Fantastic apartment
I just returned from spending two weeks in Agata and Alberto’s apartment in San Michele and it was a wonderful experience!
Agata and Albeto were so great to work with, very helpful. Communication was quick and easy, they were wonderfully responsive! It was so helpful that they picked me up and dropped me off at the train station. That took a lot of stress off me, not being very familiar with the area. I also appreciated that they spent a lot of time with me showing me the apartment and explaining how things worked. The welcome gift of wine was most appreciated too!
The apartment itself is lovely, sunny and spacious. The beds are comfortable and the showers always have good water pressure and lots of hot water. It was really nice to have a washing machine in the kitchen too. The star attraction though is the balcony! It’s fantastic with a beautiful view of the hills surrounding the village. I loved sitting out at night watching the lights and marvelling at how peaceful the area is!
The apartment’s location is great, very easy to get places. San Michele is right between Rapallo and Santa Margherita, so going to either town for dinner or sightseeing takes almost no time. The bus service is very efficient and frequent. You can also walk to either town in less than 30 minutes. The apartment is in the hills so there’s some climbing to do every day. There’s a set of 135 steps from the village, but you can also walk the road instead. The apartment elevator was appreciated.
