About this property
Waterfront Cottage with Salt Water HOT TUB! Directly on the Trent-Severn.
Located directly on the historic Trent-Severn Waterway with south facing sunrise AND sunset water views from the NEW SALT WATER HOT TUB! Ideal for up to 4 adults and 2 children. There is a futon couch available in the downstairs living room for a 5th adult or 3rd child.
***Come experience the Trent-Severn Waterway. Listed as one of the New York Times 2025 Travel Destinations - 52 Places to go this year!***
IMAGINE:
• Waking up to the gentle sounds of the Trent-Severn Waterway!
• Taking in the waterfront views in a large SALT WATER hot tub
• Enjoying a variety of water activities
• Stargazing from the comfort of your private deck (or from the hot tub)
• Casting a line and reeling in a fresh catch
• Hiking, biking, ATVing or snowmobiling on the nearby Heritage Trail
• Exploring nearby towns like Campbellford, Stirling, and Frankford
• Delving into the wonders of the Tyendinaga Cavern & Caves
• Relaxing on the deck with a good book while watching the boats go by
• Enjoying a bonfire or barbecue under the stars with your loved ones
THE COTTAGE:
Our cozy cottage is available year-round and comes fully equipped for your comfort and entertainment:
• Full kitchen with microwave, air fryer, and Keurig
• Barbecue on the lower back patio
• Window mounted air conditioning in the top floor master bedroom
• Baseboard heating throughout for cool fall and winter nights
• Plenty of games, puzzles, and DVDs for rainy days
• Wi-Fi
• Smart TV with a variety of streaming services
• Washer and dryer located in the laundry room on the lower level
THE WATERFRONT:
Access the private waterfront directly from the backyard. Please be cautious when entering the water, as the rocks can be VERY slippery. Keep in mind, this is a river and not a lake, so there can be a current. The water is shallow near the shore and fairly easy to navigate, however not suitable for diving.
• Enjoy our NEW Salt Water Hot tub with 5-6 person capacity.
• Bring your water toys! The water is great for kayaking, paddle boarding, canoeing, or just cooling off on a hot day.
• Water shoes are highly recommended when accessing the water
• Children should wear life jackets and be accompanied by an adult and monitored at all times when in the water. If the water level is high, the current can be quite strong.
• Boats follow the channel in the middle of the river through the buoys. If you are out on the water, please be mindful of passing boats.
DISCOVER:
Embark on a day trip to Prince Edward County and discover:
• The breathtaking beauty of Sandbanks Provincial Park
• Award-winning wineries and breweries
• Charming towns and villages
• Unique shops and galleries
THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW:
• This is a non-smoking property.
• Pets are not allowed at this property.
• Linens and indoor towels are provided, please bring your own beach towels for the water
• Minimum stay of 2 nights.
• Garbage and recycling removal prior to departure is required.
Please Note: as this is also our family cottage, we are constantly working on ways to improve the space not only for ourselves but also for our guests. As such, although we do our best to keep the photos as up-to-date and current as possible, at times there may be some minor changes (aka upgrades) from what is shown in the photos while we work on refreshing them.
Our peaceful haven awaits you. Book your Trent-Severn Waterway escape today!

OTHER NOTES:
NO BALCONY ACCESS - Please DO NOT access the main floor balcony as it is unstable and needs to be replaced. Please keep the door off the dining room locked at all times.
WATER PUMP - The water to the cottage is supplied by a drilled well. The pump for the well is located in a separate closed in the bunk bed room. There is a lock on the top of the door to prevent children from entering the pump room. Please make sure it is closed and locked if you have children in the room to prevent them from "exploring" and damaging the equipment.
