About this property
Pea Cottage - A beautiful countryside retreat near Stamford
Pea Cottage is a secretive, luxury cottage full of surprises. You're getting more than just a gorgeous place to hang out; the host has lined up a thoughtful selection of extras to make the most of your romantic break. These include a Prosecco Treasure Hunt, use of a tandem, an old fashioned record player, homemade "Scrum-Pea Cider", a choice of two walks and three hand-picked pubs to enjoy a memorable meal.
Pea Cottage is 5 miles from Stamford, one of the prettiest market towns in the country.
The space
The moment you arrive at Pea Cottage, you'll feel pampered, private and hidden from the outside world. This super-luxurious cottage is exceptional.
Overhead are beautiful honey-coloured beams, and underfoot is heated brick and oak flooring. The custom kitchen is very high end, and no matter what you're cooking, it always tastes nicer if it comes out of a posh Aga!
With the dining table nearby, you can dim the lights, play some vinyl, and you'll have the most intimate dining experience to remember.
Fancy a night in? Cuddle up in front of the log burner and binge-watch TV over the ultra-fast internet. Alternatively, sip prosecco from your private patio while watching the sunset.

About the host
Hosted by Andrew Mogridge

Andrew and Janet moved to the Stamford area about 20 years ago and love making the most of living in the Lincolnshire countryside. Andrew is a retired company director and Janet is retired from the NHS. Over the years, Janet and Andrew have been letting Pea Cottage next to the farmhouse.
Interior design is something that Andrew and Janet are passionate about. Over the years, Grange Farmhouse and Pea Cottage have been featured in various magazine editorials and advertising campaigns. Andrew would describe their taste as more Country Living Magazine than Homes and Gardens. Guests appreciate an authentic space that's full of country charm and perfect for couples wanting somewhere romantic.
