The "Reef" is a newly built 50' houseboat docked at Badgers Island Marina located in Kittery, ME on the Piscataqua River.

The houseboat features a queen bed in both bedrooms . The Master bath has a head and sink while the Main bath has a shower, head and sink. The Galley features a refrigerator, sink and stovetop as well as a Keurig coffee maker, toaster, pots, pans and a full set of dishware/utensils.

Also in the Galley is a dinette with seating for 4 as well as the bartop that has seating for 2.

In the salon , 32" flat screen TV and Bluetooth speaker.

On top of the houseboat is a beautiful outside deck where you can enjoy your view of the river while dining at the patio table that offers seating for 4.

On site at the marina is a washroom facility with 2 full bathrooms, 1 half bathroom and coin operated washer and dryer units.

On the marina’s pier there is a full sized grill, picnic tables, Adirondack chairs, etc…

Ice is available for purchase and there is free parking.

All linens and towels are provided for a $40.00 fee.

No pets are allowed - no exceptions.

No smoking is allowed at any time on the boat, including the outside decks.

Please note that the boat does not leave the dock.

Staying on the boat is extremely enjoyable, marina is well maintained, personal are knowledgeable and friendly. Portsmouth and Kittery have the best of everything restaurants , shopping etc. Rye beach and York Beach a short drive away. We will be back.

Memorial Day weekend

The boat is perfect. I booked the houseboat for my father and I. Just a little weekend fun trip. It’s close to everything. Beds are comfortable and very quiet at night. Would definitely stay again!

Houseboat Heaven!

My kids, husband and I loved staying here. The boat was very clean and comfortable, plenty of space for the 4 of us. The location can’t be beat. Sitting on the top deck in the evening was lovely. The Badger Island Marina staff are beyond friendly and wonderful. We loved every single thing about our stay.

The boat was fully equipped with everything that is needed for a weekend event. Loved the area for our first time house boat experience. We had a problem with the electricity and heat which required us to reach out to the emergency text number that was provided. No one got back to us so the night and morning was a bit chilly. The overall experience, we will return!!

Perfect location.

Clean, updated and had everything one needs for a week away. The location was in easy walking distance to Pourtsmouth and the marina was lovely. I was not excited that my husband booked this boat but I was pleasantly surprised. I expected it would be a step above camping but it was better than many hotels and had plenty of hot water for a nice shower. The views of the passing boats and downtown Portsmouth were just awesome. Hope to be back again one day.

A special spot

The Reef houseboat is a really special experience. Perfectly situated with stunning views of Portsmouth and the Piscataqua river. Spotlessly, clean, very comfortably appointed (good bed linens!), and enhanced by the gentle rocking of the tidal current and the lovely deck above. The only snag was that the living room was described as having a pull out sofa, which it does not. Two beds were very comfortable, and an excellent shower given that it’s a boat! We look forward to a chance to stay again.
