Very private old growth forest setting with a surf inspired theme. Beautiful Getaway

We were called home way to quickly. Asia was a great host who was very available to any questions. The property was easy to find and in a beautiful location.

Escape to Tofino

It is lovely! Funky, quiet and very comfortable, for ourselves another couple and the dog! Very well equipped and two full bathroomsAll we needed. Close to all amenities and beaches and very clean. All we could possibly need. We will be back, thank you!

Everything We Hoped For

This cozy getaway was exactly what we anticipated! The location is excellent with easy access to walking trails, beach, coffee shops, restaurants and groceries, yet it's nestled away in the woods with privacy. We appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was with everything we needed for cooking. We hope to return again as Tofino has so much to explore!

Surf Cabin in the woods....

The Good: Roomy cabin. Extensive selection of kitchen equipment. Beds are comfortable. Secluded location close to Cox Beach. Owner provided split logs for fire pit. Hot water comes almost immediately from faucets. Good water pressure for faucets and showers. The not so Good: The upstairs bath room has NO towel bars and hooks. Upper master bedroom and bathroom only have a SINGLE mirror over the sink....

Best beach vacay spot!

We loved everything about the house. Location was fabulous, beaches were totally accessible (10-15 min walk), furniture was comfortable, everything was clean, outside deck was lovely, and it was fully stocked for all of our home cooking. Also loved all the local soaps in the house. We went and bought some! Zero complaints.

Living in the rainforest

This is a splendid house, tucked right into the forest. The living room picture in the listing doesn’t do it justice. The over stuffed sofas and chairs are gone replaced by a lovely L shaped leather couch. The house is modern, comfortable and very well designed. Lots of windows and skylights. Beds are comfy. Perfectly situated between the park and the town and it’s only a 15 minute walk to the beach. An absolutely perfect spot for nature lovers.

My husband and our 2 dogs loved our stay. It was a spacious and comfortable home and 10 min walk to Cox Bay. We would definitely stay here again.

Surf Break

Our family stayed here for 3 nights and found the property to be very comfortable and in a beautiful setting. A little too far for us to walk to Chesterman with our boards, but still very close and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Fantastic location

Great place to stay, was appropriate for our family of three but could have hosted a few more people comfortably. Not sure about the cleaner as the floors were pretty sandy on arrival and the front door was unlocked. But otherwise the place was tidy and well equipped.

Forest getaway

Very nice house away from the road, quiet. Lots of dishes, towels etc for 7 of us. Asia was very nice and easy to get hold of. Could walk to Chesterman and Cox Bay but drove as we had too much to carry. Nice to sit outside in the forest after busy Tofino activities.

Great cabin, close to beaches!!

2 couples and our dog spent an awesome 3 days. The layout is great for socializing and the kitchen is well equipped.

Awesome!

We really enjoyed our 5 nights at the Surf Cabin. Great location tucked away in the forest and within walking distance of both Cox Bay and Chesterman Beaches. Well stocked and comfortable. Asia and especially Dawn were very friendly and helpful. Our grown daughter made good use of the surf board they allowed her to use. Lots to do and see in the area but you’ll just want to stay put and enjoy the cabin. Thanks for a great place to stay. Hopefully we can return in the future.

Short n Sweet two night weekend

Lovely for six adults. No sheet for the 3rd bed. Heated floors a blessing. Temp about right even with downpours. Loved the miss covered tree Fort atmosphere. For a big tall guy sinks and shower size a temporary trial🤗

Tofino Visit

Everything was great once we got here. The thing that was super frustrating was the on line booking . There was some confusion and I left my phone # on the web site and an email and never got a reply whicj would have cleared things up easily. Once the time was up for the conformation was when we realised that the payment had not gone through...so we started again hoping the dates hadn't been taken. Also not happy with not knowing the address until booking is confirmed. Probably policy but annoying. Would definetly return.

Cabin in the rainforest

A roomy 2 bed and den, two bath cabin. Not far from 2 excellent beaches. We cooked Christmas dinner here with no trouble, could use a few more bowls there was only 4 and two were cracked, no serving spoons either, but other than that a pretty well equipped kitchen, nice easy to use gas range and big fridge freezer. Owner contacted us on arrival to see if we were finding it alright.

We are a surfing family that live in Tofino full time. I built Tofino Surf Cabin in 2006 and have also built several houses in the neighbourhood. My wife is a massage therapist, yoga instructor and life coach.

Why they chose this property

I chose this property because i wanted to live close to the beach and be in the forest. There is something special about living in this old growth forest surround by ancient trees and moss.

What makes this property unique

walking to the beach on the multi-use path. enjoying the custom woodwork through out the house and soaking up the heat from the hydronic floors.
