Cabin in the woods
We stayed at Lazy Bear Lodge for a week in May. We loved the amount of space the house had. It's listed as a 2 bedroom but the second queen bed and the bunk beds are separate rooms with doors, but they don't have closets so I guess that's why it's listed as a 2 bedroom. We made great use of the ping pong table. The hammock and swing we great for relaxing And enjoying nature. The location was great for hiking trails, getting to Blue Ridge, and driving to Chattanooga. We will definitely be back.

Family Trip
We were in town for a family wedding - which we could have stayed longer to enjoy the beautiful cabin away from everything!

Great time but needs work
The windows were dirty with dogs prints and slobber all over them, many of the lightbulbs were burned out, there were a TON of bugs in the basement which we swept up multiple times and they came back every day even after the exterminator was there outside so I would suggest something more needs done inside to keep them out (our kids were freaked out about it because they were everywhere!), the propane tanks were empty, the agitator in the washer shakes loose every time you run a load of laundry, and the queen bed on the first floor is pretty hard to sleep on. We did love the king size bed and found it very comfortable. The hammock and swing were wonderful and our girls used those a lot. We also made use of the beautiful fire table and grill with the small amount of propane left in one of the tanks.

Roaches
Infested bad. We had to leave and it took us a day to find another rental. They would not do a complete refund

Great Vacay!
We love the view! The house had a great layout. It had everything we needed to cook meals with. Great location! We saw many deer and birds! Driveway would have been a nightmare if it had been snowing. The wifi is not very great. Our code didn’t work for the door but thankfully we were able to get into the key box. Other than those few things, we gad a great time. Loved the indoor wood-stove and outdoor fire-pit (needs some TLC and level ground around it). House was very clean on the inside. Beds were comfy and clean. Love the ping-pong table! We enjoyed the dining room table. Played several games around it. Overall a great place. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful and relaxing
Lazy Bear Lodge was by far the best rental Ive stayed in near the Blue Ridge Mountains. Took my family of 7 with 3 children for xmas 2022. Very Clean and accommodating. The cabin is well stocked with everything you need. Located within 1 hr of all the attractions blue ridge has to offer. We were even lucky enough to see snow. Our 2wd suv made it up and down the mountain without any issues. If you like nature lazy bear has it all. Lots of deer, fox, coyote and racoons. Hot water, heater and fire place kept us warm during the artic blast with temps nearing 4F. Many beautiful lakes and mountains surround the cabin. Natalie and the vacasa team were extremely easy to work with and accessible at all times. We will be going back in the summer to enjoy more outdoor activities

Lovely Cabin!
This is a really great cabin with comfortable furnishings and nice amenities (the ping pong table in the basement and propane fire table outside were great). This place is a pretty far drive from restaurants, shopping or towns so be sure to stock up on groceries on your way in. I was looking in "Ellijay, GA" when this property came up. Ellijay is a 45 minute drive from this place. That is on me because I usually look at the location on an online map and didn't do that this time. We had a little trouble getting into the cabin upon arrival but that was quickly rectified. If you truly want some peace and quiet in a remote mountain setting, this place is great!
