We booked as a family and 1 pet to visit my aunt and uncle who live in Bellevue. We had a lovely stay and the property has everything you'll need to be comfortable and entertain a large group for a meal or just to hang out. The yard and fire pit are a great asset to the property. Look forward to our next stay.
Our family had a most enjoyable time at Larkspur Lodge! We loved being able to gather around the fire after a day of hiking and exploring. The Lodge is very spacious and the kitchen has everything one needs to cook a gourmet meal - an impressive variety of spices and appliances. Wifi is excellent and best of all, we were able to bring our furry friend. Paula was most receptive to our questions and check in and out was seamless. We'll be back!!
Infused with personality and stocked with everything a group would need for a comfortable stay, Larkspur Lodge is a total delight. Wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces and perfectly located to explore Crowsnest, I would recommend this location to everyone!
This is a delightful, older but charming property. We loved the unique character and central location to the Crowsnest region and hope to return next year.
This was our second stay at Larkspur Lodge. It is a fantastic walk into history of the area. The home is sprawling and spectacular. A true treasure in Hillcrest. The hosts are fantastic and prompt in all replies.
The house os amazing everything u need is there plenty of space aslo Hillcrest offer alot to see also close to BC for day trip.Would differently recommend this place.
This is a lovely property, lots of character, beautifully appointed and spacious. We really appreciated its large living room with comfortable seating for all of us (a family of 7 adults) and the six friends who came to visit one day. The dining room is also large with a table that comfortably sat 8 and a round table that could seat another 5 or 6. The kitchen was very well-equipped and comfortable for 2 or 3 to cook in at once. We really appreciated having 2 ovens and 2 fridges for our Christmas feasting. The bedrooms were large and attractive. Some of us didn't find the beds as comfortable as we wished, but that seemed minor compared to how well everything else worked for us.The owner was very responsive and helpful. Clear instructions were provided for managing things in the house.
Stayed here August 2024 for 5 nights. Our group was in Crowsnest Pass for a family wedding. Very close to the flower farm venue. The surrounding area was beautiful. The kitchen, living room, dining room and backyard were an excellent size to accommodate us all. The host (Paula) was very efficient and thorough with messages about the property.
The Larkspur Lodge has been the perfect accommodation for our Sinister 7 team for several years. The many bedrooms and common spaces allow quiet or social time. The lodge is well-equipped and provides us with everything we need for a weekend of fun.
The property on the whole was comfortable and interesting. We all enjoyed the period furniture as well as the 70s vibe. The yard is gorgeous and we used it when weather was cooperating.
All in all I would suggest this property to anyone.
We love staying in this unique heritage home full of history and character and a cozy fireplace. The kitchen has everything you need and the cupboards are full of books, games, puzzles and more for lots of family fun! The house is centrally located for exploring the Crowsnest Pass area.
The crowsnest area mountains provide amazing views and the history of the area is interesting. Lots of hiking in the area and we will hopefully be back. Host was very responsive, the.hime was clean and well equipt. The furniture is a bit outdated but we were very comfortable!
My daughter picked this place and we didnt really check it out much online but it turned out nice and comfortable for the 7 adult family members. Decorations and amenities were interesting really. Kitchen well equipped even though we didn't use it much. Stairs to bedrooms is circular and abit rough for us older folks. Upstairs shower clawfoot tub needs some practical shelving to really be functional. Everyone used the downstairs very nicely remodeled bathroom shower. Took a little getting used to but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
This property worked out very well for our family reunion. It is spacious and well stocked. The only concern we had was it was a very warm week in the Crowsnest Pass and we were only provided with two fans to cover the four bedrooms upstairs. Also, we could not open any windows on the main floor to get some air flow. Other then that it was a great property.
We had a lovely family thanksgiving here. The kitchen is the best equipped of any that we have stayed at. Beautiful mountain views, cozy living space and bedrooms for all. Communication with the hosts was terrific too. Can’t wait to return.
Fell in love with the Crowsnest Pass many years ago. We bought the Lodge on the day we saw it and have never looked back. Over the years our lives have been enriched by the times we have spent here.
