"The Barn" at M&M Ranch - Bragg Creek, Alberta, Canada

This is one of the prettiest areas for riding in the world! The Eastern slopes of the Canadian Rockies has a tradition of ranching that started in the late-1800's and continues today. Experience a one-of-a-kind stay which combines the natural beauty of the land with Western lifestyle and hospitality.

The guesthouse, which we lovingly call "The Barn", is part of the M&M Ranch in the foothills, with horses and horse riding being the main attraction. There is a beautiful, large common area, full kitchen, and dining area (table seats up to 16) and 5 bedrooms, offering a total of 8 beds. We can only take a maximum of 8 people including children due to our septic system and well. During the winter season (Nov-April) we only offer bookings of the entire lodge on a self-catering basis. The lodge is located on the second story, so it is not accessible by wheelchair. Our space is also great for small events, reunions, seminars, and corporate functions!

Bragg Creek lies between Calgary and Banff National Park and we are 2 miles from the border with Kananaskis Country. There you will find hundreds of kilometres of trails for hiking, xc skiing and mountain biking. We are also on a paved road that is a popular route for cyclists.

Ideal for families, groups of friends, small company get-togethers, corporate functions, reunions, and small events.

Depending on the season, we offer a variety of activities right on our property such as year-round guided horseback riding, riding lessons, canoeing, hiking, wildlife viewing, sleigh rides, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and ice skating.

Sleigh And Wagon Rides
Sleigh Rides at M&M Ranch combine the fun of a horse drawn sleigh ride through our winter wonderland with the excitement of a pond-hockey game. Bring your marshmallows and hot dogs and grill them over an open fire by the lake. This is a fantastic get-together for family and friends - not only at Christmas, but all winter long! Only as long as the snow lasts!!
Treat yourself with an extraordinary experience in the Alberta foothills, whether riding, skiing, hiking or biking, and retreat to the comfort of our lodge. There are many trails on the ranch and a small lake a short (1 km) walk away that we have a canoe at in the summer, and plough for skating in the winter. Venturing off property you can find all manners of outdoor recreation in Kananaskis Country, a short drive or ride away.

Bragg Creek is 13 kms way. It is the nearest village and has a grocery store, 2 gas stations, liquor stores and restaurants.
