Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate. Welcome pack. Enclosed back garden with garden furniture. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. Standing in peaceful countryside within the heart of the Norfolk Broads National Park, you’ll find this semi-detached cottage. Neighbouring the owner’s home, it enjoys its own private enclosed lawn garden. Be sure to bring walking boots since there are excellent walks and good cycle routes available from the doorstep. If you fancy travelling by train, the neighbouring village of Worstead has a train station, The Bittern Line. There are four inns with restaurants, Chinese and Indian takeaways, a fish and chip shop all just a short drive from the property, so you can take a break from cooking whilst on holiday.
Wroxham, known as the capital of the Norfolk Broads, is just under 5 miles away, where day boats can be hired and trips taken to explore the miles of waterways rich with bird and wildlife. Having riverside cafés, restaurants, a garden centre, shops, a supermarket, and the model village and railway station. Wroxham Barns has craft barns, eateries, petting farm animals and play park for the children. Enjoy a trip on the Bure Valley Steam Railway, stopping at Coltishall and jumping on and off, travelling back and forth from Wroxham to the market town of Aylsham.
Excellent sandy beaches are within a 30-minute drive. Mundersley, Bacton, Happisburgh and Sea Palling all offer excellent wide sandy beaches and traditional seaside amusements and cafés. The city of Norwich is 15 miles away having cathedrals, the theatre, the castle museum, two indoor shopping centres, a market square, and a plethora of cafés and restaurants. The surrounding area has excellent birdwatching and fishing opportunities. Activities for young families include Wroxham Barns, the Dinosaur Adventure Park at Lenwade, BeWILDerwood at Horning, Banham Zoo and Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens.
