Nightmare from Day one
Magaly had given us the wrong code and house number. When we went to enter, the key code lock was broken l. Finally after several attempts we got in. From then on we used a house key. Went to check the “ heated” pool, we paid for, only to find out it was cold. Called VRBO as we could not get a hold of anyone. This was on a Saturday, Tuesday someone came by to check the pool and they replaced the filter. It was filthy. It would take 2 days to heat the pool. Inside, the kettle was rusted we could not use it There is no shampoo, laundry soap or dish detergent, if you are there for only a week you need to supply that, as well as garbage bags, second Saturday we are there, the pool is cold again. This time we could not get a hold of anyone, VRBO has no number for the owners, property management company not answering. There was a broken hose there , we went to Lowe’s and purchased a new hose that actually went to the pool. Once the pool had been filled the heat came back on. The pool maintenance guy stopped by, we told him of our troubles, he gave us the owner of the management company’s email. His name is Daryl Cumberland. He had told us that magaly was no longer working for the company and he would settle things to make things right. He was going to give us 167.78 Still have not received any money and we left the hose. We were hoping he was true to his word, I held back giving this review in hopes Daryl would come through.
