Charming cottage for rent on the Mount Saint-Marie Ski-in /Ski-out fully equipped. 3 bedrooms that can sleep 8 people. 1 hour from Ottawa. Amazing location for outdoor activities and families ( Skiing, Mountain Biking, Golf, Fat Bike trail in the winter and access to a beach by a lake at approximately 500 meters. ) WIFI+BBQ with a large patio. It is a nature bath.

MSM is the perfect hidden jam for outdoor lovers and it is known by a small community. There is also a nice restaurant/bar and music scene on Saturday night.
Vallée de la Gatineau is also well-known for the nice fishing, horse back, gravel bike, kayaking is the area is beautiful.

Beautiful location

Ann’s property is a quaint chalet, nestled in the trees and perfectly located near the base of the mountain at Mont Ste Marie. It has everything you need for a lovely stay.

Perfect location to ski Mont Ste Marie

A very cozy spot to ski at Mont Ste Marie. 5m walk downhill to the lifts/main lodge. Good heating (fireplace, electric heat), good hot water, comfortable beds. Worked well for two families with kids sharing the bunk room. Ann was very responsive and helpful and has clearly put care into making the chalet cozy. Chalet could benefit from a thorough clean, updated linens and additional reading lamps to make the space even more comfortable.

Une autre belle fin de semaine à Ste-Marie

C'était notre deuxième séjour à ce chalet et nous avons tout autant apprécié cette fin de semaine d'automne. Situé tout près des pistes de vélo de montagne, nous avons pu rouler et aller nous ravitailler/reposer sans avoir à nous déplacer. Les installations sont complètes, fonctionnelles et les lieux sont propres. L'environnement est aussi très reposant et la forêt est bucolique. Merci.

Family getaway in the woods

We had a great time at the chalet, very clean, check in was easy. Our family enjoyed the bird watching from the balcony. Would rent again in the future.

Beautiful spot

This is a comfortable chalet in the forest on the side of a ski mountain. It is very quiet and there are many birds. It is only a short drive to town. The chalet is well-equipped and we particularly enjoyed the large deck. The stairs up to the main floor/kitchen/dining area were a little difficult for my elderly mother to navigate but otherwise we had a wonderful stay.

Le chalet correspondait tout à fait aux attentes. Très bien situé, sur la montagne directement. Bien utilisé le déshumidificateur, le chalet demeure un peu humide.

A Magical Holiday in the Mountains

We LOVED our time at this perfect little cabin in the woods. I have so much to say! First, The upper/main floor has everything: kitchen, main bedroom, bathroom, and open living room surrounded in BIG windows that look out into the trees. It felt like being in a treehouse. It was perfect also for my elderly mom who is not able to do too many stairs, so when we were inside she had everything she needed on one floor. The kids room and second bedroom downstairs were spacious and comfortable: great pillows and mattresses, cool for those warmer days, games and books in the kids bunk room! It was So great to have laundry onsite and a dehumidifier as well. The kids loved the screened in treehouse in the yard and we all adored watching the wildlife at the bird feeder on the deck. The area: this is steps away from the Mont St Marie chairlift. It's such a quiet oasis in the woods shared only with mountain biking enthusiasts who came up on the weekends. We drove just around the corner to the second chairlift and walked in to the little lake that has a perfect sandy beach and floating dock. Most days we had it completely to ourselves! You could easily walk or bike to it as well! There's a great little pub (Chez Malo) just 5 minutes away that had lovely food as well. Ann was so friendly and helpful during out stay. We were there during the big windstorm that passed through Ottawa and although it mostly missed us, she was sure to check in to see that we were alright. She also checked on us to see if we needed more propane for the bbq etc. We felt right at home and well taken care of. We can't wait to come back again in the future!

Beautiful and serene location

I travelled to Ann's chalet in late Fall with 3 girlfriends for a weekend getaway. The area is quiet and the property is private. We did lots of hiking and then relaxing by the fire. A perfect relaxing escape from the City to nature!

Family Quality Time

This cozy chalet was perfect for a family vacation. Highlights included: very comfortable beds and linens, wood fireplace, birdfeeder, boot warmers, closeness to the hill, views from the windows, sled to transport your skis to the hill, and being in the forest.

Why they chose this property

The lot is absolutely gorgious. The cottage is surrounded by trees. Although you are in the heart of action at MSM, you have a private space very peaceful. 2 minutes walking distance from the main chair lift and connected to the mountain bike path, directly on the property.
