Things I liked:
Spent a month here and had a lovely vacation in south Florida. We had a car and did a lot of exploring.
Good value for a great beach location.
Beautiful Miami beach literally outside your door!
Beach walking path wonderful. Goes for miles!
Gorgeous sunrises and views from upper level (bedroom).
Bicycle rental close by.
Brand new kitchen appliances and washer/dryer.
Fast internet.
Comfortable king sized bed in bedroom.
Large deck with table, chairs, and couches.
New BBQ on deck.
Rain-shower and handheld shower fixtures.
Pretty turquoise colour theme throughout.
Host (Ivana) communicated well. A broken microwave and burned out light bulbs were replaced quickly.
My son and I enjoyed the poolside bar.
The valet service was included (required). The valet staff were super friendly and accommodating. Bring tip money. Shout out to Marvin!
Walkable to 3 great restaurants which were hidden in neighbouring condos (Bernie’s, Lola, sushi place).
Things I didn’t like:
Spiral staircase to get to living area needed some painting. If you have mobility issues this is NOT the unit for you.
In general unit needs some maintenance and proper cleaning.
Bathroom sink areas moldy and one faucet completely loose. Excessive use of caulking to cover mold.
Junk in closets and cupboards (Paint, construction materials, ladders, broken vacuum, etc) was off putting.
Inadequate cutlery, cutting knives, pots and pans.
Bedding supplies were inadequate. Needed new clean pillows.
Cockroaches and ants in kitchen.
The building (which has no name) is a bunch of individually owned units. It does NOT feel like a resort or hotel. It is in rough shape. The lobby is almost ridiculously ornate and out of date.
The front desk where you check in is manned by rude security staff who are NOT service oriented. You will NOT get help with your baggage. Baggage carts are in short supply.
You will frequently find long lineups at check in time plus disgruntled patrons trying to ask questions of security.
The pool is NOT heated. No pool ambience or landscaping.
Valet parking is required. Beware of long line ups at checkout and crazy busy over the holidays.
The area is not walkable to shops, restaurants, groceries.
The deck was nice but you had to look at other units decks some of which were filthy and unkempt.
