Seabreeze Cottage, a lovely cottage, only a 2 mile walk to the Giant's Causeway.

Set in the seaside village of Portballintrae, our beautiful 3 bedroom cottage is situated close to the world famous Giant's Causeway. Portballintrae beach is 8 minutes by foot, and the Giant's Causeway can be reached by a fantastic beach and cliff walk or by path a distance of approx 3 Km (or you can also travel a short distance by car or use the tourist train ….. The location is a perfect base for an activity holiday with lots of water sports, paddle boarding , canoeing , swimming and boating at the local harbour and beach. Within walking distance we have a super 9 hole golf course at Bushfoot . A Tennis court is also location in the village also a children’s park and lots of water based activities take place at the harbour over the summer months ………
The cottage comfortably sleeps 5 people, has a family bathroom (with bath and separate shower), and a separate ensuite (with shower) in the main bedroom. The kitchen and utility reside on the top floor of the property with views out over the beautiful countryside.
The cottage has permanent high-speed WiFi connection, and is fully centrally heated, with a big fireplace in the living area. The area offers a variety of activities including cycling, walking, surfing, golfing and canoeing. We allow 1 small dog that is house trained, with own bedding …… extra charge for cleaning is normal £20. This can be paid at the end of the visit ….The Bayview hotel is a 5 minute walk away with good food, drinks and live music at weekends. the world famous Bushmills Inn and Distillery are just 1 mile away within the very pretty village of Bushmills. The village is also fast becoming a very select area with lovely craft shops and fantastic local food and entertainment, a real gem in the heart of the North Coast....
*Please note that during the months of July & August there is a minimum stay at Seabreeze Cottage of 4 nights ...... *Please note that additional last minute guests will incur an additional charge of £65 per guest ……

Lovely location

Beautiful property in great location but could use cleaning. hostess was away and we were driving with no wifi so did not get her message asking time of arrival. Arrived and keys were not in lockbox as advised. As we are from Canada roaming 15.00 a day so had to put phones on to try reach her. Number on listing not available, perhaps as she was out of country. Tried message host then sit in car waiting. Finally I had stand in cold rainy weather in case they came as rest drove to town to use bathroom. Thankfully her husband arrived to advise she was away, gave us actual location key but he did not know how to use appliances. Fridge had old food in it he took away, but garbage in kitchen, dead bugs (think fruit flies) in tub (took pics) and few spiders and beetles. So looks like could have used cleaning. Would be nice property with proper cleaning.

Little piece of heaven

Very well appointed kitchen, comfy beds, great shower, fantastic view. The house was very close to activities. The owners were lovely people. They met us at the house and helped us get settled. Gave us lots of good information on things in area to see. The area is breathtakingly beautiful! Five stars!

Seabreeze Cottage, Portballintrae

This is an excellent cottage. Superbly well appointed with everything you would require for self-catering. Beautifully decorated upstairs open plan lounge dining and kitchen area. Separate utility. Downstairs comfortable cosy bedrooms one en-suite and a separate bathroom. Could not have had a more warm welcome with heat and all lights on. Our host, Mrs Campbell was so kind and kept in touch to ensure we had a good holiday. Weather was stormy but we were very cosy. Would highly recommend the host and cottage.

Portballintrae gem

Had the most wonderful trip to Portballintrae and stayed at Seabreeze. Plenty of walking and things to do and see locally and we packed alot in during the stay. The property is exceptional (all be it an upside down house 😀with the living space upstairs) This awarded a lovely view over the countryside whilst relaxing in an extremely comfortable and well furnished living space. Kitchen well laid out and fully equiped. Cant speak highly enough of this property and the hosts. Thoroughly recommend. ...... hmmmm...... maybe a real fire would create perfection ?

A wonderful base for exploring the stunning coastal scenery

We had a very enjoyable weekend at the Cottage. The surrounding coastline and countryside is genuinely stunning and it is very close to Bushmills for shops and restaurants. Nora and Donald were great hosts and responded with lightning speed to help iron out a couple of minor hitches. I would highly recommend this well equipped, spotlessly clean and welcoming home. As would our dogs who had a fantastic time and are still recovering from all the exercise they enjoyed.

Beautiful cozy house, perfect to discover the Causeway Coast

Very clean, well kept, very well equipped kitchen and beautiful, spacious living room with a wonderful view of the countryside. No seaview as the pictures on Vrbo might indicate, but within walking distance of the stunning coastline, the beach and the Giant's Causeway. Our whole family loved it!

A fantastic 4 nights

We met Mrs Campbell on arrival. House was beautifully presented and immaculately clean and very well equipped. The views out of the lounge/diner were wonderful and all very comfortable and cosy - appreciated as weather was not at its best! The location was quiet and very convenient for our visits around the amazing coastline and not far from shops and pubs etc in the local town. (Walking distance). All in all a fantastic 4 nights. Thank you.

Much needed break

Wow. Hidden gem! The property was amazing and within a short walk of Salmon Rock Beach. Also very close to the Giant's Causeway, Bushmills Distillery, Dunluce Castle, Portrush, Ballintoy & Ballycastle. I will definitely be back.

First visit to the Causway coast

Fantastic area. Beautiful accommodation, so quiet and easy to find. To be able to walk to Bushmills or the Giant's Causeway an absolute bonus. Our host was so friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend Seabreeze

Lovely cottage in great location

We loved our stay. Walking/hiking distance to giants causeway - great for an early morning run. Excellent location for trips to Derry (train from Coleraine), Carrick-a-rede etc. Cottage is spacious and very well equipped.

Wonderful stay

A beautiful little cottage tucked just way from the sea. Close to several restaurants, Bushmills distillery, and of course the main attraction, Giants Causeway. Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay. It was cozy and had everything we needed. It was nice and warm after coming in from the windy Causeway. The host was amazing. Communication was perfect and they answered all our questions with a friendly and prompt response. I've already recommended this cottage to two friends who are planning their visits.

Very comfortable stay

Travelled from Scotland for a family funeral when arrived found a cosy house which was beautiful. All members of the family enjoyed the stay. Lovely clean facilities, comfy beds, clean well provisioned kitchen. Would highly recommend and likely to revisit.

Marvelous Stay

We had such a lovely time at Seabreeze Cottage. The location was accessible to everything by car or a short walk if you don't mind a bit of a hike. The hosts were wonderful. The house was welcoming and lit up for our after dark arrival. They checked in on us, made great recommendations, and even offered to collect us from the train station in the neighboring town. We will absolutely stay here again.

A lovely week in beautiful County Antrim

The cottage is perfect, was a lovely week away with the children and the dog. The cottage has everything you need for a week of cooking but lots of great places on the doorstep. We loved breakfast at Bilberry Mill Cafe, Ice Cream at Cream of the Coast at Magheracross Carpark and roast dinner at the nearby gold course. Thanks to the owners for all their great advice and tips
