Modern well-equipped house at 54 Banyandah St South Durras. Three bedrooms sleep seven: 2 queen beds, 3 singles, two bathrooms and washer and drier. Modern kitchen with all amenities including dishwasher, microwave and Nespresso machine, lots of crockery and quality cooking gear and pantry items e.g. coffee capsules, tea and sugar. Smart TV in living room and TV with DVD/CD player in master bedroom. Internet. Living and dining room opens onto large north-facing deck with bbq, tables seating 8+ and easy chairs overlooking back lawn and nature reserve visited by kangaroos and parrots. Two large umbrellas. Master bedroom opens onto upper balcony with view among the trees. Slow-combustion wood heater and electric heaters for winter, fans for summer. Electric blankets, dounas and blankets supplied, please bring sheets and towels. No pets because no fences. Easy 300 m walk to Cookie's beach, one of the south coast's best beaches, which is always safe for families and has a boat ramp. Weekly tariff $2300-2660 for up to seven guests during summer school holidays and Easter.

We loved the magical garden with resident wildlife.(thanks for the birdseed). The house was charming and practical, close to the beach and National Park.

Beautiful, cozy and comfortable

We loved our stay at Sunnyside. It was the perfect size for us. We had 2 kids and my mom with us. This holiday house really feels like a home. The couch was comfy, the lighting was nice, the table was big, and the DVD collection was excellent! We loved lighting fires in the woodstove, which kept the whole house toasty. The back garden is gorgeous, and we did have some luck with birds visiting. Thanks for a lovely stay. My family made some great memories here.

Great place to relax

Our visit coincided with an east coast low so we indoors more than expected. Sunnyside is comfortable and very well equipped, including a range of games and jigsaws for a rainy day. The back garden is gorgeous and we really enjoyed the native wildlife that came to visit during our stay. Highly recommended.

Nearly perfect.

Perfect in all respects -house plan, fire place!!!, setting, beach access, kitchen supplies. BUT: one of the toilets not perfectly clean. Had to wipe out the kitchen drawer before we could use it as storage for our food. BBQ was filthy so not used by us. This was very disappointing as we had definitely planned on having a BBQ.

Fantastic location and amenities

Lovely house with all that you needed for a family to stay. Wonderful location, 300 metres stroll to the beach. The new bathroom and laundry downstairs with towel warmers was fab. We also had access to two bikes, and visits from kangaroos, laurakeets and king parrots.

Refreshing

Our familly of four had a refreshing five night stay at Sunnyside. It was wonderful to hear the rolling waves in the background. Beautiful, friendly birds visited the feeders on the back deck, overlooking the delightful garden, where kangaroo families would visit at dusk. The house itself was well-presented, with plenty of room and an ambience which made for easy living. Very comfortable beds, a kitchen with everything you would need, all in a quiet, peaceful location minutes walk from the beach. Highly recommended. Thank you, Craig.

Lovely place and location. I would recommend this for a family getaway

Great place. The rooms are all very spacious, more so than the photos suggested. Great deck for relaxing and watching some local wildlife.

Well equipped house!

We had a lovely stay at Sunnyside. There were lots of birds, kangaroos and wallabies around the property, which the kids loved. The house was comfortable and had everything you could need, including a variety of games, DVDs, books and magazines. We would definitely stay there again.

Lovely sun-filled holiday house

My husband and I, along with our two daughters had a great weekend at this property. The house had everything we needed including a lovely modern kitchen. We all loved the beautiful birds who were frequent visitors to the large deck, and the pot of bird seed provided delighted the girls who were hand-feeding the parrots! Great, prompt response from Craig too. Would be very happy to stay here again

Great location and peaceful

What a great place, we really enjoyed our time here , thanks Erik. The owners were great to deal with, prompt and efficient. The place was clean and well equiped. Mostly new fittings throughout, we would stay here again.

Excellent property, a home from home

We loved our stay at South Durras Sunnyside because it was so welcoming and all the little things had been taken care of. For example, there was oil, salt and pepper in the kitchen, as well as wraps, foil, laundry thins and so on. Just ready to relax. There was also a good range of games, books and puzzles for all the kids (aged 5-17 years). Very relaxing and thoughtful holiday stay.
