Enjoy private resort living complete with a heated saltwater pool, waterslides, a Jacuzzi, an outdoor kitchen, views of the ocean, and SeaWorld fireworks. This home has all the fine details to make your stay in San Diego unforgettable including a fully stocked kitchen and both indoor and outdoor games. It is located overlooking the ocean and bays in a beautiful upscale neighborhood, yet close enough to enjoy all of the San Diego attractions in a 5–30-minute drive.

When you are not out seeing our beautiful city, you can relax and enjoy your private backyard oasis with your friends and family.

You will love our quiet, beautiful upscale neighborhood where there is plenty of parking. You can see the ocean from our home, but it is high above it to avoid having to deal with crowds.

The main house has four bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths with a beautiful master on the second floor. The pool house has a loft bed, a queen sofa, a sleeper, a kitchenette, and full bath, and a shower. Please inquire with the host if you would like to add the pool house.

Details:
The main house consists of a master bedroom upstairs with a full bathroom and king-size bed and beautiful views. Downstairs has two bedrooms with queen beds and views of the side yard garden. A fourth bedroom with two twins and a pull-out ottoman bed with views of the pool. We can also provide pack-n-plays, umbrella strollers, and highchairs so please let the owners know if you need these complementary items.

There is a large living room with a 50-inch flat-screen TV and enough seating for 16 people. There are two spaces in our driveway and three spaces in front of the house for a total of 5 that are exclusive for your use. Our house is pet friendly but please inquire with the hosts to make sure it's insurance approved.

Water park in your back yard

We were a three generation family of 8,m including four children 6 and under. This home was perfect for a large family. The 6 and 4 year olds...and their dad...loved the two waterslides and all of us loved the hot tub. Everything "works" in this home and that is very important on a vacation. It was very well equipped, has a great barbecue and the location was perfect...close to the SD Airport, Sea World, Balboa Park and downtown. A great place for a fun family vacation.

Great place.

Great house layout, location and household amenities. The backyard was really stand out. Easy checkin and checkout. The only criticism and it is minor is that there have clearly been pets in the house as the tile floor had animal hair that was hard to sweep up.

Family time!

Awesome! We really enjoyed everything! The house had plenty of room to have your own space. The backyard was a hit with all. Close to all we wanted to see. Hostess was great and responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed just being all together. We don’t get to do that enough.

Incredible experience

We have stayed at many vacation rentals, both here and abroad. Without a doubt, this one tops them all. The house itself was terrific, and in a great location. We had a great view of Mission Bay and San Diego directly from our bedroom. And we never dreamed that the pool would be even better than the advertisement. Two slides, countless waterfalls and a hot tub - a clear kid magnet. Finally, the house is a 5 minute drive to the ocean beach near the Pacific Beach pier. April and Michael, our hosts, also made this an even better experience. Pre-trip communications were clear and responsive to questions. And while in the house, the service was incredible. When we needed something, April came in 15 minutes with our request and another pool toy to top it off. Any future trips to San Diego will begin by searching for availability of this house and these hosts. They are both awesome.

April’s amazing home

I can’t do justice to this house in words. The pictures on line are great but the reality is even more spectacular. The layout of the house was perfect for the ten of us. But the real beauty is the backyard area, swimming pool and slides. Six adults and four kids from 6 to 12 years old could not of had a better time. The responsiveness of the owner was above and beyond. All in all you can’t go wrong renting this property Thank you April for allowing us to spend a wonderful week in your home.

San Diego Family Vacation

The location is great, we were never more than a 15 minute drive from most "must see" locations. There was plenty of space for everyone to stretch out and have their own space throughout the home. The hosts were easy to contact and communicate with during our stay. Hands down, the best part was the pool! The view from the top, the two slides, the hot tub and the fact it was heated for the cool spring night was everyone's favorite!!! Highly recommend for your large group visit to San Diego.

First, our host were amazing. Great customer service from intial reservations to check out. Super helpful and kind. The house was as expected, and the outdoor area was spectacular. Cousin reunion 2024

This beautiful home exceeded our expectations and suited all of our needs and more. Everyone had comfortable accomodations with each bedroom and shared bathrooms. We were able to host family dinners utilizing the kitchen and outdoor BBQ. The highlight of this property is the incredible backyard and pool which we enjoyed immensely with all the outdoor seating and pool and jacuzzi. I definitely reccommend this property and this hosts.

What an amazing trip!! This house was perfect and everyone had space. The backyard was a hit!! The BBQ, the pool, the slides, and the hot tub is where we spent all of our time. The communication with the host was also 5 star. We had some change ups through the time between reserving and checking in and the host was amazing and accommodating!! We will for sure be returning for more family memories ❤️

Theme park quality slides!

All of the women in my family gathered at this house and we had an incredible time! Everyone from 9 years old to 76 enjoyed the pool and outdoor amenities so much. It was hard to leave and do anything else. April is amazing at responding to any needs. Truly a great experience.

The whole family had a great time! Best place to stay in the San Diego area. The home is spacious, very clean and the check-in process was very easy. Perfect Family Home for Vacation

Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. Bedroom set-up was perfect for all the adults and kids (12 yrd olds used pool house and loved it). Perfect location for day trips to zoo, Old Town, shopping, beaches, bike rides, golf, etc. Afternoons spent in the pool and playing on the slides. Loved the outdoor BBQ area and large indoor dining room for 11 people. Issue with WiFi resolved. Only negative: soft mattresses for adults.

Great experience all around

Good communication, easy check in and out, clean, quiet, nice neighborhood, good views, awesome pool, comfortable beds. 10 - 15 minutes from downtown, grocery store and fast food closer. Would definitely stay here again. Two grandparents, one son, and two granddaughters age 13 & 15. All loved the pool and WiFi.

Very rarely do we love the house rental more than exploring the city; in this case it’s 💯 true! All the family enjoyed the rock slide, the quick heating of the hot tub, and the sound sleep we enjoyed every night. The views were spectacular, the kitchen fully stocked, clean bbq, and lots of space to gather and enjoy each others company.

Awesome Family Vacay

More than a rental…a magical experience!

First off this home has so much to offer, starting with the location. Not only is it situated in such an easy to get to spot. It also has one of the safest neighborhoods which meant a lot to us. The home is gorgeous and has a fun feel good vibe. The backyard is fantastic but truly the best part was just how spacious the home is. Plenty of room and with all the amenities one could hope for. Another important piece is how the experience is working with the owner. April was just great to communicate with. Super supportive, responsive and professional. A wonderful rental experience from start to finish. Ty so much!! :)

Great trip!

This is our 2nd time staying here & just like last time we enjoyed ourselves immensely! I told my husband the location and house are my happy place! A bit of home away from home!! The house has everything we needed and the kids didn't want to leave the pool at all! I'm sure we'll be back!!

Great backyard pool!

Great communication with the owner throughout the entire process. Backyard pool and slides were amazing and made a great area for our family to relax and just have some fun together. Driveway has space for 3 vehicles and road has ample parking for an another car as well. Pool house room was very unique and although it didn’t have AC it was cool enough in the evenings that it wasn’t an issue. Whole house was clean and made for a relaxing family getaway together. Would definitely recommend this house to others.

Family Gem

Just checked out of this amazing property today for a sisters trip. Endless amount of fun down water slides! Salt water was amazingly soft and the stunning view overlooking the bay and summer nightly fireworks were the icing on the cake! Host couldn’t have been anymore sweet and accommodating. Super fast communication. The house is fully stocked with anything you might need. Very much looking forward to staying at this property again.

I am a native of San Diegan who dreamed of living at the beach. My husband and I fulfilled that dream when we purchased our first home. We have raised our family and a dog named Kona in this house. Living the San Diego lifestyle at the beach with beautiful weather and unlimited outdoor activities at our doorstep has truly been a dream fulfilled.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with this house the moment we saw the spectacular views of the city of San Diego, bays, ocean, Coronado Island, and to Mexico. It is a very quiet peaceful location on Soledad Mountain but is close to everything San Diego has to offer. There is something to do for children of all ages. You are minutes from the famous San Diego Zoo, historic Balboa Park, Belmont Park (roller coaster), Legoland, and more! Looking from the front of the house you can Sea World fireworks at night. You can enjoy every water sport imaginably just minutes from the property. If you are looking for nightlife or great shopping you can find them close by as well in Downtown's Gaslamp District, Garnet Ave in Pacific Beach, or on Prospect in La Jolla.

What makes this property unique

We wanted our home to be a private oasis to enjoy as much as the local attractions. Enjoy family time in your private resort including water slides, waterfalls, an outdoor kitchen, and a deck with gorgeous ocean views. At night BBQ and enjoy the breathtaking tranquility of watching the San Diego sunset and taking a dip in a warm saltwater pool (heat included in the price) or Jacuzzi. Part of a great vacation isn't just experiencing our beautiful city but spending quality time together. In our home, we pride ourselves on providing a memorable experience.
