Dieses schöne 2-Zimmer Wohnung in einem historischen Haus aus dem frühen 18. Jahrhundert ist komfortabel und hell mit einer neuen Küche und 300 Jahre alten Holzvertäfelungen und originalen Fußböden.
Es wird in Soho in das pulsierende Herz von London blühenden Theater-, Einkaufs- und Restaurant-Viertel.
Bedeutende Museen, Kunstgalerien, Parks, Buckingham Palace, die South Bank, Dutzende von Theatern, Kinos und alle Einkaufsmöglichkeiten von Bond Street, Oxford Street und Covent Garden sind innerhalb von fünfzehn leicht zu Fuß Minuten von der Haustür.
Der Rest von London ist leicht zugänglich durch drei nahezu der U-Bahn Stationen (Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Square und Tottenham Court Road) und zahlreiche Busse.
Die Wohnung befindet sich im dritten Stock eines historischen (circa 1700) Queen Anne Haus in Soho. Es ist neu zu einem hohen Standard renoviert und verfügt über original Anfang des 18. Jahrhunderts Verkleidung in allen Zimmern.
Kostenloser WiFi-Anschluss ist über das Flach engagiertes Breitband-Service zur Verfügung.
Das geräumige Wohnzimmer enthält einen großen Schlafsofa, ein 32 '' Flachbild-TV und einen Essbereich mit Tisch und Stühlen 4 sitzen.
Die große Küche hat neue Geräte und Geräte wie Waschmaschine, Geschirrspüler, doppelter Höhe Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach, Elektroherd und Gasherd.
Die beiden Schlafzimmer sind luftig und hell und jeweils mit einem Doppelbett (eines davon ist etwas kleiner als ein Standard-Doppelbett).
NB: Das Bad enthält eine Badewanne und WC ist sehr kompakt. Es gibt eine separate Dusche hinter der Verkleidung in einem der Schlafzimmer versteckt.

Die Wohnung ist eingerichtet mit einer Mischung aus antiken und modernen Möbeln und verfügt über schöne poliert original Holzböden mit orientalischen und modernen Teppichen.

Soho ist eine lebendige Gegend am Abend, aber unsere Straße ist relativ ruhig, da die Wohnung ist.
Wenn Sie hier wohnen, können Sie eine luxuriöse Unterkunft genießen, während Sie das "Dorf" erleben, das das Zentrum dieser großartigen Stadt ist.

In the middle of London

Communication with the host was easy via WhatsApp. She was accomodating. The location is excellent on the edge of Soho and therefore it might be a little bit noisy at weekends. Underground stations might be reached within app. 5 min. walking, th buses in app. 2 min. Picadilly Circus, Trafalgar square, covent garden, British Museum, Regent Street an Oxford Street are in walking distance - even for elderly people

perfect location

We had a great time in London and loved this cosy flat. It is very central and many sights are in walking distance. The tube stations Leichester Square and Tottenham Court Road are very close. We enjoyed having our own kitchen and a supermarktet just around the courner. That saved us a lot of money. We knew beforehand that the flat is on the third floor and that the bathroom can only be reached via a steep staircase. This was not an issue for us. We also liked the lively neighborhood and had no problem with it being a bit noisy at night.

Nice flat in a central and vivid location

We enjoyed our 4 day stay in London at this apartment very much. The location is fantastic: close to the tube, many restaurants and cafés nearby. But, being in the 3rd floor, the apartment itself is quiet. The house itself is 300 years old and there is a beautiful wooden floor giving the apartment.a charming flair. You find everything you need in the fully equipped kitchen. The only thing to consider is that the apartment is not suited to elderly guests as the bathroom is only accessible via a small staircase.

Stilvolle Unterkunft in idealer Lokation

Wir waren zu viert in diesem Apartment und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. 2 Schlafzimmer und die Möglichkeit, das Sofa im Wohnzimmer als Doppelbett zu benützen. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Netterweise auch Tee, Kaffee, Kakao, Spülmaschinentabs....und alles für das erste Frühstück. Danke! Sehr freundlicher Empfang von Flora. Gepäck konnte sowohl bei Ankunft als auch Abfahrt untergestellt werden. Das Haus liegt im quirligen Soho und grenzt an die Chinatown. Theater sind fußläufig erreichbar, "Harry Potter and the cursed child" ganz nah. Wir haben reduzierte Tickets für den gleichen Tag in der Ticketbox bekommen, obwohl die Vorstellung die nächsten11 Monate ausverkauft ist. Metrostation etwa 5 Minuten entfernt (Picadilly Line), aber man kann wirklich sehr viel zu Fuß in der Umgebung entdecken, Picadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square und viele Museen und Einkaufsmöglichkeite. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen!

Location, Location, Location...

We absolutely loved this flat in the center of EVERYTHING in London. We were able to walk to countless theaters, restaurants, museums and shopping. The flat is very historic and really made us feel like we were IN London. It was very clean and everything was in good working order. The location was very safe and secure. The beds were very comfortable. The hosts were very responsive from easy check-in to helping out with some great suggestions. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to our family and friends.

Great Central Location

As a family, we like to travel with separate bedrooms, kitchen and family room. This place fit our needs perfectly and was located centrally so we could walk to all the sites. Our hosts, Jane and William, were very kind and helpful and had some great suggestions on things to see from a locals perspective. Our only complaint was that the neighborhood is quite noisy at night but the rental did supply ear plugs that were needed!

60th Birthday Bash with the Girls!

The property was perfectly located in the SOHO district. There was a lot of action, food, and especially close to anything we wanted to do. We walked, walked and walked some more. When we ventured out, the Underground railway was easy to get to and easy to navigate. The hostess, Jane was very welcoming and available if we needed her. Got a great tip on getting theater tickets at a very reasonable rate.

Location, location, location!

Jane and William are wonderful hosts, very responsive and always wanting help out. We arrived early and jet lagged before the flat was ready and they allowed us to rest in the empty flat downstairs. I cannot overstate how perfect the location of the flat is; minutes away from two different tube lines, bus stops, China town, theatres, jazz clubs, restaurants, etc… And with such a fantastic public transit system, it is easy to get anywhere in London. We did have issues with the Wifi which didn’t seem to work very well, and there it can get a little noisy at night. Finally, we had an unfortunate issue where the hot water boiler broke down. But Jane and William were very receptive, and allowed us to use the hot water of the empty flat downstairs. I always ask myself if I would stay at a place if I were to return; my answer is yes.

Soho is an active area

Even though we knew about the stairs it was a big hike up to the home and then to use the toilet. I called it hiking up Mt Everest, exaggeration, but it sure was a hike in the middle of the night. It was a very small, old, and no air conditioning, tiny shower, toilet was tight, no mirror to dry hair because the plugs are only for shavers, so would not rent again. The location is very noisy at night when you need to keep the windows open to cool the home down. Many restaurants on the street, and garbage pickup twice a day was loud. Easy to navigate the area, the location for dining, groceries, and train was good. William the owner was able to be contacted when we needed him. Helps that he lives in the building.

Our stay was fab!

The location of this unit is absolutely superb! We could explore this vibrant neighborhood, walk to so many locations, and two tube stops led to easy travel around the whole city. The Fergusons were outstanding hosts. They were so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We found the beds to be comfortable and the kitchen just what we needed. You won’t regret a stay here!

Great location

My daughter and I had some theatre shows booked and were looking for a central location and this flat couldn't have been any more central. It is a wonderful flat full of character, we especially loved the wood flooring and lovely big windows. There was a beautiful vase of yellow roses on the table which was a lovely touch. Also the milk and water in the fridge was a kind gesture even if we didn't use them. Jane's dad greeted us and gave us some great advise as to what to do and see and we appreciate that. The stairs are a bit tough after a long day on your feet and it can be noisy but other than that it's a wonderful place to stay for a theatre trip to London.

Wonderful stay

We had a great stay. Absolutely terrific location in Soho. Tons of restaurants/pubs within a block or two radius, major West End shows and attractions (British Museum, Covent Garden, etc) within a few minutes' walk. Historic building - amazing location!

Checking and and communication was extremely easy, Jane was top notch in making sure we had everything we needed. The flat is really cool, 1800s with a ton of charm. The location is perfect as you don’t even need to take the tube to see many of the things in London… Trafalgar, Westminster, Buckingham, London Eye are all within a 20 min walk with much to see along the way. Highly recommend this VRBO.

Wonderful Location, Charming Flat, Friendly Hosts!

We loved our stay at this property! It's is perfectly located in Soho, so close to several Tube stations, great restaurants, and amazing West End shows. The property is historic, charming, and comfortable. Soho can be a bit noisy, but we didn't have an issue with this, as the property is on a quieter sleep and on a higher floor. There is not lift, so be aware of that, but honestly, this wasn't a problem and well worth the opportunity to stay in such a great location. The hosts were also wonderfully available, welcoming, and a delight to talk to!

Charming Property in the Heart of London

My mother and I had a fantastic stay at Jane's charming flat. Jane was flexible and accommodating as a host, and the apartment is right in the heart of London. As other reviewers have said, definitely bring earplugs as the street noise is very loud on weekends. The stairs to the bathroom were steep, but my 65-year-old mother was fine navigating them (that said, anyone with mobility issues would have a difficult time). Thank you!

Wonderful visit in Soho

We had a great stay. Flat was clean, comfortable, exactly as described. Jane was a wonderful host, she was super communicative, friendly and helpful. It's a quirky and charming space, my teenage daughter and I were very comfortable there. The space had everything we needed, and is very centrally located. Easy walking distance to multiple tube and bus stations, and many attractions. Our first day we walked Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar Square, for example. If you're not used to a busy urban street at night, you may want to bring ear plugs. Would definitely stay here again!
