The cottage is cozy, fully contained has a seaside deck and patio furniture. This rental property is located in beautiful East Sooke, British Columbia, Canada. This East Sooke Cottage has 2 bedrooms with 3 beds, 1 bathroom, a floor area of 900 sq. ft. and a max occupancy of 4 renters. The base rental rate (before extra person fees if any are applicable) is for 4 occupants. Well behaved pets are welcome with a maximum of 2 pets and a one time pet fee if $25.00 per pet.

Hummingbird Oasis

My husband and I and our dogs stayed at this lovely property. It is rare that we find accommodations that will accept it animals. The check in was very easy, the cottage was very clean and had everything we needed to have a great stay. The fresh cookies that awaited us when we arrived were stellar. There was a hummingbird feeder with nectar to refill it in the fridge. We watched hummingbirds come and go for hours. Excellent get away!

Needed time away

My wife and I needed to get away from snow and ice.We typically travel into the States for warmer weather. This year with all the commotion between Canada and the United States we felt it was better to stay home so Vancouver Island turned out to be our logical choice. It did rain Fair amount but we had several beautiful days. There are so many beautiful places to see and things to do.Location is definitely not luxurious but for our two pets and my wife and I to get away it was perfect a beautiful yard and quaint home to stay in exactly what the doctor ordered. Sure the coffee pot could’ve been a Keurig or something similar but that wasn’t what was needed. All we needed was a place to be away and this fit the bill perfectly thank you so much Doug and Cheryl we love Darcy and so did our pets.

Peaceful and quiet

The cottage had everything we needed. We absolutely loved the country setting. We would definitely recommend this to family and friends that need a tranquil getaway. When we arrived there were beautiful flowers and freshly baked cookies to welcome us which we didn’t expect. Our overall stay was amazing.

An Amazing Stay In East Sooke !

We have stayed in many rental homes in the Sooke area over the last 15 yrs and have to say this cottage is one of our very favorites. Situated on the East side of the Sooke basin, it is very quiet and relaxing. The cottage was extremely clean, well equipped and very cozy. The fresh cookies and flowers from the care takers Cheryl and Doug was a nice gesture and they made us feel totally at home. They are wonderful people. Looking very forward to going back soon again. Perfect beginning to a 77th Birthday

This little gem is absolutely perfect. Away from the hustle and bustle of Victoria but close enough to get there in a pinch. Quiet and cozy. We were met with fresh flowers in each room, a welcome card and fresh baked cinnamon rolls despite the caretaker having a broken back! That's what I call commitment to being a perfect host!!!!! Days were spent exploring while evenings were spent watching the sunset on the deck. We recommend this cottage wholeheartedly!

Quiet Cottage

Our family enjoyed our time at Ann's Cottage. It is a very quiet neighbourhood. The cottage is well-kept. A great treat were the hummingbirds and deer that visited the property.

Beautiful waterside location. Very nice welcome package from Cheryl, carefully considered and thoughtful. 5+ for cleanliness, well equipped, comfortable, great views, visits from deer and humming birds. An immaculate seaside cottage, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hosts, Cheryl and Doug, care about their guests and it shows in all the lovely, personal touches. The location is close to beautiful East Sooke Park, offering lovely walks and the funky town of Sooke is just across the water, if you need groceries or restaurants. The walk along the ocean at Whiffen Spit is not to be missed!

Super fun get away from the hustle and bustle of life!

Our best friends came for our vacation and the cabin was a wonderful place to feel like a kid again! We may be between 55-67 years of age but you are never to old for playing in the water, floaties, bean bag toss, bachi, water pistol fights, s’mores, competitive card games , and the list of fun and laughs could go on for pages. The cabin was comfy cozy, and our pups loved romping around the big yard! Would highly highly recommend this vrbo to any family looking for some fun, sun and great memories of family time. See you next year!

Quiet and peaceful cottage.

More than satisfied with Ann’s Cottage. It was cozy, comfortable, very clean and roomy. Everything we needed was supplied. Host Cheryl was available for any questions…she and her husband were delightful neighbors, too. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and quiet stay.

Memorable stay!

We spent 4 memorable days here with our 2 dogs and we had our “elopement” marriage ceremony on the property! The cottage, property and location was perfect! Cheryl, our host, was one of our witnesses and made our day even more special, along with Doug. Memories and connections were made for a life time!

Lovely place with a few challenges for seniors

Very clean and comfortable and well equipped. As two seniors, one with mobility issues, we were aware of the few steps into the house but not aware that the parking area is some distance (across a long sloped lawn) from the house. Thankfully, we found a wheelbarrow in the ground-level basement to move our stuff. Bathtub/shower is also difficult to get in and out of - safety grab rail would help. Those with fragrance allergies should mention it when booking and ask for scented candles to be removed in advance - took us a while to find the source and take it outside. But a lovely comfortable older cottage, impeccably clean, nice view, and welcoming scones, muffins and preserves! We slept well in the very comfy beds. Would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Ocean stay

Wonderful property on the ocean. Quiet, peaceful location. Lots of walks, salmon fishing and galloping goose bike riding. Plan to return for another vacation soon. Very accommodating hosts, breakfast treats were waiting when we checked in.

Ann's Seaside Cottage is situated on a no thru street on Sooke Harbour with easy steps to a small pebble beach, with a beautiful handcrafted picnic bench under the apple trees close to the sea...it doesn't get better than that....we even had a beautiful wedding underneath the apple trees!

The cottage is funky, clean, a well stocked kitchen, comfy furniture, wifi, electric fireplace, books, games, binoculars...a very cozy place to call home for a few days or a few weeks.
