Το Virginia Barn με 2 x Kingsize, 1 μικρό δίκλινο δωμάτιο και 1 δωμάτιο δωματίων xTwin και 3 μπάνια προσφέρει καταλύματα 5 αστέρων με δυνατότητα προετοιμασίας γευμάτων σε ιδιωτικό και ρουστίκ περιβάλλον. Απέναντι από τον αυτοκινητόδρομο Blo Norton Hall, αυτή η ευρύχωρη μετατροπή του αχυρώνα έχει σχεδιαστεί και ανακαινιστεί με εξειδίκευση. Παρέχει επίσης άνετο χώρο στάθμευσης και είναι εξαιρετικά εξοπλισμένο, περιλαμβάνει ένα άνετο και κομψό σαλόνι, κομψό εστιατόριο και παιδικό πιάνο. Birthday getaway!

Wonderful barn in a beautiful location. Just what we needed to celebrate my wife’s 49th Birthday! Spacious lounge and lovely bedrooms. Surrounding grounds are lovely and would recommend a walk at the local nature reserve. Would definitely recommend this property for a relaxing getaway.

Memorable Stay

We visited for a 2 night stay in mid November. This is a lovely property and very cosy for a barn conversion. We found every thing we needed for our stay and the internal lay out was ideal for our party. The local area is very pretty and there are plenty of attractions close by. We would definitely visit again.

Great place to stay

The property is well presented and furnished; we had a great weekend, enhanced by very warm weather. The location is good to visit nearby attractions, although we spent most of the time relaxing in the very peaceful surroundings. The property was very clean and tidy and the accommodation provides good en-suites for two bedrooms, and a bathroom for the other two bedrooms. Everything was as we expected and if I had to find a desired improvement then some nice relaxing chairs for the garden would be great. Thanks for an excellent week-end.

Family gathering for family wedding

I stayed with my husband, our three adult children and our daughter-in-law. It was very special to spend time together. The grand piano was much used as we all play and one daughter and my husband were performing at my niece's wedding (the next day). Absolutely perfect environment for us as a family. We loved it!

A lovely break away

The barn was just as described and as per the pictures. A lovely place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Sue was great with communicating with me prior to our arrival and it was really easy to get the keys to the property. We booked Virginia for the week and Duleep Singh for a few of the group who were only able to join for the weekend and both barns were equipped with everything we needed. Thank you!

A great way to bring in the New Year

We arrived on New Years Eve to find the large open area of the barn, warm and welcoming. Everything was exactly as expected, if not more. The accommodation has everything you would ever need to make your stay very pleasant. Sue was also very helpful with answers to my questions on the lead up, which also helped set our expectations. Overall a very chilled and relaxing stay away from the hustle and bustle of day to day life.

Family gathering

Great location and plenty of space. Visually a lovely sitting room with huge vaulted ceiling but furnishings and rugs very tired. A few issues with showers but I’m sure they will be resolved. As a family place to meet and celebrate a birthday it was wonderful.

Fabulous family getaway

We stayed at Virginia Barn for 5 nights with our children and grandchildren. The barn is beautiful and the setting is peaceful and relaxing. We wandered down to the well kept tennis court and knocked a few balls around between us. In the field next door the cows were grazing in the late autumn sunshine and had 5 new calfs among them. We had good weather for the whole five days and didn't need to use the woodburner. The barn had everything we needed to make home cooked meals. One of the days we went to Thetford Forest Lodge, a great day out for everyone (we all had a play on the the play area!). We took games and our old playstations (1 and 2) to relive reliving our days of playing guitar hero and the dance mat! We walked to the Fox and the Vine pubs on different days for a quick pint with the locals who were all very friendly. It was a shame to leave today, we all had such a great time. I would definitely recommend Virginia barn if you're looking for a relaxing getaway.

very lovely barn at a peaceful location. The log burner was a special touch. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen. If you’re not a fan of spiders i wouldn’t advise. Lots of cobwebs everywhere and flies. Overall we had a lovely couple of days here.

A short stay in the countryside

A relaxing three days

We had lovely time in Virginia Barn. The property was very clean and had everything what we need. Ours children spent lots of time outside to play football and badminton. We went for a walk around. We had only issue with internet, on Tuesday we had wifi for an hour. I can fully recommend this property really nice place.

How to live like a lord

Lording it up in this fabulous old 16th century Manor, yes the garden has a few mole hills which we understand is all to be transformed this summer and the house inside is full of old antique furniture but it has so much character and charm. There was 20 of us and 4 kids rattling around in a house that you still managed to lose each other, you had room to escape and so did the kids. Will definitely return and for the price you will find it really hard to find the equivalent of, the owner of this fab house gives people like me from normal working background to enjoy.

Beautiful and spacious converted barn in lovely surroundings

We used this as an opportunity for our dispersed family to meet up and enjoy some time together. The barn was lovely, well equipped, and easily spacious enough for 8 people. We would thoroughly recommend it.

Fantastic Virginia Barn

So much room to spread ourselves about [6 adults and 2 children]. Peaceful and relaxing. Everything we needed. If we were going that way again, we'd use Virginia Barn One more thing- when my son rang the emergency number, because we'd used too much hot water, it was sorted out straight away and very friendly. ps Just one small niggle, it would've been useful to know that the internet is intermittent!

Hi my name is Sue MCgrath and I have been managing Blo Norton Hall and the Barns since its purchase in 2009 where they were refurbished and brought to life. With such a beautiful property my job is very easy, we love to rent it out so you and your families can enjoy the house for the many different events you would like to hold with a large group of people. Its great for Anniversary celebrations, catching up with old friends, Wedding receptions as you can put a marque up in the garden, families with children of all ages as they love hunting around in the gardens playing hide n seek and finding the secret play area in the woods. My staff and I also love to stay here as well as work here, its a very special place.

Blo Norton Hall and the barns are not modern, does not have great Wi-FI, you cant get a phone signal, the furniture is antique and the floors uneven but what it lacks in Hotel sophistication it makes up for with character and it has bundles of it! I love it for its quirkiness and when children arrive their faces light up, for they see how great hide and seek is going to be. Its very special to me and the staff and I am sure it will become to you, some of our guests have been returning year after year, it grows on you.

The house and barns is about coming together and celebrating family and friend events. You will find yourselves talking because we do not have Hi tech equipment or X boxes, the phones don't work very well so you find communication becomes key, even the kids join in! We are not one of these places who hike up all the bank holiday rates, we have 3 rates and pass the discounts on to everyone, so you pay a low rate Jan - July, that's right no increase for Easter or May bank holidays, there's a summer rate and of course Christmas and New year.
