Great place with great views!

This hotel is lovely and the room is perfect! Great size with all the things you could need. Our only issue was the neighbouring room doors were quiet loud and woke us up a few times in the night but overall a great place for the price.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, Expedia and Zello. Terrible. A lot of hidden fees. No toilet paper. You pay for extra towel and parking lot and resort fee. Definitely not coming back here.

Good hotel provided you don’t get rm ending in 01

Pros -lobby, pool, weight room -Starbucks on site -close to shopping & conference centre -staff were friendly Cons -noisy - room was behind elevators, up to 50dB all night long from elevators moving up and down. Complained about it but they couldn’t move us. Stay away from any room ending in ‘01’ regardless of floor. -communication - everything was through email, they were relatively quick to respond unless it was something they couldn’t solve like moving us to a different room because of the noise, in that case they didn’t respond until the next day -no hot tub

the hotel is nice. What they called condo was just a small hotel room nothing more. it was clean and comfortable. the view was nice. The location was good. Close to everything Waikiki. Some concerns. The TV remote didn’t work. reported but never got anyone to address issue. 2 rolls of TP for the week and 3 towels each. We had to buy TP. Paid for late check out but got locked out anyway. my contact was responsive to most issues . despite the issues I would stay here again.

I booked thru third party from Hotel.com. which have different set of rules and policy . Hotel.com policy do not apply here. Ala Moana Hotel carry no control of Condo booking policy. Sample : 10am checkout, no daily room cleaning service.no inroom safe, toilet paper and towels are liimited. More hidden fee like checkin fee. If you are okay with my problem , go ahead and book it. Once you book your reservation, you think you’ve paid everything but nope. Day before check in, email is sent about hotel fees. Hotel fees include a daily charge for “hotel service fee” but when I call hotel for trash service or any maintenance, they said people who rent from Zello do not get access to hotel services. When I inquired about what I am paying a service fee for if not service, front desk said “for check in and check out”. That is something they help with once each yet I am required to pay a service fee for every day I stay at the hotel (6 days total). Ridiculous pricing and lack of communication.

I would give the hotel a solid three stars. As for Orgoto, don’t expect to get a response from them if you need anything. I would recommend booking the hotel directly. You will have housekeeping as well as help from the front desk.

Fees, fees, fees and more fees.

Paid for reservation on hotels.com which included a "Property fee" but when you get there there are several other fees. I couldn't cancel because these fees were completely unexpected. You then do not get any sort of hotel service yet you see all the other rooms around you get service. Any service needed, you have to request from the owner. Shower head was full of calcium. Drains were clogged, both sink and bathtub so water took forever to drain. The batteries in the remote were bad so changing channel, volume, turning off wasn't convenient when I would get a phone call and needed to mute right away. I only had one roll of toilet paper, after a week stay, I was out by day 5, especially because it was one ply cheap horrible paper. Laundry facility was 2 washers and 2 dryers for a hotel of hundreds of rooms. Good luck getting one. No quarter machine either so I had to find laundry facility elsewhere. I really would appreciate fresh towels and fresh bedsheets at least once during a week stay. All these I was told to request from owner to ask. I tried through Hotels.com and got no answer on day one, so I didn't try again. I used plunger to deal with slow drains and it helped a little. Seems previous visitors wash their beach items so it was a bunch of sand, but built over time. I bought my own toilet paper. Very disappointed and feel I got scammed with those fees. Never coming back.

This 3rd party company used by Hotels.com is not responding to my communications regarding being overcharged. I need to get money back from them for being overcharged. The hotel is good but the room we get has to many problems on the bathroom, The shower is very small and with very little water pressure it is very difficult to take showers, the sink was plugged and they took more the two days to fix it. we found out have cockroaches. The fridge was not working good. They don’t have service of recollection of garbage so we have to take care of it

We rented through Expedia as a package deal. Upon checkin we were told by staff that this was third party and as such there would be no housekeeping, additional towels or any services provided to us. The facility is old and run down. There are 2 floors with laundry services but the laundry on floor 3 had broken down washers for the entire week stay. There is a large homeless population surrounding the facility and they just set up tents and pee all over the sidewalks. Oh and dont even think about using their phones- papers in the rooms say even local calls are charged at $0.75 each. Get real. Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere!

When I arrived, they told me that my booking was reserved by Expedia for 4 May and not the third. Then the front desk advised that this was a privately owned condo and not part of the Alamoana hotel subsequently we would not have access to towels and bedding changes And other necessities like toilet paper. This had not been understood by me and do not recall anything about this being not part of the hotel when I rented the third through 5 May for a holiday for my wife and myself. The receptionist was very good and so was the staff at the hotel, but both my wife and I felt it very strange that the accommodation was not part of Ala Moana hotel.

I would have rather booked through the hotel

The room is right next to the elevator shaft, so if you’re a light sleeper this will keep you up all night. The room has no extra toiletries and because it’s a privately owned condo inside of the main hotel the hotel housekeeping will not service the room in anyway, which also means there is no daily cleaning. The property manager messaged frequently enough but never communicated that there wayany additional resort costs. The booking says that resort costs are not included but at no point were any specifics communicated to me. The benefits to it being privately owned are that they provided nicer glasses and utensils.
