Not as described and not ok

There was a reason the main photo is of the pool (which wasn’t open by the way), the block we stayed in was horrific! Slabs of wallpaper peeling off the walls in the corridor, tan carpet that is now black and terrible lighting. Reception was a demountable block and if they don’t get your email prior, it is almost impossible to find without locals directions. Inside the apartment, their idea of renovating is a thick coat of paint which causes some cupboards not to open. Apparently some blocks have been renovated, but certainly not ours at time of visiting and we had to pay the same rates as those whose buildings that had been.

Hard to find, no communication

Whilst the apartment itself served its purpose well, there was no communication to inform us of the check in/out process. The main reception building was undergoing renovation and we had great difficulty finding the trailer that they were working from. The main number provided to speak to the main office continued to ring out. I would rather stay in a hotel or air bnb where communication and finding my room is straightforward.

Quiet location!

These apartments were in a quiet location, very accessible! However I would recommend renting a car (or prepare to send some extra money on uber/lyft). There is plenty of parking available staff were great. Rooms were huge and plenty of storage for clothes etc. Would stay here again!

Very large complex.

Without a car it is difficult to check in and out with luggage as complex is so large. We checked in late and had to move luggage quite a distance up some large hills to our room .

Family of four, 2 adults and 2 teen girls absolutely loved our apartment, it's not often you can stay somewhere with a walk in wardrobe, 2 bathrooms, lounge room, dining room and kitchen, king beds and balcony for the same price as a motel room. Great location for universal via uber and Hollywood.

Very close to Universal Studios and convenient for

We had a two bedroom apartment (which included two bathrooms)... very spacious, good facilities...except no kettle, so had to boila saucepan (there is a coffee maker). The onsite deli is useful as well....we used Uber to get around that was cheaper than the hassle of a car. It's a really big complex of 1000+ units so it is easy to get lost until you get your bearings. Parking at night can be a drama.

Poor customer focus. Lovely room.

The room was very nice. Nearly ran out of tp- they could have had an extra roll available. The parking situation is abysmal; and they were repaving while we were there- causing a bad situation to be much worse. Very few handicapped parking spots- and the location is very hilly- no assigned parking for hotel guests (this is an apartment complex- so you are competing with long term residents for parking places). When we asked where we should park during repaving, we were told to park in an lot that was several steep staircases away. I found the staff in the guest office to be insensitive and condescending. None of these conditions were disclosed when booking, so, "SURPRISE"!!! Lovely room- near my son (whom we were visiting) but... the staff was pretty awful.

Convenient location, close to Hollywood, Universal studio, UCLA, etc; fully equipped kitchen, clean and large rooms; the property is under renovation so it’s a bit hard to find parking close to the building; the shower and power socket in the second bathroom didn’t work at all, we ended up using one bathroom for the whole family. For the price we paid, it’s still a not bad place.

Wir waren fünf Nächte dort und wären gerne länger geblieben. Die Wohnung war sehr schön, hätte aber einige Defekte in Wänden und Böden. Saubere Arbeit es aber definitiv. Abzüge gibt es allerdings für die Parkplatzsituation, den Check-in und den generellen Informationsfluss. Man wird überhaupt nicht aufgeklärt AUSSER: wo man überall NICHT parken darf und dass man sofort abgeschleppt wird.(haben wir sogar bei anderen erlebt, als wir da waren). Der Checkput war unkompliziert.
