About this property

My house is less than 15-minute drive away from Vancouver International Airport. It's located on a no-through side street in a safe neighborhood of Richmond. The guest bedroom is only 100 square feet in size with a queen-size bed and an updated private full bathroom. The suite is separated from the main house by a French door. It also has its own entry. Bridgeport sky-train station is less than 10-minute drive away. Bus routes to sky-train station are within walking distance. Other than the host, I am also a working mom with a part-time job. I like smiling, travelling, cooking, meditation and exercising. My interests include music and personal health. As a B&B host, I am privileged of being able to make friends from all over the world. I speak English and Mandarin. The suite is licensed through municipal government. No matter how busy I am, guest experience is always my number one priority.By the way, if you are a senior perfectionist, pls let go of my simple but cost-effective BnB. Thanks!

Excellent place, lovely and friendly host

My husband and i stayed at spring's home for 3 nights during our vacation in Richmond. Spring was a wonderful host. She waited up for us to check in despite our late arrival. The hospitality and willingness to provide assistance in locating local restaurants, grocery stores as well as fun places to visit in Richmond like fisherman's wharf (dont forget to try the grilled fish, chips and gelato ice cream when visiting as recommended by spring. We tried it and was awesome. . The room was cozy and comfortable. The bathroom was also sparkling clean. She was always quick to respond to us and ready to help in anyway.Spring was a friendly and respectful host. The location of her house is great with good and safe neighborhood.I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a comfortable and clean place for short and long stay.

It was a lovely place to stay. Very quiet area. Not far from the bus stop to that takes you directly to the sky train. The place is very close to the airport so it is convenient if one is doing travels by air.

Nice and cozy room

Had a 5 nights stay. Room was cozy and comfy. Bathroom was also squeaky clean and the shampoo was great. The host offered plenty of clean towels and quick response from the host for any problems.

Nice small place

The manager was very responsive to anything we needed. Downside no TV. But we knew that when we booked. I do recommend staying here. Thanks Spring. D&D.

It depends

The host is very nice, accommodating, and attentive. My sleep was excellent. The bathroom is very clean and modern. But, as mentioned by other reviewers, the smell of petroleum products was overwhelming as we made our way to the room through the garage. I have suggested to her that she just simply move her mixed fuel for her garden tools out to a shed. The smell initially made us want to move, if we had had the chance. The room is very small and is connected with the main part of her house. There was really no security from the house to our room. I suggested a lock on the bedroom door would have gone a long way to help in our feelings of privacy and security for our belongings. That being said, we did sleep well and were able to visit Stanley Park in the morning and return to pick up our belongings, which she kindly let us keep in her garage, before making our way to the airport after an overnight stay before a trip to Europe. Would we go back, it depends on whether she has implemented any of ours and others suggestions.

My 1 week stay

I have a good stay, how ever the entrance of the unite is strange, I have to pass from garage to enter and there is strong smell of gas, no oven, plugs are weak, Spring is friendly, and welcoming host.

Pas digne d’un logement Abritel

Deux points positifs L’emplacement et la propriétaire Ensuite que du négatif Pour accéder au logement il faut passer par un garage qui sent constatant l’essence,par une porte on débouche dans la buanderie Dans cette pièce c’est un bric-à-brac incroyable le micro onde et la cafetière sont posés sur les machines à laver Pour déjeuner pas de bol pas d’assiette pas de couteaux pas de petites cuillères Même pas de torchons Et dans les placards rien d’autres que des produits mis en vrac pour l’entretien Pas de places dans leurs penderies pour ranger vos affaires La encore ces placards étaient plein de tout et de rien leur appartenant On est resté 4 nuits et l’on n’a pas pu défaire nos valises la chambre minuscule dans laquelle se trouve un bureau aussi minuscule sur lequel vous déjeunez avec une seule chaise et un tabouret Bref indigne d’une location Je me demande comment un tel logement peut se trouver sur Abritel Fuyez ce logement Désolée pour la propriétaire mais il faut qu’elle revois ce logement

As described, cozy room

The room was just as described. It was clean and tidy, and the host was friendly and welcoming. My only comment to others (not a criticism) is to bring ear plugs and a sleep mask if you are a sensitive sleeper. The room is bright, but during summer that means at night too, and it is close to the airport :)

Great BNB! Especially if you need to be close to the airport

My wife and I have stayed at this location twice now. We loved that it was nice and close to the airport. Spring is excellent at answering questions and allowed us a later check in due to a later arriving flight. Room and bathroom was nice and clean and we had privacy. Great for a short stay!

Great place to stay!

Both my wife and I stayed at this property twice in the last 10 days. Both times we found the home very clean. Spring is awesome at communication and always quick to answer your questions. Super friendly and makes sure you are happy with your stay. We would definitely recommend and stay there again. It was ideal for us as we were travelling and needed to be near the airport. The later check in really helped us to be confident that we had a bed for the night.
