Excellent Stay in LA
We loved our 4 day stay in LA. This house was perfect for our family (2 teens). It's a great house... super clean, modern kitchen with everything you need, second bedroom with 2 double beds so kids didn't have to share, and a beautiful front yard green space to lounge in if the weather is good. Only one bathroom, and it could use a makeover as others have noted, but shower had excellent water pressure and temperature, so we were fine. If you're looking for a nice house in a safe, well situated, picturesque neighborhood, stay here. We loved being in Culver City. There are several grocery stores within a 10 minute drive (Target, Ralph's, Von's), and Costco isn't too much farther. Jackson Market is a gem and just down the street. So many restaurants in the Culver downtown area that are within walking distance. Loved strolling in the neighborhood (so much character), and there are great scenic hiking trails in the Baldwin Hills recreation area less than a 5 minute drive away if you're looking for a workout. Good access to freeways to get around. We easily explored the whole LA area, from Malibu right through to Newport. Street parking is limited in the neighborhood so having a dedicated parking space on the driveway was ideal. House is perfect for a couple or family looking to explore LA but avoid the tourist traps.
