Perfect Island Location

Three months in paradise! The location of this condo was perfect - mid Island so easy access to both sides in under an hour. Only a 10 minute walk to Cocoanut Marketplace, and a few more to Longs Pharmacy & Safeway. More importantly was the VIEW from our lanai- always changing and perfect for the beach & water lover. Our host: Shayne- his communication was prompt & responsive to any concerns raised (which were minor). Fully equipped for everyday living and beach activities. Three months our home and we’d return in a heartbeat - such a positive experience!!!

Great accommodation in a great location.

The property was very well maintained. We loved the lanai and all the tropical plants on the property it was extremely well landscaped. The apartment itself was perfect and well stocked with beach day items like a cooler, umbrella and chairs. We have lots of great memories from this place and i would definitely stay again if we are lucky enough to return to kauai

Very nice!

We loved the accommodation. It was very well stocked, we didn’t have to purchase anything. We enjoyed our coffee every morning on the balcony overlooking the ocean. We couldn’t get access to the ocean beach for walks but we enjoyed the view and the sound of the waves.

Location Location Location

Perfect location in middle of island. Condo well supplied, spotless, dryer broken-replaced in 3 days. In mean time manager offered to do our laundry. Wow. Not used but nice of her to offer. Be aware-TV is a streamed service, not live. We missed superbowl-really pissed. All units are oceanfront(beautiful). There is some road noise from highway-but not bad except sirens(lots). Overall-very nice, well managed, clean, would stay again.

Stunning Balcony View!

This was the perfect place to stay for our honeymoon on Kauai! The property is perfectly located and has shops, restaurants, beaches and hikes within walking distance which we took full advantage of. The building also has a lovely pool and BBQ area which we enjoyed. The apartment was perfect for us! It was very clean and comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you need for home cooking, binoculars for watching surfers and dolphins off the balcony (we saw a pod of dolphins on two different mornings!) And beach chairs and accessories to make those beach days more comfortable. We loved our stay and highly recommend it for your stay as well!

Terrific in every way!

This condo was exactly what we were looking for. All that you see in the pictures is exactly what you get. We ate all of our meals, including morning coffee on the lanai, watching various activities on the beach below. The kitchen is well stocked which is always a plus. Everything was clean including the furniture and appliances. The bed is very comfortable, on the firm side, but that is perfect for us. Beach items like towels and chairs were great as well. I think the best part of this condo is the location. We visited every side of the island and never felt that it was a long drive. We were close to beaches and sightseeing when we wanted to stick close to home. Shayne's welcome letter provided a ton of information about things to do and see and restaurants to try which was very helpful. He was quick to respond to our questions. Check in was a breeze as all we had to do was fill out a form for parking and the pass was delivered to us the next day. All in all we had a great time mostly thanks to the ease and location of this property and its owner. Mahalo Shayne.

Great location and wonderful host

The property was beautiful and clean, just as it looks in the online pictures. Gorgeous views. Shayne was great to communicate with and was quick to respond to our messages to him. The property was situated nicely to venture to all sides of the island. My only complaint was the traffic noise. The property is situated right on the main road and I live in the country so it was hard to get used to. If you are from a city, you may not even notice it. The property is about a 10 to 15 min drive to the airport. Our flight was delayed and we didn't land until 230 in the morning. It was fantastic that it was so handy as we were exhausted and did not have far to go. Also it is not in the flight path for the airport so you have the convenience but not the plane noise. We would stay here again. Thanks Shayne!

Great views and easy beach access

Condo was clean and well stocked. AC in the bedroom kept the room cool for a good nights sleep. The views from the Lanai are amazing. We took advantage of the easy beach access and took many walks along the beach. It's an easy walk to the Coconut Market for shopping and dining. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this property.

Such a Great Experience--We Didn't Want to Leave

Almost 200 reviewers have already rated this property as a “ten”—and yes, every one of them was correct! Everything was just as we had hoped: The property (including the pool) is well kept, the condo was extremely clean and well stocked. Communication with the host was excellent throughout and we’ll provide one example. A minor question arose during our stay so we thought we’d email our host. If he saw our email, great. If not, it would be no big deal. But he responded in less than five minutes! Considering all of the above, it’s no wonder why Shayne has been recognized as a “Premier Host”.

First Kauai trip

A very well kept property with good ocean views.A short walk from Coconut Market place which has many restaurants and shops. The busy road outside condo is a bit distracting but not too bad.Many other restaurants are a short drive away

Amazing View

We loved the condo, and spent a lot of time on the lanai! The AC in the bedroom worked great, so we could sleep at night. Central location, easy to get to stores and restaurants. Appreciate the amenities like beach towels, chairs and umbrella, even a rice cooker! Would stay again!

Fantastic!

Loved the ocean front lanai and sleeping to the sound of the waves! Rental is clean, comfortable, and really well appointed. There are some beaches, restaurants and shopping within walking distance, but recommend a car to see all gorgeousness of the island. Location is lovely- not too far from airport and about mid-way to State Parks and awesome beaches in either direction. Cannot wait to get back!

A Perfect Getaway

We recently had a phenomenal 5-night stay at this VRBO rental in Kapa'a and couldn't recommend it more highly. The property itself was spacious, airy, beautifully decorated and the location was perfect for our needs. Ocean view from the balcony was breathtaking and a perfect spot to start and end our days. The availability of a cooler and beach chairs was a plus. The host was responsive.

Wailua is a perfect starting point for every place to see on Kauai. We loved the great balcony and had our meals there with an amazing view of the ocean. The kitchen has a perfect size and everything was there we needed. The pool is great and we could also go out for a run at the ocean. We really recommend this apartment.

Shayne’s place was as described. Fully stocked kitchen. View is beautiful. It was great having the washer and dryer. Also, the 2 beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler were also a big plus!! Check-in is was easy. Place is centrally located on the island, allowing us to explore the island easily.

Wonderful Condo

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was right next to the ocean. The condo was well supplied with everything you would need. The location was great and close to several restaurants and shopping. We really enjoyed the brewery Napali which was right across the road. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location. Love the views from the balcony. Walking distance to various places. A bit of traffic noise from bedroom but not too bad. The ocean sounds makes up for a bit of traffic noise. We stayed for 11 nights and were very comfortable.
