This 2 bedroom home is on a fully fenced 3 acre mixed fruit orchard with chickens and a friendly farm dog. Fruit grown on the property, peaches pears and apples. We are a perfect winter/spring getaway. Easy drive to Skiing at two great resorts. Only 30 minutes to Apex Mountain a world class resort and training facility, and one hour to the most charming Mount Baldy nestled on the Canada side of US border with high alpine, great snow, short or no lines, and some of the lowest lift prices in North America.

Fantastic location on a farm property

Really impressed with the size of the property and being located within walking distance of 4 wineries (with 1 right next door) was a dream for wine lovers! There are chickens and a farm dog on the property but they were mostly pretty quiet, and I really felt like I was staying in the countryside. It was still too early in the spring to be able to utilize the pool but I am sure it would be amazing to have in the summer time.

A little bit of country

We enjoyed the house with the big kitchen. To be surrounded by orchards made it feel more out of town. .Our host was great. He took time to visit with us and answer our questions about his orchard.

Perfect location for the winerys

Down for a little closer to home staycation. Took our bikes for a self guided wine tour like we did on our first anniversary. The unit had a a nice kitchen that allowed for us to prepare our own meals.

Great Location

The property was everything we hoped. The pool was great, the orchard was fantastic to walk through. really nice to be close to a winery. Host communicated well. Highly reccomend staying.

We had an amazing time this past weekend, the house, location, pool were fabulous. We had the added bonus of the puppy and chickens keeping us entertained. Will be staying again!

Charming and wonderful

We had a wonderful experience here. You will too if you like your own space but also like having a (very) few people nearby tending the orchard etc. and you like animals. Gordon is a wonderful person with a big heart, his special needs son is a wonderful young man. The chickens and dog were very friendly and so much fun to have around. The house is easily accessible along a main road but was not noisy at night as we thought it may be. House is super clean and modern inside, everything works, all the basics of a home. Would definitely stay there again if in the area!

Great Family Experience

We all enjoyed our stay. The pool was a hit with our young children and they were in it every chance that they got. We loved the experience of staying on the orchard. Gord and Larry were both very helpful. We'd definitely recommend staying here and if we get the chance we will go back for sure!

Our adult family of 6 enjoyed a great stay in the perfectly located property. 2 couples had their own rooms, while adults 5 & 6 had to sleep on the 2 x individual couches in the living room which was not a problem for them.

Fantastic stay.

Really enjoyed our time here at the property. The pool and the orchard view were fantastic. The beds seemed clean but there was hair on the pillowcases. The house furnishings are outdated but fits with the type or orchard living. The location was absolutely amazing. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Wonderful stay

Gordon's property was perfect for my family of 5. We were greeted by Varros, the most handsome doggo. The home itself was a great fit with a washer and dryer. We made use of the pool each day and the kids loved the free range chickens around the property. We bought eggs right from Larry, the grounskeeper, and the eggs were perfect. Overall, the property and the poeple there made our stay in Penticton that much more enjoyable. We would and will definitely stay here again.

LOVED this place

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary with a 3 night stay at this awesome place. It has free range chickens that roam the property. I had a fresh egg every morning for breakfast.😋 Gord, Malcolm and their caretakers, Larry and Karen, make sure you have everything you need and provide tips on visiting the area. We enjoyed their dog Varo too. We brought our bikes and accessed the Kettle Valley Railway trail easily from the property. On Saturday morning we went to the Penticton farmers market. Malcolm has a plant, walnut, fruit and juice (from their apples) booth at the market. We will return!

Another amazing stay!

This was our 2nd time staying at Gordon’s place and it was everything we’d remembered. We had 4 adults and two kids and we found the house very spacious and had room for everyone. The central A/C was perfect with the +34 temperatures we had. We absolutely adore Varro, the lovely white dog who is so friendly and couldn’t wait to greet us every time we came back. The free range chickens were very cool to see and would happily wander around the yard while we were in the pool. We loved coming back to a refreshing dip in the pool after a hot day out. We loved to see all the fruit trees out the back. The house is situated on a hill surrounded by orchards and wineries and only a short drive to the beach and the amazing river float. There is so much to do in Penticton. We can’t wait to come back and hope we’ll be lucky enough to book Gordon’s place again!

Lovely property and farm experience

We had a really great stay at the farm. The kids loved the pool and chickens, and especially the farm dog Varro. Our check-in was a bit delayed by the owner and the place could have used a more thorough cleaning. Overall, a great location and property and lots of fun memories!

Climbing week with friends

Wonderful stay!

The house and location was perfect for our family gathering. There is plenty of space and a beautiful orchard with apples, pears, walnuts, chickens and a super friendly farm dog. Wineries abound and there is easy access right from the house to the stunning Kettle Valley Rail trail. It was a perfect stay.
