K-D Haven is nestled on a beautiful lot that has an abundance of pine and quaking Aspen trees. The cabin sits on a dead end road and gives you a secure feeling of privacy and seclusion. K-D Haven sits close to Highway 20, and just 15-20 minutes to the West entrance to Yellowstone National Park. This cabin gives the vacationer a feeling of home away from home, with a rustic touch of knotty pine throughout the home.

This property also has a large enough driveway that allows room for ATV trailers, you can ride directly from the cabin winter or summer!! Upon entering the cabin you'll be welcomed by a cozy living room, dining room, kitchen, full size bathroom and a private bedroom. Upstairs in the loft is another private bedroom, full size bathroom and two extra futons bringing a comfortable sleeping total of eight guests. The fully equipped kitchen allows guests to be able to make home cooked meals while on vacation. A propane grill is available for guests for outdoor cooking.

**This rental home is subject to an Idaho Department of Environmental Quality Boil Water Advisory. KD Haven is located on the Island Park Water Company system that is experiencing water contamination. This project has undergone new management to get the systems up to date. Until further notice, guests will be required to boil water for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes and preparing food. We highly suggest bringing bottled water.

Awesome cabin

House was very clean with plenty of room for the 5 of us. Short straight drive to the west entrance of yellow stone national park! If you are looking for a place to stay to visit the park this cabin worked out perfectly for my family.

A great cabin for exploring Yellowstone.

KD Haven Cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We all loved the design and craftsmanship in this cabin. We enjoyed our visit to West Yellowstone and the park while in this convenient location.

Yellowstone visiting stay

Had a great stay at this property! Very clean upon arrival and had no issues getting in and out of the house. Watched every morning out the windows to see some animals like we saw from other reviews but no luck. Still would highly recommend if you want a quiet stay while exploring Yellowstone.

Nothing Short of AMAZING!

This home was truly our home away from home. My husband and I were traveling with another couple and the house layout was perfect for giving us each our own space and a space to be together! It was so cozy and comfy! The Mama Moose and her babies that visited us were just the icing on the cake! Loved it here and will definitely be recommending!

Very quiet

This house is about 25 min from west Yellowstone entrance. It’s very quiet and sits on a quiet road. There really is not good cell service and since no WiFi, this was a little challenging. We did get to see wildlife right in the yard on our last day which was really cool. No AC, so hot in the summer. They left the general amenities in cabinets which was nice.

Yellowstone getaway

KD cabin had everything you needed to enjoy several days exploring Yellowstone national Park. The property was very clean. The check-in check out process was excellent. Location was secluded and quiet. Only slight negative was directions were a little confusing but we got there. Would stay there again.

Amazing little cabin

What a wonderful place to stay! Close enough to the park, but far enough from all the hustle and bustle. The cabin stayed cool with fans in the windows every night even with temps in the mid 80s during the day. It was stocked with the items we needed to do all our cooking at the cabin. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Beds were all comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful cabin in the woods!

KD Haven is a charming, rustic cabin in the woods! It is clean and spacious. The beds are comfortable. There are no starter toiletries or internet, but this was stated upfront. I was expecting it to be more isolated, but it is tucked into a neighborhood full of cabins. But there are lots of trees to provide privacy. All in all it was comfortable and beautiful and located only 30 min from Yellowstone!

Beautiful Stay

The cabin was nicely appointed and the bedding was very comfortable. Towels and linens seemed brand new. We used the house as a base for multiple days in Yellowstone and the extra difference from West Yellowstone was negligible. The only negative was there didn’t seem to be a skillet in the kitchen just a flat griddle pan. We made it work, but seemed odd. There were also gentle reminder sticky notes placed mostly in the kitchen. I would like to see these recommendations in a “welcome” sheet in one spot rather than worry about misplacing or missing a sticky note. I would definitely stay at KD Haven again.

Spoke to the local agent once left two messages no response. There is no wifi in the house and no cell service. Gas fire place did not work. The cleaning in the lower bath had a leak from the upper bath. While these were minor issues for us the lack of response was a problem. The place was great and about 25- 30 minutes from the west gate of Yellowstone

The cabin is nice and comfortable. It was well stocked with kitchen pans etc. I would suggest calling the day before checking in, to make sure housekeeping has cleaned the cabin, as it had not, upon our arrival. We were reimbursed cleaning fee, but I had to spend time cleaning.

Beautiful getaway

We had a little trouble finding because of written directions and missing signs. Loved the inside, very comfortable seating and recliners for resting!!! Great washer and dryer which we took advantage of. Clean and comfortable beds. Upstairs a little tight, but would be great for kids.
