The town is within walking distance and has lots of boutiques, and for those who prefer the nightlife, there are plenty of bars, restaurants, clubs, and a casino. Scarborough benefits from two bays; the South Bay is a traditional seaside resort with donkeys, amusements, and shops, whereas the North Bay, a few minutes walk away from the house, is quieter and more relaxed. At the far end of North Bay is the Sea Life Centre where you can walk through an underwater tunnel and see the rescue seals. Halfway between the two bays, the castle stands proudly on the cliffs above. Further down the coast are Filey, Flamborough and Bridlington and up north are historic Whitby. Beach ½ mile. Pub 350 yards.
