A classic Georgian stay in Bath!

This hotel is so lovely, very charming with its classic decor, fitting for an evening in Bath. Hotel staff were very friendly. Hotel location is very central and convenient.

Good location, but tired and basic.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location within easy walking distance of the main train station and centre of Bath. The building is old and in need of considerable maintenance. Floors creak everywhere. Sound proofing with adjacent room was really bad (so I got to hear every word of my neighbour's conversations). Bed was old and primitive. Bathroom facilities were clean but run down (although the shower was surprisingly quick to warm up and good to use).

Short stay in Bath

Pratts Hotel is ideally situated, close to train and bus stations and the town centre. Staff were very helpful, keeping our bags while we did a hop on & off bus tour of Bath. The room was at the very top level- unfortunately no one told us of the lift so carrying bags up many stairs could have been avoided with better communication. We believe the hotel is to receive an upgrade - certainly our room's floor wasn't level and the low angled roofline can catch an unsuspecting head. Our stay was marred by two young party animals loudly carrying on , on the ledge outside our room at 3am- this was not the fault of management but it spoilt an otherwise reasonable stay in Bath.

Pratts

Great location however the hotel was really tired. The lift was old and small, the floors creaked, the beds were a bit lumpy and the rooms were furnished in 'Dead Aunty' style. All of this I could deal with but the shower was unacceptable. When we complained the response was that the hot water system couldn't cope with the number of people showering at that time. To be fair we were offered the use of a shower in another room but it made little difference. We were advised that the hotel will be undergoing renovations in the near future and if they happen it will be a great place to stay. Best check if the renovations have occurred before booking.

Pratt's Hotel in Bath

The hotel is in keeping with the style of Bath, close to the centre and, when I was there, quiet and friendly. My room was spacious, clean, warm and private. Breakfast was great as was dinner - good English fare. I would have no hesitation recommending this place for travellers seeking low cost and comfortable accommodation during their trip to Bath.

Goodbye to an old favourite

Stayed on the last night before closure for refurbishment. Staff were extremely friendly and even went out of the hotel to get me gluten free cereal and bread for breakfast as they had run out. Can't wait to see what changes occur in the proposed two year closure.

The renovations will make this hotel amazing!

The hotel had a lot of charm and history but was very tired. We found out after we booked that they were closing a week later for 18 month renovation. The staff that was left was friendly and accommodating, but it was clear the hotel was tired and ready to sleep. The location was excellent for walking, shipping, eating, and touring. Perfect for our two day trip.

Pratt's chosen as it was central to all our visifing needs. Ten minutes walk maximum to rugby stadium, new hot springs spa, old foman spa, fabulous eating venues and a sgunning range of shops

Hotel close to city centre for Christmas market

Hotel could do with some love and attention. The lift is scary!!! Appreciate it is old building so has quaint qualities We had concern over the plumbing as the cold water tap ran hot!! To the point that we scolded ourselves whilst taking showers!

Basic and tired hotel, great location

Location great,altho parking difficult. Dated and creaky ,so thankful it was just one night. Decor tired. Woken to fire alarm in morning with absolutely no organisation from staff or sight of designated fire wardens. Guests in lobby in nightware, and staff not knowing whats going on so breakfast continued to be served. Very unorganised.
