We enjoyed our stay; there are some things to note: 10 min walk to the S-Bahn & small commercial centre, but not many restaurant options nearby. Entrance is not private; guests enter through the home of the host and go up a steep, narrow stairway to the entrance of the top floor

Couldn't have asked for more!

We had such a wonderful time at this property! The owners Svantje Breitbach and her family were incredibly friendly, helpful, responsive and hospitable and made us feel at home the moment we arrived. The apartment on the top floor of an old villa was very cozy and had everything we needed to cook and enjoy ourselves, including lots of interesting books about Hamburg, games, DVDs etc. It's located in the heart of Othmarschen, one of Hamburg's most beautiful neighbourhoods, and close to the metro S-Bahn, various bus stations, the river Elbe, plenty of cafes and a big mall. To summarize: the perfect place for whatever you want to do, relax, going for walks, shopping, enjoying Hamburg's nightlife and its many sights etc. Thank you Svantje & family again for everything. We will definitely come back!

A beautiful top floor of a house with own entrance

I loved this apartment - beautiful in the sun, super close to the S Bahn (the line right to the airport and a few stops to city centre). A small shopping district 10 mins walk away and quiet at night. Svantje was great, making sure I had all I needed and happy to chat.

Prima Wohnung in ruhiger Umgebung. 14 Tage sind zu kurz um Hamburg und die Umgebung von hier aus zu erleben. In zehn Minuten zu Fuß an der S-Bahn, zum Botanischen Garten, zum Bäcker 👍, zum Jenischpark und zum Elbstrand. Tip: Von Teufelsbrück die HADAG-Fähre nach Finkenwerder und von dort nach Övelgönne / Fischmarkt / Landungsbrücken nehmen

Wohnung lag in einem tollen Umfeld

Das Haus lag in einem sehr schönen Viertel . Zur Essbahn waren es nur ca 7 Min. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung war gut. Es war alles bei unserer Ankunft vorbereitet.

im Villenviertel

wir waren sehr angetan von der Wohnung und der Vermieterin. Perfekt ausgestattet, für den Kurzaufenthalt gab's eine kleine Grundausstattung an Kaffee, Tee... Und es gibt eine schöne Aussicht über die Gärten und die wunderbaren, alten, großen Bäume. Im Ort gibt's alles (Bäcker, kleiner Supermarkt) in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Schöne Wohnung in ruhiger Lage

Wir haben unseren Kurzurlaub in Hamburg sehr genossen. Die Wohnung war sauber und ist mit allem eingerichtet, was man so braucht. Dank der Nähe zur S-Bahn konnten wir das Auto meistens stehen lassen und wenn wir es doch mal brauchten, kann man anschließend wieder ohne Stress in der Straße parken. Wir werden die Wohnung weiter empfehlen.

A short recharge weekend in Hamburg

The owners of the property were cheerful and helpful guving excellent instructions about the property and suggestions about where to eat like a local and act like a local. I highly recommend the property and neighborhood. It is in a quiet established neighborhood of large homes. My son in law and I spent 4 days sightseeing, eating the local food and ice cream, after the concert at Fabrik was postponed. Hamburg is energetic, growing and friendly. I am returning with my wife after next years Paris trip and tour du Mont Blanc. Go. You won't regret it.

1 Woche Urlaub in Hamburg

Schöne, saubere Dachgeschosswohnung für Selbstversorger in ruhiger Umgebung mit kostenfreiem WLAN + Netflix. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich. Ein wenig außerhalb vom Zentrum. Durch den nahen S-Bahn Anschluß (5-10. min zu Fuß) kommt man jederzeit nach Hamburg. So wie wir uns das gewünscht hatten. Einkaufen für die Selbstversorgung ist im Elbecenter/Edika gut möglich. Allerdings mit PKW, da für mein Gefühl für "zu Fuß" zu weit weg.

Traumhafter Aufenthalt im Hamburger Grün

Mitten in einem alten Villenviertel, voll herrlichem Baumbestand und Vogelkonzert, liegt diese FeWo im Dachgeschoss eines schönen alten Hauses. Die HausherrInnen sind eine sehr nette und sympathische Familie, die einem bei allen Anliegen gern weiterhilft. Die Wohnung selbst ist liebevoll eingerichtet mit Möbeln und Mitbringseln von diversen Reisen, man fühlt sich auf Anhieb wohl. Es scheint fast, als übernachte man bei Verwandten, so heimelig fühlt es sich an. Und die Ausstattung ist top, bis hin zu Kaffee, Öl und Bügeleisen ist alles da! 100% Weiterempfehlung!
