Camp Helen State Park is adjacent to the property and offers protected natural beaches and the opportunity to rent kayaks or paddle boards and explore the amazing dune lakes. You can also walk right into the neighboring resort town of Carillon Beach, with beautiful homes, shops, and restaurants.

Other communities share their ‘beachy’ magnificence with gorgeous state parks, coastal dune lakes, and the occasional winding boardwalk, meandering just above a hilly dune.

Keep exploring! There's a total of 15 dune lakes along 30A. Point Washington State Forest, with 15,000 acres, has miles of walking trails waiting to be discovered. You won’t regret renting a stand-up paddleboard. Crossing a lake to get to the gulf waters is easier than you think.
