About this property

Luxurious Villa Paradiso, Luxurious Villa-6,600 SF, 3.3 Acres, Theater-2 Primary Suites

Enchanting Villa Paradiso
The luxurious Villa Paradiso, nestled on 3.3 acres between the majestic Santa Catalina and Tortolita Mountains in Northwest Tucson, beckons with its enchanting allure and eclectic charm. This extraordinary property, cast amidst the beauty of the Sonoran Desert, is a veritable wonderland, offering a harmonious blend of peaceful surroundings and thematic diversity that captivates even the most discerning guests and promises an unforgettable retreat for large families or groups of friends seeking a unique escape.
As you approach this grand estate, you'll be immediately struck by its imposing presence and the expansive grounds that unfold before you. The Italian-themed Villa is a testament to architectural splendor and artistic works of art.

Step inside and immerse yourself in a world of opulence and comfort. With an impressive 6,600 square feet of living space, Villa Paradiso boasts six bedrooms and four full and two half bathrooms, ensuring ample room for relaxation and privacy. The interior is a masterpiece of design, seamlessly blending elegance with whimsy to create a sophisticated and playful atmosphere.

The crown jewels of this magnificent Villa are undoubtedly the two luxurious primary bedrooms. Each suite is a sanctuary unto itself, featuring a sumptuous king-size bed, a 75" Smart TV, and spacious private en-suite bathroom that rival the finest hotels. One primary suite offers access to an upper deck, providing a privileged vantage point from which to view the scenic Catalina and Tortolita Mountains and survey the tropical oasis below. At the same time, the other boasts direct access to the Swimming Pool Courtyard, allowing for seamless indoor-outdoor living. The Bunkroom, perfect for kids, boasts a PlayStation 5 gaming experience with a big-screen TV and gaming chairs.

Speaking of the Swimming Pool Courtyard, prepare to have your breath taken away as you step into this hidden paradise. Completely isolated from the native flora of the Sonoran Desert, this tropical oasis starkly contrasts with its surroundings, offering a delightful surprise to all who encounter it. The centerpiece of this secluded haven is a stunning swimming pool and waterfall, perfect for cooling off on warm Arizona days or for moonlit dips in the pool or spa under the starry desert sky. On cooler fall, winter, and spring evenings, warm yourself around the roaring fire in the large gas firepit.

Complementing the pool underneath the shade of a Palapa is a charming outdoor kitchen and bar, inviting culinary enthusiasts to prepare al fresco meals while basking in the idyllic setting. A convenient cabana bathroom ensures that comfort is never compromised, even when spending long hours enjoying the outdoor amenities.

The outdoor splendor of Villa Paradiso extends far beyond the pool area. The property is adorned with a plethora of shady-covered porches, patios, and decks, each offering a unique perspective of the surrounding landscape and offering spectacular mountain views from the enormous upper deck. The property also includes a large citrus orchard, and when in season, feel free to eat them up and juice them to your heart’s content. These varied outdoor spaces provide countless opportunities for relaxation, contemplation, or socializing, allowing guests to immerse themselves fully in the tranquil desert atmosphere.

The Villa's vast basement level is an absolute treasure trove for those seeking entertainment and a touch of whimsy. Descend the stairs, and you'll be transported to another era entirely. The large western-themed Silver Gulch Saloon is a playful homage to the Old West, with rustic décor, bar, game tables, and charming details that will delight guests of all ages. Adjacent to the Saloon, an old-time Movie Theater awaits, complete with a popcorn machine, offering a nostalgic cinematic experience perfect for family movie nights or romantic evenings.

In a humorous nod to its Western theme, the basement level even features its own "Outhouse" – fear not, it's a modern bathroom cleverly disguised to add an extra layer of authenticity to the experience. This playful touch is just one example of the thought and creativity that has gone into every aspect of Villa Paradiso's design.

The Villa's unique blend of luxury and thematic diversity makes it the perfect setting for a wide range of occasions. Whether you're planning a family reunion, a gathering of old friends, a lavish vacation, or even a "staycation" for Tucson locals looking to escape the ordinary, Villa Paradiso offers an experience unlike any other.

Imagine lazy mornings sipping coffee on one of the many shaded patios, watching the desert come to life as the sun rises over the Santa Catalina Mountains. Picture afternoons filled with laughter and splashing in the tropical pool, followed by evening barbecues at the palapa kitchen. As night falls, gather your group in the basement Saloon for a round of drinks and friendly competition with the pool table, board, and card games, or settle into the Movie Theater for a classic film screening.

The possibilities for entertainment and relaxation at Villa Paradiso are genuinely endless. The property's expansive grounds invite exploration and outdoor activities, while the numerous indoor spaces provide ample room for communal gatherings and moments of solitude.

Paradise in the Desert

"An Amazing Stay – Highly Recommend!"I recently stayed at this incredible property for 3 nights and 4 days, and it was an absolute dream! The property is stunning, with so many fun activities to enjoy. We loved playing ping pong and corn hole, spending time in the huge swimming pool and spa, and watching the Super Bowl in the theatre room. The pool table was also a huge hit with everyone!Judy was an outstanding host—she was friendly, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. The mountain views were breathtaking, and the level of privacy was unmatched, making it the perfect retreat.Every part of the house and backyard was spotless and felt like a brand-new home. I can't recommend this place enough—10/10! I’m already looking forward to coming back.

About the host

My Husband Lan & I were born and raised in Southern California but relocated to Tucson in 1991. We both had old family ties to southern Arizona. My great-uncle was into mining and founded Loganville, an old mining town. My Husband's great-uncle was a guard at the old Territorial Prison in Florence, AZ, prior to Arizona Statehood.

Why they chose this property

My husband and I were drawn to this area by the natural beauty of the Sonoran Desert, the scenic vistas of three mountain ranges, and the lifestyle of the neighborhood where Neighbors pursue their hobbies and interests and enjoy their privacy. The neighborhood of the Villa is a large-lot suburban neighborhood where most homes are on 3-5 acres. Saguaro, Palo Verde, Mesquite, Ironwood Trees, and numerous flowering shrubs and cactus adorn the landscape. March and April are the most beautiful months with all the flowering trees and plants.

What makes this property unique

The Villa is at the end of the road and, as such, enjoys a great deal of serenity. There is a lot of privacy in the neighborhood because the lots are so large. On the west side, the Villa is bounded by 80 natural acres of undeveloped beautiful Sonoran Desert. It is peaceful enough to enjoy the sounds of the waterfall flowing into the swimming pool in the back of the property, the fountain greeting you at the front door, and the sounds of the morning chorus of the native birds.
