About this property

Available for rent is our little gem of a cabin. This is the perfect base camp for your Olympic Peninsula Vacation Destination. Hurricane Ridge, Sol Duc Falls, Lake Crescent & the Historic Victorian Seaport of Port Townsend await you to explore while you rejuvenate in all of the splendor & beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Centrally located for day-tripping to Seattle, this jewel of relaxation offers expansive and breath taking views of the Straits of Juan De Fuca, Protection Island and Victoria Canada. It is also an ideal place to stay if you are visiting for Sequim's Irrigation or Lavender festivals. Or for Port Townsend's Wooden Boat, Jazz or Blues Festivals. The cabin is 400 square feet of awesomness. The space is ideal for two but can accommodate three for a real cozy stay, a kitchen, bathroom and deck for enjoying the amazing sunrises, sunsets and phenomenal Mt Baker views. Deer roam free and it is not uncommon to witness an eagle soaring above.

We do allow one small dog (15 lbs or less) . Please know that there is a pet fee and it would be appreciated if you could tell a bit about your fur baby when the request is made. Without this information there might be a delay or decline of your request to book.

We have an outdoor fire pit and can supply wood for a cozy fire. Please know that there are times when all residential burning is banned. Just inquire at your time of arrival.

Some of the amenities include a mini refrigerator, dishes & utensils, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, electric tea kettle, a brand new heat pump/AC, TV with antenna that gets TV from Canada, a DVD player with many fantastic movies to watch, and a propane grill. Plush towels and fantastic bedding. We do have wifi, based on our location it can be spotty at times. Much more reliable to watch the surf than surf the web :)

Cute out of the way getaway!

My sisters and i booked this little rental to take care of some family business after a parents passing. It was open and inviting as soon as we arrived and was clean and ready to go right away. All of our needs were met and the whole stay exceeded our expectations! Thank you for allowing us to have a space so close to take care of everything! It was VERY appreciated and I highly recommend!

Lovely location, comfortable cabin!

Had everything we would need and easy access to the Olympic Peninsula, Sequim, Port Townsend. Comfy king size bed, delicious tap water! Mike was very responsive. Highly recommend!

This little cabin was cute cozy! The views are amazing! The hosts were super! It was the cleanest and most well kept Vrbo that we have ever stayed in! It was a perfect place to relax and recuperate! !

nice cottage on Diamond Point

This is a lovely property facing the Strait of Juan de Fuca, just behind Protection Island. You can hear the seabirds at night. We were treated to a thunder and lightning storm in the Strait one night. Property lists as both Port Townsend, and Sequim -- fair enough, but do know that the property is way out on Diamond Point, so it's 20 min to Sequim and 30 min to Port Townsend. Maybe there's a small convenience store closer -- if so, we didn't find it -- but anyway just be clear that the property is not in either town, its well outside.

A Great Getaway

This was a perfect stop for a two night getaway. Property was exactly as described - cozy. Great for a couple and our daughter. I was surprised by how wonderfully quiet the neighborhood was. A nice deck for morning coffee. My one gripe was spotty wifi. Not a place to getaway for work, but adequate for the basics. The owner was a breeze to work with. We would stay there again.

Very cute accommodation. Well appointed and was good proximity to where we wanted to go. Very very quiet neighborhood. It was fun to look at and learn about protection Island and it's one resident Marty!

Wonderful Location for Olympic Peninsula Exploring

Very cozy and lovely cabin with spectacular views. Close enough to nearby towns for driving, but quiet and serene for rest and relaxation. Wild deer welcomed us upon arrival! Cabin was warm, cozy, and welcoming. While clean and tidy overall, the cabin could use a deep clean in corners and in the kitchen. Toaster had lots of crumbs in it and the coffee maker water tank showed hard water stains that a rinse with vinegar could resolve. Overall wonderful stay for a mother/daughter long weekend vacation. Thanks!

Nice little place with great view

This is a simple little place (no stove, though outdoor grill) suitable for 2 or 3 people. It's in a great location and has a great view. Owner was very responsive and had an easy experience checking in and out.

Beautiful view

Loved our stay at this cozy cabin. It was perfect for our family. Our plans changed last minute and our 2 little ones joined us. They fit easily on the L shaped couch. It would not be big enough for older kids though. We would definitely stay here again. Hosts were very friendly and house had everything you would need for a few days. The view from the deck was great and we really enjoyed our evenings on it.

Its a cute little cabin overlooking the ocean. Its very quiet which made it amazing for our stay. We also saw deer just walking by from the front which was a great experience

Quiet and Clean

The view is amazing, and the size is perfect for 2-3 people. It was very clean and close to plenty of fun activities on the peninsula. The property manager does a great job with organization, communication, and cleanliness. You will see tons of deer, birds, and wildlife. Highly recommend if you want to have a peaceful and scenic getaway.

Delightful!

The property, while small, was perfect for our needs! The view was lovely and the special touches from the host were thoughtful and fun! One thing to note - though not a problem - is that you shouldn't take a shower while someone is washing the dishes. The host was very kind and helped us through a challenge, which could have ruined our trip. We're in Sequim frequently to visit my aunt and we'll definitely stay here again!

Tranquil Cottage

Favorite activity was sitting on the deck watching the water and wildlife. Perfect place to get away from your phone. Cozy King bed and comfy couch to relax. Bring microwaveable items to cook for meals and plenty of snacks, and you will be set. Owner very responsive to needs. Perfect for 2 people

Cozy stay with amazing views

Accurate description in VRBO. My family and I (and dog) enjoyed our stay. The location is private and quiet and the views were amazing. The property was easy to check into and clean. The hosts were kind to leave water bottles, coffee, and treats upon our arrival. Highly recommend this property.

Perfect!

Private, sizable, and the view is even better than you can tell in the photos. It's fully equipped with everything you'd need and then some. Your own parking space right on the property, which is a luxury you don't even account for. Overall, the perfect place - if you're considering it, definitely push to a Yes. The owners are super attentive and are quick to answer any questions.

Enjoyed the cabin, location not convenient.

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy, rustic cabin with a beautiful view off the front deck. The owners provided everything we needed to be comfortable the four nights we stayed. The bathroom isn’t great, but it met our needs. We found it to be a bit far from the areas we wanted to see, but the drive was beautiful.

Nice View, Cute Cottage

I rented this adorable cottage for my niece and her 8 year old daughter. It was perfect for them. It is such an efficient, well decorated place. It even has an electric log fireplace. Very, very clean. Owners were quick in response when messaged. The views are wonderful. So is the wildlife!

Vacation

It I really enjoyed the peacefulness of the property. The deer were running around everywhere. I really enjoyed my as the property manager and cheryl. They were very quick to respond to anything I had questions about it's right by the water. I give you five stars all the way around. You made us feel very comfortable. You didn't intrude or come over and say anything was too loud or complain about anything. I have no complaints at all it was a wonderful day and I would recommend you to all my friends. Great views
