Gull’s Nest is a very quaint cabin. Tranquility is what we were seeking and it’s what we got when we arrived!
Spent three days relaxing and unwinding!!! Loved the friendliness of everyone we met. The only down side of our stay was that there is a step up for the main living quarters. My husband having poor eyesight tripped on the step and coming off the step. He never saw the step there. We had to move the dining chairs as a warning the step is there.
My husband having a good sense of humor, stood on the edge of the step and said he likes living on the edge!!!!
This little cottage was perfect!! Everything was very clean and well-appointed. We loved the layout of the home and the beautiful view from the main room and the deck. The little area in back was just perfect to relieve my dog if we weren't headed out somewhere. The people, coffee, and bakery at The Commons were fantastic. We visited both historical schoolhouses on the island - a highlight! Thanks so much for sharing your magical space!
We stayed two nights and thoroughly enjoyed this sweet rental. Super clean, cozy and charming. Excellent, friendly communication, comfy beds, and plenty of supplies in the kitchen. We look forward to returning.
Great stay! Love the view and location. Enjoyed the use of their kayaks and bbq. Relaxing on the deck and seeing amazing sunsets. As advertised!!
Easy access to the beach/water. Fun watching boats coming in and out of the local boat launch. The community was great and some locals even gave us some freshly caught crab. Yummy!!
The Gull's Nest was a wonderful selection for our vacation. The property was exactly as advertised and the views surpassed expectations by a mile. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and might be making plans for next summer soon!
Thanks for making our vacation an awesome one!
Charming cottage with a fabulous view! It was an easy drive from Seattle, yet it felt like I had truly gone “away” to somewhere different and special.
Cozy, comfy, clean, and excellent Wi-Fi.
This house has an amazing view! It is so relaxing from the deck with good weather or inside behind large windows if colder or rainy.
Cute house inside and very comfortable.
From the deck, we saw amazing sunsets and watched Bald Eagles in trees above back of house.
The Gull's Nest is a lovely apartment with great views of the water right from the living room. I greatly appreciated how clean the property was and know from experience that this is not always the case. The beds/pillows were comfortable - the bathroom is a bit small but the shower was hot with great pressure. We only stayed two nights but felt relaxed and refreshed in that short time. Thank you for sharing the Gull's Nest!
The Gulls' Nest is a gorgeous, cozy place to stay. It comfortably fit our family of four (plus dog) for a relaxing weekend. Views were amazing, and our hosts were communicative and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.
This is a wonderful property. The view is fantastic.
Very clean! And the wood stove was an added pleasure since we were there in late October. Great communication with owners too.
Sweet beach cabin in a quiet neighborhood across the street from the beach. Lovely views of the Saratoga Passage and Whidbey Island. Gorgeous sunset views. Roomy deck with furniture, barbecue and large patio heater,
Kitchen was well outfitted and beds super comfy. Owners/hosts were very responsive and kind. Highly recommend!
We had some nice walks in the neighborhood and also explored Cama State Beach down the road. Would stay again!
We spent the weekend in this cute cabin for a family wedding down the road. It has been nicely updated, though a caution to tall people! It's an old home but has a nice history. The view was perfect watching the sunrise and the boaters in and out of the boat launch.
My wife and I had a great time for a short visit to Camano Island.
The view from the front windows that are across the whole front of the house is amazing!
Clean comfortable bed and a kitchen that actually had decent cooking pots and pans.
I almost thought that I would not review so I could keep this gem to myself but it is too lovely. We had the best time. We ate crab, walked Maple Grove beach and Barnum Point. We sat on the deck and watched the eagles put on a show every day. Our time was way too short.
We were on Camano to preo our warehouse for a sske. This littke beach cottage was the perfect respite from long days of work. Cozy, but no cramped, comfy, warm. It was stocked with everything you need, just bring your clothes! Matress was soooo comfirtabke. AMAZING WATER VIEWS! Great areas fir wslks. 24 eagkes hanging out on the hillside, seals in the water. Its perfect, you feel safe and has all the amenities you woukd want on a beach stay. 10second walk to the beach, water, its right out the front door. We had 3 people, you could easily have 2 to 3 more in there. Loved it, thank you!!!!!@

Why they chose this property
We bought this cabin from family and remember going there many years ago when our kids were small. It is cute, fun and relaxing with the beauty of the Puget Sound, the mountains and the sun (when it is out).
What makes this property unique
Walking the beach, view of the Puget sound, and sometimes whale sightings!
