About this property

Our new and modern Ocean Front two bedroom apartment which is also located directly in front of a national park and a estuary. The suite is well appointed with a comfortable open floor plan kitchen/living area offering a well equipped kitchen with casual seating at the granite countertop. The rooms are beautifully furnished and finished in coral stone. The sitting area leads out to the covered patio which offers outdoor dining and lounge chairs for relaxing while looking out to the beautiful ocean and the kite surf action on Silver Sands beach in the winter months. We are one minute from the De Action windsurf shop and a few minutes from Oistins and St Lawrence Gap which are known for their vibrant night life.
Staying with us is like staying in the house of a special and hospitable friend. We believe passionately in making you feel at home while vacationing in Barbados.

One night stay

Our host Cheron truly understands the essence of hospitality. Although we stayed for just one night, she ensured that we had everything we could possibly need, even going so far as to bring us groceries for breakfast. The apartment is tastefully decorated and is perfectly equipped for an extended stay, featuring all the modern conveniences one could desire. Located a few steps from the beach, it offers safe parking and a stunning ocean view. The place is absolutely charming and we would book another stay in a heartbeat. Thank you Cheron and Walwen. 15th Anniversary celebrated in Paradise!

Beautiful clean and well-equipped, luxurious apartment on top level of the house in the wonderful location of Silver Sands, close to the town of Oistins. Large bedroom with a very comfortable bed and a very large wardrobe with plenty of hanging room as well as drawers. Bathroom has great shower. Amazing view of the ocean (only about 150 feet away ) from the bedroom and living room windows and from the spacious balcony with table and chairs. The hostess, Cheron was amazing! On top of being warm, friendly, and helpful, she had thought of everything and more. She went above and beyond, to ensure we had the most enjoyable and memorable 15th Wedding anniversary, by arranging lots of extra fun surprises when we went to restaurants and other events recommended by her! We have been to many VRBO’s during the last few years and this has been our best experience by far, due to all her personal touches! We will definitely be returning in the near future! We would highly recommend this vacation experience!

Coconut Appartment -Silver Sands

Cheron's and Walwen's propery is as advertised: luxury, elegant, very well maintained. Super clean and comfortable, what you will call "home away from home" . The appartment is equiped with everything you possiblly need and and even more: coffee machine, beach towels, ACs in every room. No issues with any of the appliaces during stay. Appartment is located in a quiet tranquil area, has beatiful balcony overlooking Silver Rock beach and Silver Sands Recreation park. Even the beach is more suitable for wind or kite surfing then swimming but still very nice for a walk or picknic, and observing surfers. Cheron is an amazing host, very very helpfull, responsive to all our needs, with helpfull information about the area. There were snacks, drinks and rum puch (delicious) in a fridge as a welcome gift. Silver Sands is perfect area: close to the airport, Oustins, St. Lawrence Gap , nice beaches and surf points/schools for beginners. If there is a car- you can't think of a better place. We didn't have a car, used public transportation (ZR buses) and taxi still were good. Cheron's and Walwen's appartment is highly recommended, we would definetely revist it.

The apartment is spectacular: recently renovated, beautiful architecture with a cathedral high wooden ceiling, large size rooms and easy-to-use appliances. The kitchen and bathroom are fully equipped. The living room has a great audio-video setup. The place is very clean and everything is in good working order. There is ample parking and a glorious garden equipped with an outdoor shower to get rid of the beach sand. There is a beautiful view from the living room and balcony of the beach and park. The host and their 2 dogs are amazingly welcoming. We greatly enjoyed our stay.

Loved this experience.

This wasn't just about a place to stay, it was an experience from the time we arrived till we left. We loved this place and hosts. Cheron was fabulous: her place, her help, her meals she prepared for us but more importantly her personality and guidance and conversations, all while never intruding. The place was perfect: clean with all that visitors need. The location was so much: proximity to beach, bus, store, town. The fun we had will be remembered, the hosts will always be considered family.

We just finished 1 week at Coconut Walk Apartment and could not have asked for a better stay. From the time we landed in Barbados our hosts did everything possible to make our week a memorable one. The unit is spotless, the kitchen is well equipped and the balcony overlooking the beach and the kite surfers was our go to place throughout our stay. Cheron bent over backwards to respond to our every need. We enjoyed great meals at Surfers Bay, Ocean Blue, and of course Cheron’s home cooking, which was amazing. Cheron and Walden are both seasoned hospitality individuals and if there was a Host Hall of Fame they would certainly be in it ! We highly recommend this wonderful home away from home.

Wonderful location and lovely hosts!

We had an amazing experience staying with Cheron and Walwen. From the moment we arrived we were looked after by two of the kindest, caring, and lovely people we could have asked for. Home cooked meals upon request, offers to get anything we needed on hand before arrival, etc. The unit we stayed in was perfectly suited for myself and my Mother. Spacious, extremely clean and very well looked after. I would rate this stay even higher if I could, and would definitely stay there again.

Fabulous!

Just returned from a three week stay at Cheron and Walwen’s apartment. From the moment we arrived we were treated as honored guests (almost like family members). The property is extremely well maintained, and the apartment is clean, spacious, and very well equipped with everything we needed and then some (special treats left for us by our hosts). The balcony is wonderful and overlooks the beach and Silver Sands Park. We spent every morning and evening there enjoying our meals, drinks and just soaking in the view and warm breezes off the ocean while we planned our days. The Charon is attentive and available if anything additional is required. The Silver Sands beach is beautiful and active with many kite and windsurfers. We have travelled throughout the Caribbean and have never come across a property and hosts we’ve enjoyed more. We'd recommend renting a car to explore the many aspects of the island and there is no better place than Cheron and Walwen’s apartment to use as your home base!

Exceptional vacation property and hosts!

Our family of 4 had a wonderful 2 weeks at this property. As a family we enjoy experiencing the culture and lifestyle of the places we visit. We like to be immersed in the local community and this property achieved just that. Our two active teen children (13 & 16) enjoyed the two weeks and always had something to look forward to each day, at the beach, swimming or in town checking out the local shopping. From the moment we arrived and stepped off the plane we were welcomed as family. Both Cheron and Walwyn made us feel welcome and did a fantastic job of introducing us to their beautiful island. Their attention to the property was second to none. The property is very well equipped with all the amenities listed and is exceptionally clean and tidy. An issue with air conditioning was dealt with immediately with absolutely no disruption to our stay. Cheron is an excellent concierge who helped us book activities, arrange transportation, suggest spots to eat and beaches to visit. She also is a wonderful cook who treated us to some exceptional Bajan cuisine. The vacation was extra special thanks to her. If you are looking for a vacation rental that truly allows you to unwind, enjoy the beautiful local culture and surroundings and not worry about a thing this is it. The MacTavish family

Our stay at this beachfront apartment in Barbados was absolutely amazing! The view was breathtaking, the space was clean and comfortable, and every detailed made us feel right at home. The host was incredible kind, attentive, and welcoming. The host thought of everything - from sunscreen and moisturizer to delicious cooking and refreshing rum punch upon arrival. The shower felt like a spa experience, and waking up to the sound of the was waves was pure bliss. This wasn't just a stay - it was heartfelt welcome to paradise. Barbados, we will come back and stay at this apartment again for sure.

Beautiful Apartment!

This property is one you should not miss !Cheron thinks of everything to make your stay enjoyable…. It is a beautifully presented apartment with two large bedrooms, and the fittings are all first class !Only 2 minutes walk to the beach to watch the kite surfing and a 3/4 minute walk to take the bus into Oistins or Bridgetown….. Cheron will also make you delicious food to order which you can eat on the terrace overlooking the nature reserve and beach . An experience to remember!

We stayed at Cheron and Walwens place for 9 days during our honeymoon. It was the best experience we have ever had at a VRBO. Communication and check in with Cheron was easy. The place was immaculate, comfortable and right across the street from the beach. Cheron welcomed us with delicious rum punch and fresh cut plants from her beautiful garden. Cheron kept in touch the entire time and would routinely update us on WhatsApp where to go during the day and also places to park if going into town. As others have mentioned it’s a bit outside the touristy areas but we actually enjoyed that aspect. We rented a car and had no problem getting to any of the activities we had planned and it was nice to come home to a quiet place outside the hustle and bustle. We are already missing drinking coffee on the balcony and watching the sunrise over the ocean. We can’t wait to come back!

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung in Strandnähe, ruhige Lage

Wir waren im November 2024 in der sehr schön eingerichteten Ferienwohnung. Vom Balkon hatten wir einen traumhaften Ausblick auf das Meer. Die Bilder des Vermieters sind sehr aussagekräftig, sie vermittelten uns vorab einen sehr guten Eindruck von dem Objekt und sie haben sich bestätigt. Die Vermieterin, Cheron, wohnt im gleichen Haus. Sie ist sehr bemüht und kümmert sich um ihre Gäste. Das Angebot hält was es verspricht, wer die Beschreibung genau liest, wird keine Überraschungen erleben. Paradise!

Cheron and Walwen, the owners of Coconut walk apartments are two of the most amazing people you will ever have the chance to meet! From the first moment of booking the beautiful apartment, they made us feel like we are family and not clients! Up until this holiday my wife and I always played safe and went into a resort, we decided to try something different in beautiful Barbados and we found Coconut walk apartment. The apartment is wonderful and more than worthy of any 5 stars, the location is in a very beautiful and quiet part of Barbados with a beautiful beach just metres from your front door. Im not sure i can articulate many words to describe how wonderful Cheron and Walwen, your every need is catered for, if you have a problem, they go out of their way to help solve it. Their aim is to make sure you have an experience of a life time, and believe me, that is what you have. Thank you Cheron and thank you Walwen for making our stay with you the best experience we have had yet on an overseas holiday! We will be back and back again after that, this we promise as we have now found our paradise!

Cheron and Walwin provide everything to guests. Each work timelessly to keep the grounds pristine. This guesthouse is highly recommended. One should recognize that the vacinity is somewhat isolated but just a short walk to the shoreline.

Wonderful host who couldn’t help enough. Clean and high quality apartment. Big kitchen. Location is a little far out from Bridgetown and a car is a must. There is a good surf bar in walking distance. No supermarket within walking distance.

Amazing

Cheron and spouse were amazing host ..Cheron was always there if and when we need anything. She recommended a wonderful driver to take us around safely . She recommended great places to eat beaches to go to . Her place was.very clean and had all amenities . Every thing was top notch. Close to supermarket ,bakery , beaches amazing location . . I’ll recommend to any of my friends and family for future visits
