Less than satisfied

Based on the photos posted, we were very disappointed. The photos looked great. There was knats and bugs in the living room and master bath. The neighborhood did not feel safe. There was several run down homes and homeless people in the alley. I would not recommend it. The host was very responsive and sent the cleaner to finish cleaning when we called. Signed Disappointed

Very Convenient to UT and downtown.

We stayed here for my daughter's graduation, so we appreciated how close the house was to UTK and downtown, but the neighborhood was a bit rougher than expected. The inside was very cute and clean, the living room furniture was very comfortable, and the rooms were spacious with plenty of towels. However a few minor things: I did notice many of the outlets would not work including the one in the primary bathroom, there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher upon arrival, and the smoke detector started chirping at 1:30 am from the battery being low. Overall, it suited our needs for the weekend.

Great foe our purpose

The inside of the property is very cute and was clean when we arrived. The outside and parts of the neighborhood are a bit rough, though. The grass was very tall, there were children’s toys on the porch - we weren’t sure we were in the right place because the house number was hard to see at night. Other than that, though, the location was super close to the convention center and we had everything we needed for out short stay for a volleyball tournament. Price was great. Expect by now the host has had her baby. Hope everything went well and congratulations!

We purchased this house because of its excellent location and unique historical architectural features.
