About this property

This unique and totally renovated swiss designed chalet is AWESOME! Located extremely close to Revelstoke Mountain Resort on a private 1 acre lot with mountain views. Enjoy such modern amenities as stainless steel appliances, quality cookware and fully equipped kitchen, front loading full size washer and dryer, a 50'Plasma TV, PS3, Bluray, Netflix, wifi and a BBQ. Full of mountain charm this chalet contains lots of local slate and wood as well as a gorgeous wood stove that makes this place super cozy. Tucked away beside the mountain with a large south facing yard and fire pit. The open concept layout offers a stunning kitchen, 1 bedroom with a queen bed and closet, a large loft with a queen bed, two double beds and closet. All of the beds are very comfortable with quality linens. The modern bathroom comes stocked with clean towels, slate flooring and bath/shower surround. Kick back and enjoy the mountain living in this classic Swiss style ski chalet! The property has lots of parking ideal for sleders or those with trucks and trailers. The Powder Chalet can also be rented in conjunction with the Powder Sweet. The Powder Sweet is a seperate structure on the same 1 acre lot.(VRBO Listing #394232) WILL NOT DISAPPOINT! I typically am looking for a minimum of 5 night bookings, however I will accept shorter bookings if it is piggy backed with an existing booking or the date you are inquiring about is 1-2 weeks out. Please check calendar for availability. Thank you for your interest in our property. Please note there is no cable or satellite TV.

Very nice place. Quiet and cozy

The cabin was far enough away that it was peaceful and gave you a feeling of being remote yet it was still close to all amenities and a short drive to Revelstoke Mountain Resort and the town itself. Had a very nice stay.

Great stay

A great chalet near the mountain. We really enjoyed our stay. Everything felt like home and was well appointed. Personally, I would not describe the location as a "short walk" from the gondola, as it is below a large hill on a winding road, but it was not an issue as we were so close via car

Perfect Adventure Base Camp

We spent a week on an adventure motorcycle trip in and around Revelstoke and this home was the perfect base for fall travel in the bush. Great space, clean, plenty of bed space for our 3 person team and dog friendly. Thx for a wonderful stay. Tony

Beautiful, secluded cabin close to hill

What a lovely little cabin full of all the amenities needed for a mountain stay. Close enough to the mountain that you could walk. Secluded enough and tucked away with a beautiful property big enough for the dog to play in. Clean, comfortable and completely enjoyable. Will definitely stay here again.

Perfect!

This was exactly what we needed! The area is beautiful - gorgeous forest around and close to the resort. The home is very well equipped - beds to sleep 8, everything you could need in the kitchen including sugar, tea, spices, extra bedding/towels, laundry. Just like home! Really appreciated the stonework and views through the picture windows. Hope to be back!

Beautiful Cabin!

What a great hideaway to spend the weekend in. The cabin is so private and rustic. The host is attentive and kind and very responsive. This is my new favorite place to stay in Revelstoke.

Wonderful time

We arrived and the owners were at the cabin beside us, and they were wonderful and welcoming. They communicated with us a little about what’s been going on in town. The property was clean, the grass was mowed. The cabin was a great fit for my husband, myself and our 3 dogs. The covered back deck was a delight as it was rainy the one day and we were able to enjoy a charcoal bbq dinner out there. The fire pit in the middle of the yard was so relaxing and a real treat the rare afternoon we were around long enough to use it. We also loved the indoor fire place and used that each morning to warm up/dry out the house as it was quite humid this year, and we aren’t used to humidity like what was in Revy. We have stayed at both places on the property and we have fully enjoyed both places. The owners are wonderful and very accommodating. Thank you all for such a great time! We absolutely loved our stay! We will be back!!! Thank you

Canada Day Getaway

Great little cabin just below the base of Revelstoke Mountain Resorts. Comfy, cozy with a rustic feel, everything you need in the kitchen to make good meals (if you chose to). I found the photos on the listing don't give the place justice, so it was a pleasant surprise. We had a few cold and rainy days out on the trails, so the wood-burning fireplace took it to the next level! Lots of detailed information and recommendations from Vicky. Would happily book this again.

Winter stay at powder chalet

Rented this place for a meet up amongst friends for skiing. Great place, close to the mountain, amenities were good, as described. Would rent again.

Why they chose this property

As an avid snowboarder and out door adventurer I was drawn to Revelstoke's huge vertical, annual snow fall and sub-tropical climate as well as the other endless outdoor activities possible year round. I chose this particular property for its outstanding location and proximity to the hill as well as the large private lot, the unique design of the chalet and the rustic mountain feel that the local slate and wood create.

What makes this property unique

The biggest benefit of this property is the privacy, proximity to the hill and the atmosphere the chalet offers. Just a great place to spend time with family and friends.
