Überforderung des Personals

Wir waren am 02.01.15 für 5 Tage in dem Hotel. Eigentlich sollten wir ab 15Uhr in unser Zimmer, aber erst um 17:35Uhr war es fertig. In der Zwischenzeit konnten wir auf eigene Kosten in der Hotellobby etwas zu trinken bestellen. Da uns an der Rezeption zuerst für 16Uhr das Zimmer zugesagt wurde, haben wir mit einigen anderen dort gewartet. Hätten wir gewusst, daß es so lange dauert, wären wir in den Ort Grafenau gefahren. Das Zimmer war dann sauber, es fehlte nur ein Glas, welches am nächsten Tag gebracht wurde. Am 3ten Tag wurde ein Duschhandtuch entfernt und nicht erneuert, nur die Betten gemacht und weder Bad noch Zimmer geputzt. Am 4ten wurde im Zimmer nichts gemacht, Toilettenpapier und kleines Handtuch (statt großem) wurde nach Aufforderung gebracht. Trotz der Beschwerden wurde uns keine Entschädigung angeboten. Es kamen nur seichte Entschuldigungen. Das Hotel selber hätte eine Renovierung dringend nötig. Die Zimmer haben sehr viel Holz, welches schon abgenutzt ist, der Teppich riecht leicht, die Balkontür lässt sich nur komplett öffnen und die Wände zum Nachbarzimmer sind dünn.

We want to go back next year.It is a little out of the way but worth it we just love it !!! It is peaceful and quiet setting.The rooms are big.

Nachttischlampe außer Betrieb, Steckdose am Bett außer Betrieb, keine Duschkabine sondern versiffter Duschvorhang über einer Badewanne, Röhren-tv steht neben dem Nachtschränkchen... Wer sich Verkehrt ans Fuß-Ende legt kann auch in diesem Zimmer fernsehen

Needs renovation - but fine for the price

We stayed with our 2 year old - hotel is super child friendly (potties in all the bathrooms, playground, trampoline, playrooms, etc.). Hotel is in need of renovation - rooms, carpets, curtains, playground, - in dire need of a replacement/fresh paint. Seems like they are clutching on to the 4 star rating by the skin of their teeth. Staff quite friendly - pool/whirlpool area great for kids. I would recommend this hotel - however, realistically - I would rate it as a 3 star.

Oud, versleten, muf

Het hotel is oud en de meubels op de kamer zijn oud en versleten, iets wat je op de foto's op internet niet kunt zien. Het bed en de badkamer waren schoon. Gelukkig waren we op doorreis en verbleven we er maar 1 nacht. We konden niet geloven dat dit hotel 4 sterren heeft, naar onze mening eerder een 2 sterren hotel en zeker niet wat we gewend zijn van de Golden Tulip hotels in Nederland.
