Enclosed garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. 1 dog welcome - to be kept on a lead in adjacent fields. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: The property has a natural water supply from a well.. The Cowshed is a thatched, single-storey, detached barn conversion located in the rural Norfolk countryside. It lies just outside the village of Blofield, which is an ideal location for exploring the Norfolk Broads. Wroxham, the ’capital of the Broads’, is just 4 miles away. There are riverside cafes and inns, lots of boating activity and daily boat hire is available, enabling you to explore the Broads and see all the pretty villages and wildlife. There are a number of places to visit including Strumpshaw Fen RSPB Reserve, a delight for walkers and nature lovers, Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden, a number of National Trust properties and 3 heritage railways - North Norfolk Railway, Mid-Norfolk Railway and the Bure Valley Railway. Alternatively, spend a day in the fine city of Norwich, with its cathedrals, castle, museums, theatres and fine array of cafes and shops. Walking, birdwatching and cycling are available locally. Coarse fishing is available just ½ mile from the property (in season, licence required). Beach 15 miles. Shop ½ mile, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.
