About this property

Located in a quiet and serene area of the peninsula this beach house has a spectacular gulf view from the living room, master bedroom and guest bedroom! Sleeping quarters include master bedroom with king size bed, guest room with queen bed and a bunk room with 1 full and 1 twin bed. For your convenience all beds are pre-made with linens provided for free! Beds for 7 people plus one ottoman cot that converts to a twin bed for the 8th person.
The master bedroom has a TV and built in DVD player. The house is also a split floor plan with bedrooms on each side of the house. The living room sports a big screen TV and streaming WIFI.. But the best part is the beachfront view! Watch the sun rise or sun set, see the ships travel on the Gulf and dolphins frolic in the water. A quick walk puts you on a secluded area of the beach with very little traffic. A six foot wide golf cart path makes getting to the beach quick and easy. The grill, built in picnic tables and outdoor shower downstairs make entertaining easy and enjoyable in any kind of weather. Plenty of parking for guests, boats and trailers. Large lawn for horseshoes and volleyball. Into birdwatching?? Because there is so much vacant land and because Bolivar Peninsula is know for its bird migration, guests can sit on the deck and see many different kinds of birds including the Roseate Spoonbill. Quiet and private beach house

This house was on Bolivar Pennisula on a quieter end which was perfect for our visit. Great beach access and view. The house was clean and well laid out with split bedrooms. Small grocery store nearby and a couple of great restaurants. Enjoyed our stay!

Decadent deck with private beach access

This property is fantastic! It is a cute lil’ 2/2, but that isn’t the draw… the draw is the direct, private beach access and the perfectly equipped deck. We sat on the deck for two days listening to the rhythmic sounds of the waves. We took the private path with an adorable bridge to the beach for walks.

Quick weekend getaway

We loved this house! We really loved the location and the fact that there were not neighbors right on top of us. And that isn’t because we stayed in the middle of December. The houses in this area of location are spaced far enough apart that you don’t feel smothered. We will most definitely be a repeat customer.

Very nice experience

It was just a very nice peace and beautiful experience. We had the beach all to our selves and it was such a warm and lovely home. Thank you to our wonderful host for opening up her home for us to have such a great 2 year anniversary experience. Also so thankful we could bring our dog Faith with us!

Wonderful Location

We had a lovely stay at this property. The location is perfect if you want a nice relaxing calm environment. The house was very clean and the host was great at communicating a TV issue before we arrived. The views from the deck alone are worth booking this space. Make sure you bring some mosquito repellent especially if it rains! Short walk to the beach and we basically had the entire beach to ourselves the entire time we were there! Our little dog and my parents loved it!

Fantastic stay

The view was incredible! I loved having coffee each morning and listening to the waves, very peaceful. My husband and i used this trip to celebrate our 40th birthdays. The host had a boutique of flowers and card wishing us a happy birthday on arrival. Overall great stay! Taking the ferry to Galveston was free and a fun adventure. We skydived at Skydive Galveston, excellent experience!

Family Vacation

Very relaxing vacation home. Not far from the beach, definitely walking distance. Great view in the morning of the beach! Plenty of space for 3 teenagers, a child and adults.

Beautiful property in a convenient location!

Great place to stay for vacation! We loved the walking path to the beach and the quiet and peaceful location of the house. House was clean and well kept with a great interior and exterior layout. Plenty of outdoor furniture to enjoy the great views of the water. Host made the entire process easy and enjoyable. Would highly recommend!

Spectacular ocean View!

This beach house has a beautiful view of the gulf, and the beach is easily accessed with a one or two minute walk through a pretty pathway. This house had everything we needed. We enjoyed relaxing, cooking and playing games with our family. We especially enjoyed watching the gorgeous sunrises from the porch every morning. The house only has two other homes next to it. No one was in these homes the days we were there, so we pretty much had the beach to ourselves! We hope to get to go back sometime soon!

Many years ago I moved to California from Nebraska but have always missed the mid-western values and hospitality. Through the advice of my brother Mike Walz of Crystal Beach's Walz Family Builders I seized the opportunity to sell my California condominium and built on Bolivar. I appreciate the area and the hospitality. It is like coming back to my roots. I am very pleased to be able to share my home with you. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Why they chose this property

Since my brother owns a home and a business in Crystal Beach I have visited many times. Each time I fell more and more in love with the area. I decided to invest my retirement money here and started with Pelican Bay. It has been such a pleasant experience with wonderful, wonderful guests! So when an opportunity arose I jumped at the chance to purchase a second home. I can't wait to share this peaceful stress-free beach with you.

What makes this property unique

The most spectacular thing about Pelican Bluff is the spectacular beach front view. The front deck is 16' deep - 8' is covered and 8' is uncovered. Guests are able to enjoy the shade, read, sip a glass of wine or beer or tan in the sunshine. The family area under the house includes a shower, a two built-in picnic tables and charcoal grill. It is a wonderful area that will accommodate many family members and guests. It offers you all the comforts of home with the additional bonus of hearing and watching the surf.
