Beach front condo, second floor, centrally located, with an exquisite view of the Sea of Cortez in La Jolla, San Jose, a secure resort with privately owned condos. This condo underwent a complete renovation during the summer of 2017. All new appliances, countertops, paint, refinished cabinetry, two burner electric stove cook top, new furniture. The condo is approximately 500 sq. ft. with a queen size bed that faces the terrace so you wake up with an ocean view. Standard studio size tile bathroom with shower. A wrap around couch in the sunken living area. You will spend most of your time enjoying the ocean view on the terrace in the mornings and in the evenings. The condo is fully furnished with flat screen t.v., kitchenette, dishes, utensils, coffee maker, toaster, blender, stove top, cooler, blow dryer, linens, beach towels, beach chairs, and a safe. Access to laundry machines one floor below. 24 hour security. Walking distance from restaurants, convenience stores, shopping. Two landscaped and well maintained pools, one heated, one salt water. Access to ocean and lounge chairs. The pool that the condo overlooks in the photo on the listing does not belong to La Jolla owners. It belongs to the adjacent hotel, Hilton Krystal. La Jolla pools are to the left and not viewed in the photo. Daily bus service in front of La Jolla to Cabo and San Jose, every 10 min. Condo is 20 minutes from the airport and a five minute taxi ride to downtown San Jose with shopping, quaint bars and restaurants. San Jose is a quieter, quainter, and more serene town than Cabo. Great escape for romance, fishing, or contemplation. San Jose is becoming the go to place for art galleries, european style cafes, eclectic restaurants, and wine tasting. 20% discount for 28+ day rentals. Owner seeks long term rentals.

Overall nice property and view condo

Owner did give accurate descriptions of the pool noise from the hotel next door and the ocean view over the pool makes up for it . We could see the whales at times from the terrace . The condo is cute , was very clean but could use some simple proper maintenance on a few things . The property is nice , well secured and easy access to the beach for great walks.

Fantastic!

We had a fantastic stay at this condo! The space was comfortable and well-equipped, and the 5-gallon water dispenser (with refill) was a thoughtful touch. The location was perfect, with stunning patio views, easy access to the beach and pools, and nearby restaurants and groceries. The on-site doctor’s clinic was an added convenience. The La Jolla complex is beautifully maintained, and Barb was incredibly responsive and helpful. While the nearby resort's evening noise was a bit bothersome, we were aware beforehand, and the price reflects this. Overall, we loved our stay and would happily return!

Sunrise view in San Jose

We spent one week at this property. The grounds are very beautiful and well maintained. There are 2 pools, one heated and one unheated. The condo itself overlooks the pool at the Krystal Grand Hotel. There is a bit of noise from the hotel but we weren’t bothered by it. The unit is very well stocked. I can’t think of anything we needed that was not provided. It was great to have a sitting area separate from the bed. The bed was comfortable. There is some wear and tear in the condo, (wobbly kitchen faucet, loose water taps in the bathroom) but nothing to prevent us from having a great vacation. The sunrises were spectacular! Great for walks on the beach, a few restaurants in walking distance, grocery store within walking distance and everything else is just a short drive away. I would recommend this place for couples or close friends looking for a relaxing place in San José Del Cabo.

Great unit with a great view! Suits one person or couple. Love La Jolla suites, it is clean, safe and quiet. Would 100% stay again in the future.

Very quiet complex lucky for us Krystal Hotel had pool under re-construction although a bit dusty from all the sanding most of the construction noise was during the day. Most days we had the pool to ourselves then as the weeks went on it got busier. Views were outstanding, people were very friendly a few restaurants close by getting to them was interesting mind the sidewalks not in good condition. Unit itself was as described.

Exactly As Advertised - Exactly What We Needed!

From my first inquiry, I felt that this was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary - so happy we booked! Great communication, easy checkin /out, and when we arrived, we were thrilled to see the unit was exactly like the pictures! Everything you could possibly need is there, and well organized. We didn't have a car, but found literally everything (groceries, restaurants, medical offices, etc.) we needed within a 20 minute walk. If we wanted to go further, Uber was always available and just minutes away. Recommendations for restaurants and notes on directions were bang on. The view...OMG - amazing!!! No question - we would definitely stay here again!

Beautifull Condo

Enjoyed every minute of my 1 week stay. Condo very well equipped and super clean. Beach location and Sunrise spectacular. The only negative I would point out is that other than walking miles in the sand ( can be tough ), the daily walking feels a touch dangerous strolling along shoulder of busy hwy corridor.

Nice property

This property was great for a nice get away. We would definitely recommend it to other couples. We stayed there from November 26th to December 3rd with our 5 month old. Pros: -Very easy check in process and great communication with property managers -Amazing location and view -Clean room -Convenient amenities such as in room wifi, cold water dispenser, quiet heated pools in complex -Comfortable bed and plenty of towels/linens Cons: -The patio overlooks another complex and it can be loud. The music shuts down at 10 pm, but people sang until 11:30 pm on a couple nights. In all fairness, the reviews and property listing were upfront about the potential for noise. It’s not bad, but if you are noise sensitive or have a 5 month old like us, then consider bringing a white noise machine to help drown out the sound -The room is very bright and the curtains are sheer (which is a pro and con). Great for spectacular morning views of the sunrise, but not great if you like darkness or have a kid who naps during the day Overall this is a great place to stay and good value for the price!

Beautiful Condo

Such a great condo in an excellent location. Condo was very comfortable. Noise was not an issue. The complex was great. The pools were not busy, and people were very friendly. Close to great restaurants on the beach, and close to San Jose for great restaurants and some nightlife. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful Condo with the most amazing sunrises

The view from this condo was amazing! Waking up to the Baja sunrise every morning was well worth it for us. We found the kitchen to be well stocked for preparing meals and a water cooler and full sized fridge was perfect. The pools and grounds were well maintained and beautiful. The staff on site were very helpful and friendly. Maria especially! Our parents have now booked for a stay based on our photos and recommendations.

Ocean/beach/pool view

We are a retired couple and enjoyed our stay here for 9 days. The studio is light & bright with a beautiful ocean view. We found the hotel pool in front was OK for people watching, especially during our happy hours on the patio. If it became too noisy in the evening, we closed the doors & windows & put on the A/C. It was clean & the bed comfy. The shower was large with good water pressure. It worked well for 2 people.

I was so happy with our beautiful place. It was clean, beautiful and stocked with everything we needed and then some . The location was perfect for us too . Paradise!

La Jolla Sunrise

Lisa Marie’s place is part of an absolutely beautiful complex with amazing grounds and completely safe. It’s location in the hotel zone allows for easy access for shopping, catching public transportation, and watching the most awesome sunrises. This unit has added a new kitchen and bathroom since the last time we stayed here and the renos really add to the space. We knew that the proximity to the Krystal Hotel makes it noisy and unfortunately that continues to be true. Most nights it does stop around 1100, however, it makes it difficult to enjoy evenings on the balcony. Overall, a nice clean studio in a great location on a beautiful beach.

Enjoyable stay at La Jolla

We stayed in this unit for two weeks at the end of November. It was very comfortable and great for two. We had everything we needed, the owner and property manager were easy to communicate with. The La Jolla property is great. Friendly people, relaxing and close to anything we needed. As mentioned before, there are times that the hotel guests in the next door property get carried away, but this inconvenience was not a surprise as previous reviews had mentioned this.

Baja Adventure

La Jolla is a beautiful property. The condo was lovely and in an excellent location. This was our first time in this condo but not at the La Jolla property. The view of the Sea of Cortez from the condo's balcony is amazing. It was very clean and comfortable. We hope to go back to San Jose del Cabo next year and stay longer.

Relaxing getaway

Great stay!

This property was very comfortable, and had all we needed. The community is quiet and secure, beach and heated pool are perfect. At no time was the pool outside the property a nuisance. The guests nor the music were loud and distracting, and the landscaping made for gorgeous sunrise pics. We enjoyed watching for the whales in the late afternoon!
