We have had two wonderful visits to Desire in Los Cabos. Both times, we had the nicest stay. My husband and I felt very comfortable and well cared for there. The food is excellent. The service quite good, too. The people who work there are so helpful and very friendly. I would go back again as soon as I could.

This was our first time at the clothing optional resort - we didn't know what to expect, but we love to have fun (to a point). Our overall experience has been awesome! Rooms are very clean, food is good (and some of it is great) but most of all it's just a fun place to be. We are in our late 20's and we found this place to be a great combination of experience ranging from relaxing hours near heated pool, to risque dances in the disco (and outfits that my girl would never wear in a local club!). What helps is this a couple's only resort, so you don't get bunch of single guys bothering your girl. There is a large Jacuzzi which was welcome for a December nights in Cabos, although during our last day in Desire for some reason it wasn't as hot as in previous nights. The food: This resort has two restaurants - Japanese and a second place witch switches cuisines each day. We weren't that impressed with the Japanese, and mostly ate at the other one. There is also lunch buffet by the pool which we really liked, and it was also opened for dinner once resort got more occupied. (we arrived several days before Christmas and it was at 40% capacity, closer to New Year it got a lot more crowded) Overall it's great place. Due to a multi-story property building next door this place will change to a topless only adult resort in Feb of 2009. Our advise is to experience Desire Los Cabos before this happens.

We had a wonderful stay at Desire, Los Cabos! The grounds are beautiful (especially at night), the room was very clean and inviting, and the staff is exceptional! Don't be intimidated by the clothing optional and "lifestyle" leanings of the resort. My girlfriend is not into the "lifestyle" nor had ever been to a clothing optional resort, but was very comfortable. She was topless within minutes of getting to the pool and and loved the whole experience. We really enjoyed the live music at the outdoor bar every in the evenings. The food was very good (except one meal at the Japanese restaurant, which was passable) and the staff was unfailingly attentive. We love the all-inclusive concept!

Nice personal. Amazing activity team. Life music often. Disco every day. Nice pool. There is no swimming in the ocean (or bay) due to strong undercurrents. But you can enjoy jumping in the waves 300 meters from the hotel. Don't go there if you are shy - clothing is optional at the pool, and the nude jacuzzi. Food is not mind-blowing but pretty much good. Hurry up to get there as the hotel will be converted to optional-topless on Feb 21 2009 and renamed to Temptation Resort

The stay did not start out too good. Our first night we were locked out of our room due to a faulty door lock. Thanks to this we lock out we did not get to the disco until pass midnight. Our second day we were greated with no AC. It took several hours befor they took care of the problem. We also had a clogged sink which was repaired quickly. I also ended up with a non functioning toilet. The handle broke off while flusing it. The food was not great but the service was outstanding. The drinks were all top shelf and the guest made is a memorable vacation.

My girlfriend and I highly recommend this resort. I have been to a fair number of all-inclusive resorts in Mexico and Jamaica and rank this resort one of best. The food at their 3 restaurants was very good. They even offer 24-hour room service at no additional charge. The rooms are nicely appointed with the sheets and towels having a very expensive feel. Their staff went out of their way to take care of every want. The only very small negative is that the beach in this area of the Baja is not safe for swimming due to the very strong currents. The beach is wide and great for walking and watching sunrises. Also the view of the beach is restricted from the resort. There is a fence separating the resort from the beach. The resort caters to the clothing optional and lifestyles groups so the fence is necessary as it is a public beach. While we took every opportunity to be naked there is no pressure to do so. Nor is there any pressure to participate in any lifestyle activities. We are already making plans to go back.

What a wonderful experience!!! This couples only resort is great for those looking for a relaxing & leisure lying naked around the pools! Yes, there are swingers staying at this hotel...but you don't need to participate to have fun. All the couples we met were very nice & down to earth. Just be yourself and enjoy the sceen and just love the one your with!!! The staff is awesome and the bartenders are pure fun!!!

We can't wait to go back. Had a great time and the staff was so friendly and helpful.
Maybe that the dinner menus change every night so you have a different variety of food to choose from. The room rates were affordable and the service was great.

We had the best time at Desire Los Cabos! The facility is absolutely gorgeous. From the moment you walk into the resort, you feel like you are on a tropical vacation. The pool areas, lounge bar, and jacuzzi are just spectacular, especially the jacuzzi area. We went for a spring break vacation and walked away feeling like we had a second honeymoon. VERY romantic!

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome and "special". We were greeted with a glass of champagne and seated in a comfy armchair during check in - (No waiting in long lines at a reception desk). The resort was compact but very nicely laid out and beautiful. The rooms were very modern with a sensual aire about them. We felt the bathroom was a little small but that was our only complaint. The staff at all the restuarants and throught the resort were very friendly and discreet. The entertainers were very energetic and full of fun and enthusiasm. The only bad thing about this resort is having to leave it to fly home. We cannot wait to book up a return visit and stay longer next time.

The service was very good from the restaurant waiting staff. However, the front desk and the people who re-fill your fridge leave much to be desired in terms of service. Hotel was relatively clean, both in the room and in the rest of the hotel. It was our first time at an clothing optional resort. We ended up getting this hotel as a last minute resort since all other hotels were booked during the holidays. We didn't participate in the same lifestyle that the other hotel guests did. However, because of the clothing-optional culture, the guests there were very friendly. The hotel decor was nice and quiant however, for a resort it was small (land-wise) and few activities/amenities. The location of the resort (Los Cabos, San Jose) was right infront of a beach. However the beach is not swimmable and always totally empty (no sun bathers). That part of the beach had too strong undercurrents and was deemed dangerous to enter. We would have to catch a $35 taxi cab to 20min drive to down town Cabos San Lucas.
