Family vaca

We had a wonderful time staying at this cabin! There was plenty of room for our two families with 5 kids under the age of 5. We loved the waterfront and the boats. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you!

Excellent secluded cabin

Very happy with the stay here. The kids particularly loved the frozen lake and playing in the snow. The drive in to the cabin was definitely worth it. Highly recommended for families.

A trip we look forward to

We love coming to Loons Nest. Its location is perfect on the lake and next to the bike trails. Always impressed with how responsive the team are if we have a last minute question. The only wish would be for the kitchen/dining space to work better logistically and for there to be storage options for food beyond the fridge. The reality is there are limited options given the infrastructure and we make it work. We hope to be back and would recommend this cabin to others.

The perfect Chilcotin Holiday!

This property provides the perfect setting for a family or group of friends holiday. The location can't be better! Quiet, peaceful, lakefront cabin and great access to the mountain bike trails. Our group had the best holiday and we will book again!

Fantastic location, amazing back yard and backs right onto the lake!

Had a great time at the Loons nest, and so happy that we ended up with that cabin as it backs right onto the lake, with a huge grass area for activities. The kayaks and water craft were a real bonus and can definitely say that I would like to stay here again! Definitely recommend :) clean cabin, nice bathrooms, washer and dryer if you need and just a great place to spend a couple nights.

Excellent Stay!!

We have stayed at the Bears Den many times but decided to try the Loons Nest. It was all that we hoped for! The view from the porch is stunning and the firepit by the lake was perfect! The cabin is well equipped and had everything we needed. The beds are wonderful and have beautiful duvets. We will definitely be staying agains!!

Amazing lakefront property

We had an amazing 4 days at Loon’s Nest. The weather was perfect, the log cabin had more than enough room for our group and the lakefront was amazing. We brought our own paddle boards but also enjoyed having access to a canoe and kayaks at the property. We hope we can visit again to explore the mountain bike trails nearby. Thanks for a great long weekend!

Fantastic cabin and location

This is our third year coming here with friends and kids. Heather’s communication is timely and spot on. The cabin is fantastic and has everything we need as a base camp for backcountry bike rides. The location on the water is an endless playground for kids, who love it more and more as they get older every year. Amazing! Thank you, Heather and Jennifer!

Christmas in a Winter Wonderland

The drive to get to the cabin was definitely part of the adventure, but we have never seen such beautiful scenery. The cabin was better than advertised- pictures do not do it justice. It was beautiful, cozy, spacious, warm, and the Christmas tree was such a nice surprise for my kids. The weather was a little crazy and the owners kept in contact with us even during the holiday. We have never had such attentive hosts before. Our family made many happy memories to last a lifetime at the Loon's Nest Cabin.

Another fantastic stay

Beautiful setting, very comfy cabin, lots of outdoor space. We will be back. Warning: mattresses are very soft. This could be good or bad depending on your preference. Pro tips: bring slippers (cold tile floors), a blanket for getting cozy on the sofa, a Bluetooth speaker for music, and large mugs from home for a decent size brew! Otherwise, very well equipped.
