Kingsize Master plus 2 Zweibettzimmer, die auf 2 x Superkingsize umgestellt werden können. Badezimmer sowie ein separates Duschbad. {Betten für alle, keine umklappbaren Liegen.} Neue, voll ausgestattete Küche mit einem gemütlichen Wohnzimmer mit Essbereich und einer Steinmauer mit Kamin. Lovely Christmas away

Family getaway

Lovely house to stay for a big family , everything you need in the property and more . Great outdoor area for relaxing and for little ones to play . Area good and quiet not far from the town and shops and there are takeaways across the road . Within easy reach of many holiday favourites beaches , parks , castles etc there is great selection of leaflets for ideas . We would return in the future . Thank you Diane for hosting us .

Lovely cottage with close access to all the main sight seeing spots

Lovely cottage well equipped with all amenities you need for a home away from home . The guest was very proactive and comms were brilliant prior to our arrival and during our stay. The cottage is located close to the major sight seeing spots all within 30 min driving distance - four falls trek , Cardiff , caves etc . Nice hot tub to top off the lovely stay :)

We stayed here with another 3 friends. On arrival we were met by Di & Bill. Great hosts and very friendly and approachable. Loads of information about places to visit etc. Very clean and tidy and the hot tub was a bonus. Beds were really comfy. Locals were very friendly. Would definitely go back.

Warm welcome by Diane. She explained how it all worked. Beds very comfy. Very clean too. Shower hot. Hot tub fantastic. Quiet during night but really did not notice as shattered after full days out. Chinese across the rd brilliant too.

New Years Break

We arrived and was welcomed by a very lovely friendly host called Diane. The house was decorated up for Christmas and was so cosy and welcoming. Diane was so knowledgeable about the area and there were loads of leaflets about local restaurants and takeaways along with local attractions. Beautiful place

Everything was perfect from beginning where we had everything explained by lovely host until the very last day. We enjoyed spending time in the cottage and will highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a nice place to stay in Brecon Beacons area. Great base for exploring, but same time it feels like home. It was 7 of us all together and we had more than enough space. Hot tub and big outdoor play area is a big bonus. Lovely, lovely place. Amazing

Well what can I say. Me n 6 other friends stayed here and it really is home from home. In easy reach for bike park wales and afan which was great for us very keen riders. Diana could not do enough for us she was really helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Hot tub was great after a long days ride and a friend sausages were lovely. Cannot recommend enough. Birthday happiness

We booked the cottage for a long weekend celebrating my birthday. Upon arrival we were met by Diane and her husband who helped us unload the car. That immediately gave us a warm impression about our host. The property was in immaculate condition, clean and decorated ready for Christmas. We enjoyed our stay using the hot tub and barbecue for birthday celebrations. I would recommend staying at the cottage, ideal for families because of the large spaced rooms and local facilities. Look forward to returning in the future

The property is beautiful and well equipped with anything you could need.

The property is spectacular and has an amzazing yard with all of the amenities. We very much enjoyed the hot tub, the bbq, the protected play park where the kids could play as long as they wanted as it had lights. We were so impressed with Diane. She made the trip for us and was so engaged in helping and ensuring that we had an incredible time and maximized our experience. She is kind and charming. We forgot a jacket and she helped ensure that it was posted to us. The house was roomy and well equipped and beds were comfortable. I definitely recommend Wales and this property.

Fabulous house

Great place with everything you would ever need in a great location to so many brilliant places to visit. Diane was so helpful and friendly and immediately make you feel at home there. Hot tub was so good to come back to after a long day walking around the many places to visit. there really are too many to mention but the Big Pit underground tour and the showcaves were something else. Did the clay pigeon shooting, really fun as we've never done that before but there was no longer 50 shots as originally told but only 25. But still a great activity and would do it again. Overall a great holiday in a lovely house and would love to come back sometime

Fabulously quirky haven with a big personality.

Out family of 4 had a throughly enjoyable break at this delightful, well equipped house. The rear outside space was so considerately designed, with total privacy. The wonderful hot tub was perfect for relaxing after long walks in the fantastic Brecon Beacons, and surrounding countryside. We came for the waterfalls and they didn’t disappoint, neither did the caves/dinosaurs/Shire horse excursion which proved to be another favourite day out. Our base was in such a good location to access so much of what this part of Wales has to offer. Diane, our amazing host, ensured we were well settled in, and couldn’t have been more welcoming. Her top tips of things to see and places to go, were most helpful. I would stress, particularly in the current climate, that tourist attractions need to be booked as far in advance as possible in order to ensure access. We missed out on some activities as there was no availability by the time we came to book. Entirely our fault! That said, there was still plenty to do, and sometimes all we wanted to do was to stay in and enjoy some quality family time.

Great little break

Great service from the landlady, she was very warm, welcoming and lovely, made sure we had milk, tea and coffees upon arrival. The house had plenty of activities and games for adults and kids and the kids park is bigger than the picture shows, in fact the garden in general was a very generous space with all you would need including a top notch Hot tub. There isn't on site parking but there is free street parking litterally across the road 5 seconds from the front gate which we never struggled to find a space in. Overall I thought this place was perfect for what we needed (family break with kids) for its closeness to local amenities and natural parks and I would recommend and come back again. If we were to be overly critical (and not to take anything away from a great stay), I would say that the bed in the masters was very very noisy, im a light sleeper see.. So any slight bit of movement and the bed squeals. My wife slept through so can't be that bad I suppose? Many thanks for having us.

Great property for family gathering

This property is a bit of a tardis, larger on the inside. Great courtyard garden with seating and hot tub. Bedrooms spacious and over 2 floors. Lovely bathrooms. We were on the top floor and there was a bit of noise from the road and village hall but still slept ok. Well placed for zip world, Caerphilly and the coast. We had a great stay.

South Wales Homes has been renting private homes since 2000. 266 is our first Holiday Cottage venture. We have done our utmost to make this cottage a Haven for your enjoyment. We have been extremely privileged to have lived in this area most of our lives to enjoy the mountains and scenery and the many places to visit which are all close at hand. We live locally, and will always be accessible. We all speak English, but one of our team can converse in Turkish.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

266 captured our hearts the first time we walked through the door. The charming wood beams, the stone wall and the old stone staircase to upstairs. This cottage was different, and we fell in love with it straight away. Since purchase we have completed many renovations, including new wood staircases, but retaining the 'olde worlde' stone staircase, although you can't use it. We're sure 266 will capture your heart as it did ours.

Once you go through the front porch you leave the rest of the world behind. Yet you're only minutes away from any amenity you could need. Light the log fire, jump in the hot tub, get in a takeaway and a bottle of something nice!!! oh!!! Sheer bliss
