, the house is set over two levels. On the ground floor, a lounge with fireplace. From here, you have access to the three bedrooms: one with a double bed, another one with 2 single beds and the third one with 2 single beds and attached shower room. Single beds can be joined. The other bathroom has a bathtub.
Wooden stairs lead to the mezzanine, where there is a large kitchen/dining room with a fireplace for barbecuing. Access to the kitchen is also through a terrace equipped with iron chairs and table.
Another terrace, shaded by a pair of old oaks, looks over the valley of Montepulciano.
Throughout, the house has period furniture from the owner's family.
The house is fully equipped for six. Drinkable water from public utility, instant hot water and central heating. Baby cots and high chairs. There are a number of sun chairs and iron made chairs and table to dine outside or stay in the garden. Stereo radio set and books. Mosquito nets to all windows. High speed WI-FI.
*** THE PLACE***
Casa MULINELLO is one of the 2 stone houses that are part of the Capanne di Sopra estate. Although close, their arrangement allows a totally autonomous use.
The site is located 1.3 km from Montefollonico and 7 km from Montepulciano, in a secluded and panoramic position, with a wide view of the Montepulciano valley, the temple of San Biagio, the summit of Monte Amiata and the hills of the Val d'Orcia .
To preserve the rural character we have chosen not to have a swimming pool.
In the property there are 4 cats, with adequate shelter, well cared for and under veterinary supervision.
About 400 meters from the provincial road, the house is accessible only through a private dirt road in an environment of peaceful Tuscan countryside, with olive groves, vineyards and woods.

*** FOR YOUR ACTIVITIES ***
You will be in the middle of a region with sites of great historical and artistic interest: Montepulciano, Pienza and the Val d'Orcia (UNESCO World Heritage List), San Quirico, Cortona, Chiusi, Monte San Sanvino, Asciano, Siena, Arezzo, Perugia, and Lake Trasimeno. Everyone is within an hour and a half of driving, at most.
The closest thermal baths and spas are in S. Albino (7 km), Sarteano (15 km), Bagno Vignoni (16 km), Bagni San Filippo (20 km), Rapolano (20 km). In no more than half an hour's drive you will find public swimming pools in Montepulciano Stazione, S. Albino, Bettolle, Trequanda, Chianciano, Sarteano.
