INNER COVE ROOM
This room has a private entrance overlooking the inlet, ensuite bathroom with rainwater shower, Roku Smart TV, and high-speed WiFi. The room has a small bar fridge to keep drinks cool and a keurig coffee/tea station. There is plenty of beach to explore, or it's also a quiet spot to enjoy a book. Located 10min from the Wild Pacific Trail and 15min from Ucluelet, where you have access to a variety of amenities. Enjoy a day exploring and then spend an evening relaxing around a fire fostering new friendships. Please note that in this room we DO NOT accommodate anyone under the age of 13. This Room has no access to cooking facilities so we encourage guests to visit one of our many local restaurants.

OUR PROPERTY
We look forward to your stay with us! Carolyn's Cove is one of the few accommodation providers located on the water with its own private shoreline. Our property is nestled on two acres of rainforest on the inlet across from Ucluelet. Our main house has 3 rooms in the walk out basement overlooking the inlet. Each room has their own private 4-piece bathroom, mini fridge, Keurig coffee/tea maker with supplies. Each of the rooms open to a semi private patio, and common back yard with fire pit and seating area. The yard offers a 6 person hot tub, along with patio table and chairs to soak in the beautiful surroundings. Our rooms have a maximum guest accommodation of two per room, and are suitable for ages 13 and up.

The property also has a detached double car garage with an upper level cabin. This open concept cabin has a full kitchen and living area. With its own deck, guests can enjoy private ocean views or visit with other guests around the fire pit. At low tide, walk on the shoreline or spend your time bird watching - one guest identified 31 species on our shoreline. At high tide, watch for visiting seals and sea lions. If you are a family wishing to visit the area, our cabin can accommodate up to four adults and works well for families with children.

Our Tranquil Tiny Cove offering a private deck with outside seating, BBQ and firepit help to create an atmosphere of quiet relaxation among nature. Inside our tiny home cabin is a welcoming queen bed, TV, and bathroom including a toilet, small sink and shower (comfortably fitting guests under 6 feet). The kitchen includes an induction cooktop, microwave, drip coffee, and kettle. This cabin has a private deck with hot tub.

This reservation has a Firm cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 60 days prior to the check in date.
A 100% refund is provided for travelers cancelling at least 60 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travelers cancelling from 30 to 59 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travelers cancelling less than 30 days prior to check-in.

Fabulous shower!!

This property is a bedroom with bathroom and features a gorgeous shower. Very clean and modern. There are 3 rooms under the main residence facing the sea. So beautiful. The only criticism we would have is lack of sound proofing from upstairs and the other rooms.

Quiet Cove

A quiet cove in the wilderness with an artist’s view of Ucluelet and the harbour but the comfort of a hot tub, clean room and spacious shower. Hosts are obviously working on continual upgrades.

What your looking for

Cute, quiet & great getaway spot away from the city. Personally, Ucluelet town ( which is 12min drive away) was more exiting than Tofino. So my partner and I were happy that we choose to stay in uccelete. Carolyns cove is was a great stay, the firepit is great for after the hike we did & soaked in the hottub. Definitely reccomend staying here over hotels, they add in the extra touches & make you feel so comfortable and welcomed. 💓. -Sierra & Nigel

A wonderful view, a private swimming beach, in a quiet forest setting. There was a big clean kitchen area. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. There were wonderful restaurants to chose to visit. There were walking trails and miles of beach to walk.

Battery Recharge

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Carolyn's Cove B&B. It was the perfect peaceful spot for us to "recharge batteries". It felt like a real holiday....much appreciated.

Carolyn's Cove room #2 was a pleasant space with nice decor and was clean and fresh. Carolyn and her husband Tom were warm and welcoming. The hot tub and views are lovely. Unfortunately, there are no windows in the suite you can open so it was quite stuffy and damp feeling overnight. The "continental breakfast" was most disappointing, with a bowl of mixed fruit, a pot of Activia yogurt each, bagged supermarket bread for us to toast and opened (used) peanut butter and jam available in a shared fridge. There was no butter but again, plastic tubs of used margarine. All of this food was provided in a windowless, airless kitchen space shared by all three guest rooms. It felt more like a cheap youth hostel than a B & B, which in our experience usually offers a variety of cold breakfast items, home baking and often hot food such as bacon and eggs on offer. During Covid, it felt unsafe to be sharing food items with other guests and the kitchen was unappealing. The "house rules" were that food (other than light snacks) were to be consumed in the kitchen and not in the guest room. Ucluelet and its beaches are a 20 minute drive from this B & B on a long, windy road that is difficult to drive at night. We would not choose to stay here again.

Just one word: Great

We loved being here. Sitting in the tub or near the fireplace we had a splendid view over the water and the private beach. Bald eagles fishing in the back-garden, the bears hiding in the woods and very friendly hosts. Good beds an a nice chat with other guests. We had a wonderful time, not to mention the gorgeous nature nearby.
