Diese zwei Schlafzimmer, zwei Bäder Strandhaus wurde 2011 renoviert, drei Jahre nach Hurrikan Ike machte in Galveston Landfall. Das Haus ist ideal für eine kleine Familie, tierfreundlich mit einem großen Wrap-around-Deck. Das Hotel liegt in Palm Beach, eine Meile zu Fuß oder fahren nach Galveston Island State Park, und 7 Meilen zu Walmart, Moody Gardens und Schlitterbahn.

Take Sonnenuntergang Spaziergänge am privaten und sauberen Strand, wo Fahrzeuge sind nicht gestattet. Eine riesige Terrasse zur Verfügung, um die Meeresbrise zu genießen, haben einen Grill mit Freunden und Familie oder einfach nur genießen Sie einen vollen Blick auf das Meer. Das Strandhaus ist Ihr perfekter Strand zu gelangen, einen Weg.

Der Wohnbereich ist mit einem dekorativen Kamin, TV und DVD-Player ausgestattet. Zwei Schlafzimmer hat ein Queen-Size-Bett mit einem Etagenbett und ein herausgezogen Bett in einem offenen Bereich direkt vor den Schlafzimmern.

Das Haus befindet sich in einer ruhigen Gegend am westlichen Ende von Galveston Island auf der Strandseite. Der breite Sandstrand ist ideal für Kinder, um am Strand zu spielen, Drachen steigen zu lassen oder einfach nur Spaß am Sand zu haben, und für Erwachsene zum langen Strandspaziergang

We had a great long weekend at the beach and loved staying at this house! It was close to everything we did and was about a 30 second walk to the beach. Everything was great and the hosts were very trusting which I like! We will definitely be back!

Great family vacation

This property is absolutely perfect! The owners did a great job communicating when I noticed a small problem, the house was very clean, spacious, and comfortable! We will definitely be back!!! 1 warning is the mosquitoes are absolutely horrible when you are on the ground so bring spray.

Perfect location! Great getaway

Our family has traveled to Galveston numerous times. A must have for this trip was to have an amazing view of the Gulf with easy access to the beach. This place met this and much more! STEPS from the beach. Amazing views. Comfortable and cozy home. All we needed to getaway and spend downtime with our family. This is perfect for families as you can go back and forth to the beach without ALL the hassle! And no crowded beach! Such a great getaway and just what our spirits needed!

Wonderful place

We had a great time at this property. The location is perfect, very close to the beach, takes 45 seconds to get on the sand. The deck is huge with wonderful beach view. The house was clean and well maintained, we had everything we needed. The area with trundle bed was great, it serves as extra room for kids. The communication with the owner was extremely easy. We hope to be back again!

Excellent location, perfect for a family trip

I stayed here with my husband, 2 kids and mother in law over the 4th of July. The pictures don’t do the house justice! It’s clean, bright, very functional and in an outstanding location for a family trip on the beach. It’s a bit of a drive to the more touristy part of Galveston, with Moody Gardens, Seawall, pleasure pier, etc but it was perfect for what we wanted, which was a quiet, safe area close to the beach. The deck is incredible, breezy, and comfortable. The owner was quick to respond to questions leading up to the trip. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Just perfect

This is our second time to stay at this property and we love it. The house isn't huge, but it's got fantastic views and is only 1 house away from the beach. The porch is gigantic and everything is well-maintained. We hope to be back again!

Amazing views

Let me start by saying, the views are AMAZING! The deck is huge and was enjoyed so much while drinking our morning coffee. The house needs some work/updating and a deep clean. There is only one closet in the whole house and it isn’t the master, which was a little odd. It worked for just the 2 of us though. Overall, we enjoyed the stay and the stunning views from the deck.

Close to beach

Great location and a beautiful deck with nice view. You are just one house away from the beach, but still have a view! For families, there is no bathtub and the bunk beds aren't in a room - so your kids may wake early. Owners are very responsive.

Another year, another wonderful stay

I’ve written about this property several times so I’ll make this one brief. The proximity to the water, the cleanliness and home like feel of the property and the the host’s hospitality always make this trip a must to begin our fall. This is our 4th year staying at Palm Beach and we always come away with smiles on our faces and slight sunburns. Highly recommend for families with little kids as proximity to the beach makes for an easy walk and a quick trip back to the house for diaper blow outs or to grab a quick snack. We plan to make next year, year number five here!

The property is a very short walk right up to the beach, which is great. The porch was nice and big. We could see and hear the beach from the porch. The size was perfect for 2 couples, and it was nice to bring my little puppy along. The place was nice and clean. The only reason it is not 5 stars is because the fridge and freezer smelled strongly of fish, and the smaller bathroom was making all sorts of noises. It would be awesome to add some more board games and movies as well (just a thought). Overall it was great, and I would definitely go back.

GREAT beachfront home, SUPER service!!

We rented this quaint beach house for a family vacation with small children, and had such a wonderful time! It is located close to the fun of the strand without being right downtown. An easy drive to just about anywhere.The owner of the house was very friendly and easy to communicate with. She really went out of her way to make sure that we had a great time and had everything that we needed. The view from the porch was fantastic, and we had a cooling sea breeze all the time. The house had all of the ammenitites that you could need. We had a fabulous time while we were there, and would definately go back again.

Enjoyed the house with wonderful beach views!

The house was great with wonderful views of the beach. Very close to the ocean and it took us about 45 seconds to get to the sand. The house is suited for a small family. Washer and Dryer are located in the hallway and you definitely need to run the laundry during the day as it will be too loud at night. TV & internet service was great. Quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay very much. Communication with the owner was easy and fast. No problems. We plan on coming back.

Great family get-away!!

My wife and I took our 2 kids for week stay and had a blast. When we first arrived, we had a small problem. I contacted Tanya and she immediately fixed it. The home is very nice and the views are great. we loved the giant deck, and spent most of our time there. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything that we needed to prepare some great meals. It was really nice to have a convenience store, liquor store and fish market less than 5 minutes away. Having the outdoor shower downstairs was great, most of the others around us only had a hose with cold water. My boys had a great time on the beach and both were glad that WiFi was offered. We did not want to leave, and I am sure that we will be back.

Some issues

We had a nice time and especially appreciated the beach views and super close proximity to the beach. There were a number of issues however: the key code provided was incorrect and we had to call for the right number. The “bunk room” did not have three twin beds as advertised— only one twin with a trundle and was not even a proper room as it had no door. The light in that “room” would not turn on without also turning on the fan at high speed. The microwave started sparking when we turned it on, creating a fire hazard. The main front burner of the stove did not work, and there was no toaster oven despite the check out instructions saying to unplug the toaster oven. While the house was clean, it smelled somewhat of pesticide throughout. We had a good time at the beach despite all of these unexpected findings.

Another one for the books

This is our third time staying at Matthew and Tanya’s beach house. We continue to come back because the property is clean, the location is amazing, and home is wonderful. The house is 100 yards from the water, the views are spectacular and it accommodates our family of 5 with no problem. The owners are continually updating the property (new couch, new fridge, new king bed and new paint job on the exterior) and the home is warm and inviting. We love staying here! Thank you Matthew and Tanya!

We bought this house shortly after Hurricane IKE in 2009. The construction project to renovate this house was long and costly but we absolutely fell in love with our new beach house and would do it again. The neighborhood is quiet and a perfect place to get away from it all.

Why did we buy this house? Our initial intention was to help rebuild Galveston after the devastation of Hurricane IKE. The spontaneous decision transformed into a lot of hard work of clean ups, restorations, and rebuildings.
